All up this was a mad night, though the madness was not related to this hotel. We had booked at nearby Casa Venicia through Booking.com but the host literally made no contact nor responded to any. We stood at the apartment for hours trying to get access and then left because we were meeting friends in KL that night who we had not seen for years. After many calls to Booking.com they refunded Casa Venecia. In the meantime I did a very late night booking for Super Oyo and thankfully they were able to take us in around midnight. So thanks to these guys for letting us in. The room with two bedrooms was huge so fine for my family, and the fridge was helpful. The decor was quite unusual with pebble-dash sink surfaces and green painted concrete leaves on the floor. Someone got carried away with some unnecessary additions. All up, a large, property with reasonable facilities and near to Batu Caves. One of few places also in the Rawang area.

Because we arrived late at night, the main carpark entrance gates were closed so we literally could not find the place. We drove around a lot and eventually I parked in the nearby food court and walked around until I finally found the entrance, which, in the night, is only accessible via the food court, but it did take a while. Might be good to have that gate sign lit up and more visible as I think the gates close at 11pm or around that time. I also recommend you don't taunt the monkeys. There are quite a few outside on the balcony and when I arrived with the shopping I foolishly threw a pice of bread for the boss monkey. While video recording he dashed for my shopping bag and grabbed the whole loaf which he took to the roof top and shared with about 10 other monkeys. Did make great filming though. Would be nice for the girls on reception to smile a little more, guests usually like that.

Tidiness of room

Air cond not cold enough.

Room water heater no working.... Shower with cool water at night.

The price is quite reasonable. The room was just fine, nothing much to say. But at least the room was clean and decent.

The room can be a bit hot because the AC doesn't seem to cool the room enough. The corridor or walkway are dirty, cluttered, and unpleasant.

The wide space.

The stairs. Not suitable for those who bring a lot of bags. We have to climb the stairs. Not suitable for the old folks who have knee problem. No lifts. Sometimes have to wait for the receptionist. The front table not always has people. You have to call them. Luckily, the phone number to be call is there.
