Breakfast just ok - free cappiccino was a bonus! The location worked out perfectly - small balcony and view of neighborhood - parking on site was convenient and free ... on 3rd floor with no lift but parking in rear of building gave direct single level access - it was fun being able to walk around village - We had a wonderful dinner a few blocks from hotel - We loved the area ... absolutely beautiful with some nice ez hiking trails, small farms - lift access to higher elevations and additional trails ..
The photos looked like the hotel was out in the country - along a country lane / but it was actually in the village - we were not prepared for the auto-check in with no staff so it would have been nice to have better instructions - but we figured it out.

Lovely view from the room balconies. The breakfast is very good and offers everything a non-vegetarian could want, with eggs made to order by very welcoming staff. Self check-in was easy to understand. The rooms are pleasant and clean. We preferred the roomy parking on the other side of the road as the parking close to the hotel was a bit tight for our big car.
Prepare for some traffic noise and considerable church bell noise. Our rooms were carpeted, which is rare to see these days - we were okay with that, but it may be something people with allergies need to consider.

Breakfast was very delicious, high quality food and we really enjoyed it. Plus the lady who was present did an excellent job of serving us some eggs and more. Well done. Excellent value. Gorgeous setting too. Nicely decorated and the view. Oh wow the view. Amazing.
Very little to be honest. I really cant think of much. It was our first time checking into a hotel without a person at front desk so doing it in the machine, but that actually went quite well. No, I honestly would have to say that nothing really was unliked.

My recent stay at a hotel in Liechtenstein was truly exceptional. The highlight was undoubtedly the breakfast, which featured a sumptuous spread of various meats, breads, and eggs, all cooked to perfection according to personal preferences. The availability of coffee and tea around the clock added a touch of convenience and luxury to our mornings. The bedding in the rooms deserves special mention for its comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of activities. Additionally, the hotel's sauna facilities were a welcome retreat, complete with plush towels that added to the overall experience of relaxation and indulgence. A notable advantage of this hotel is its location, just a 10-minute drive from some of the best skiing spots in the area, making it an ideal choice for ski enthusiasts. The staff's attention to detail and the well-organized amenities greatly enhanced our stay, making it a memorable experience in Liechtenstein.

Beautiful place to stay in Leichstein. Trisenburg is high village with beautiful views and restaurants. Better than staying in Vaduz. Hotel was fabulous, self service check-in plenty of parking, self service free coffee and tea, honesty bar in evening, water in room and many more little touches that make your stay even better. Cannot fault Hotel Oberland. Very friendly staff at breakfast, who will cook eggs to your liking. Don't stay anywhere else if you come to this region.

I was very pleased with my stay, I recommend it and most probably will stay there when I visit Liechtenstein again. The room was very nice, modern, and clean ( could be considered small if you bring along many things, but it was convenient for my case). The view is very nice and its situated between Vaduz and nice mountain trails! The breakfast was very tasty and fresh! There is a coffee machine/water/hot chocolate always available at the breakfast room.

So glad we discovered this hotel, there's so much I enjoyed about it! I was concerned about the self-check in, but it was really easy and it looked like there is the opportunity to contact the hosts if there are any problems (we didn't need to). The breakfast room is attractive and the options were great. The sauna area is beautiful, and you can't beat the view from the rooms. Everyone we encountered in Triesenberg were so friendly as well. I think this is my new favourite place.

This was a really nice hotel at an altitude of 3,012 feet. Fantastic view of the valley. The bus number 21 drops you off about 300 metres away, but it’s a bit of a climb if you have luggage. The rooms are very clean and modern. You can’t go wrong. Getting in might be a problem as it’s self registration and you need to be useful with new tech to register and get your room key. You don’t see the staff until the morning. The breakfast is good. There is a supply of bottles of booze which you are asked to deposit cash in the box for what you take. They accept Euros if you don’t have Swiss Francs. It’s one of those hotels where guests will chat to each other.
The sauna wasn’t working the last two nights I was there. Got woke up from very loud church bells at 6am one morning. Infra red sensors for the lights don’t also work in the reception area.

We chose to have a holiday using public transport rather than hiring a car. So we travelled by train from Basel to Sargans, it was a very relaxing and scenic two hours. At Sargans we picked up the number 11 bus, right outside the train station, to Vaduz where we got off at Vaduz Post. You have to cross to the other side of the road to catch the number 21 bus to Triesenberg Post. The buses are regular and quite simple, you pay the driver on the bus. The hotel has an automated check in which is not difficult, you choose your language and just follow the instructions on the screen. Our room was very nice, clean, spacious, and comfortable with a very nice shower room. We had a balcony which had amazing views down to the valley, and across to the mountains opposite. The only drawback of the room was the church, across the road, the bells chimed on the quarter hour, half past, quarter to, and hour from six in the morning. I think the people in the village don't hear it as they must be used to it, and by our second night I was begining to zone it out, so that was good. Either way it didn't ruin our holiday. Breakfast was very good with a selection of cheeses, meats, breads, jams, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, nuts, seeds and dried fruits, and eggs - served however you prefer. Although we only saw the staff at breakfast they were very pleasant and eager to please. During the day free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are available in the breakfast room, there are also other drinks available with an honesty box for payment. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay, and the surrounding countryside is very, very beautiful.
