Food in the restaurant is really excellent! Dinner is a real treat. The team work really hard to do a great job - they were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great location for hiking - you can join the E1 Trail at the front of the hotel and walk down the trail into Echternach.

The property really needs some investment but we really enjoyed our stay. It would be a shame for an old classic beautiful hotel like this to disappear - someone please invest ! Dogs are allowed to stay but then not allowed in the restaurant or breakfast room. You can eat out on the terrace with the dog in the afternoon and evening - the terrace is really lovely but that would be a problem in bad weather.

Comfortable and spotless room with comfortable bed. The staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. I appreciated the small treat waiting for my dog in the room. The breakfast was good, it was a pity that the terrasse of the restaurant was not open yet, despite the nice weather.

In the wellness center, I booked online a four-hands massage. Upon my arrival, I was informed that it is only for men and was offered a two-hands massage. While it was a decent one I discovered a bit later I was charged the price of a four-hand massage. Of course, this was disappointing,

The room was very clean. Nice welcome drink when arriving at the hotel. Good breakfast. Good restaurant in hotel.

The separate beds were too narrow. No water kettle available. The coke in the little fridge in the room was very expensive (4euros) and not sparkling anymore as it was out of date. The door of the room didn’t close properly so you could hear people talking in the hallway.

Spa, Massage (Michael +++) et le crémant comme bienvenue!

I understand the challenges involved when serving dinner during COVID times but it would have been nice if the starters and main course would have been served separately as the main course was cold when we had finished the amuse bouche (which was very nice though!) and the starter. The main course - cod and risotto cakes felt dry and not at all as nice as we would have expected, but maybe this was because of it having waited for us on the tray. (We had the dishes served separately at another hotel and it made a difference in the quality of the food!)

I liked absolutely everything. Location is perfect: Mullerthal region / little Switzerland. It's easy to get to the hotel - direct bus goes right from Luxembourg. Nice and friendly staff. Top-quality cousine. Nice spa. Very good noise insulation.

This was the perfect escape during COVID. I loved having the spa area almost to myself and then in the evening and mornings my food was brought to my room , such a treat to wear my dressing gown for the whole stay :) staff are very nice , spa is small but I love it. Beds are very comfy.

It is an old building so maybe a little old fashioned also not cheap but then again it is Luxembourg
