Is about 3 or 4 minutes walking from hotel to Masjid Zahir. From window can be seen Masjid Zahir, Dataran Alor Setar, Menara Alor Setar. Very near to Pekan Rabu. Easy to explain to the hailing driver the location as it is well known hotel. Breakfast is superb. Room service menu is good price. For lunch if to try nasi campur, there is, just behind the building, near to river. Delicous, clean and good price. For animal lovers, no need to bring cat's or dog's food because haven't seen any stray cats or dogs in that area.

Nothing. Everything is fine. Being grateful to have place to stay in Alor Setar.

Not putting a high expectation but overall it was a great experience. location was just opposite Pekan Rabu & lots of restaurant around the hotel. Food was ok since it was for sahur with not much of options provided. However taste wise is A-OK.

We did adjust the aircond setting which resulting the temperature was not cold, just a breeze. When we informed the reception during checkout they mentioned that it supposed to be a central setting, adjusting it will make the aircond not cold enough.

In the middle of the town. So very convenient to go around. Near Pekan Rabu.

The stairs to the lobby is a bit to high to climb. The owner should build a ramp so we can easily push our luggage instead of carrying them.

Convenient located literally in the middle of Alor Star. Easy to find and staff is friendly and helpful. Food us good

Room was comfortable . The only thing is they did not provide hair dryer especially for female guests like me. There was no bellboy to help us carry our luggage when we arrived and the staircase to the entrance is high and tiring to climb

Centre of alor star town, ample parking and nearby to attractions place

Difficult for elderly to access from open parking to hotel since only stairs available. HVAC systems partially functioning few times. Upgrading the infotainment should be execute since limited of channels.

Sufficient choice for breakfast. Not too much, not too little Location - walking distance to Alor Setar attractions - Pekan Rabu, Masjid Zahir, Dataran Alor Setar, Frame of Alor Setar, Shopping Mall.

Bathroom is small. but then don't spend too much time in the bathroom.

It is well situated in the city of Alor Setar with access to lots of eateries and minimal road traffic. Breakfast options are plenty, either in-house or at the covered food court behind the building. Bedding is comfortable, hot water is properly functioning and although the building is quite old, the elevator and interior finishing doesn't look worn-out.

It was very unfortunate that I travelled alone. Should have brought my family along and kill two birds with one stone.

I likes the showers mixer for hot and cold water. It's easy to use and I could get a nice warm water. Another one was the restaurant near the lobby. Prices were quite reasonable and give it a try with their 'nasi goreng cakar rhimau.' The grilled lamb was fantastic. If you wish to explore Alor Setar city centre on foot, this hotel should be your base.

The hotel was quite old and the room a bit small. Again the furniture in the room were ageing. But considering it's a 3 star hotel, I'm okay with it. Another concern for me was the parking space. As the hotel is smacked in the city centre, they only have a dedicated open parking space in front of the hotel. In fact there are 2 - 3 other hotels around it, so you could imagine all the guests rushing to secure a parking lot. I went there during weekdays where there were quite a number of meetings held there. My advised is to arrive at the hotel after 7pm, where there should be ample vacant lots.

Even though the room are old and rusty, it is complete! there is small fridge, iron and iron board inside and all the basic amenities are provided. I love the cleanliness of the bathroom too. The breakfast is superb. Really really worth the money.

Not for those who are petty. The room furniture are old, the room space also quite cramp.

hotel staff were very friendly. fast check in process. sahur spread was ok not many choices. breakfast spread on 1st raya was very good and a lot of choices. the hotel located in the centre of alor star. the feeling is like staying at jalan TAR, KL with Kamdar store, gold store, clothing store around the hotel😄

telephone in our room was not working. such a hassle to call receptionist to request anything such as extra laundry beg.
