The location is fantastic, right in the middle of historic Georgetown and walkable distance to all the major attractions. There are plenty of restaurants and cafe just at the doorstep. The property is beautifully restored and having a pool is a bonus. There is complimentary tea and some nyonya kuih every afternoon. It is relatively quiet and tranquil within the property, despite it's location. Friendly and accomodating staff.

Two things could be improved on. The shower area is enclosed in glass on 3 sides but this meant that water will still flow out while showering, causing the toilet and sink area to be wet, making it quite unpleasant. Also the holders for the shower toiletries are located outside of the glass, which makes it not easily reachable. Secondly, there are a lot of pigeons in the property, and each morning it is normal to find a lot of pigeon droppings and feathers in front of the room.

Great individual accommodation with historical flair in the middle of the World Heritage area. At the reception we received a lot of recommendations and information. The room on two levels was huge and quiet although it was on the street side. The facility consists exclusively of special historical pieces. The bathroom with a large rain shower was very spacious and inviting. Afternoons by the pool and in the lounge with complementary afternoon tea were lovely too. I wish there were more hotel projects like this in the world.

Location was so central and a couple minutes walk from shops, food, everything you need. the best thing is that the place is still so quiet despite how central it is. Also nice how it was 2 levels in the room, it felt like an apartment and the balcony was rlly private and quiet and a great place to sunbathe. The pool was nice for a rest too!

The shower was a bit random, it was beautiful and spacious however very impractical as water floods the entire bathroom.

George Town has a great many charming, colonial-era buildings like the ones which this hotel occupies. Many of them are, however, in a state of considerable decrepitude. The fact that this hotel exists on lovingly renovated premises not only offers visitors a truly unique stay, it also constitutes a contribution to maintaining and improving George Town's unique environment. The evocative architectural elegance was a big reason we chose this hotel, but the choice was confirmed by a number of other positives. The staff were incredibly helpful and informative; the location made getting around very easy; despite being very centrally located, it was on a very quiet street; and our room was much larger and more comfortable than we had anticipated or hoped. One of the highlights was the hotel's restaurant, Kebaya, which supplied us with a superb meal and excellent service.

Any effort to retrofit modern comforts into a building of this age will inevitably result in quirks, such as a decidedly odd (but still entirely functional) layout in the bathroom. I considered this a good trade-off for a stay in an historic building with such a lovely period vibe, but travelers whose tastes run to the sterile uniformity of a Hilton or a Hyatt may take a different view.

This is my second time staying at this facility, this time around with my parents. As always, the property is a good place to stay, the front desk staff is very friendly, gives relevant information about the surrounding area and the room service staff are very helpful. All in all a great place to stay.

The pigeons, the are making a mess on the property, I would suggest to put on the net at the top to avoid them coming in. It painful to see the folks cleaning it every few hours.

room was big and spacious, got a nice living area/shower area on the ground floor, bedroom was upstairs with an outdoor shower and covered toilet, lovely balcony, comfortable big bed, location was amazing as it is in the Center of Georgetown, staff were all professional, helpful and informative, we had an amazing stay!

We stayed with our family of 2 teenagers and enjoyed exploring Penang together. My father in law was from George Town so staying in Seven Terraces brings us closer to the culture at a time. Location is amazing right in the centre and bustle of the city yet the rooms are quiet.

The pool is a bit small not suitable for small kids.

For our taste was the breakfast really very basic. Nespresso Coffee and just 4 breakast choices. Even we paid for breakfast, we went for breakfast to other places in town. I would not book anymore with breakfast included. Maybe they change in the furture. Breakfast was the only thing we did not like, everything else is just perfect.

A lovely and wonderful experience staying in such a beautiful heritage hotel. It gave us a Peranakan feel and we were made to feel at home while staying there. The staff were very attentive towards our needs. From the start of our stay till the end. Staff knows who their guests were and pay close attention to each guest.
