Environment

Good location, opposite Imago mall. Very convenient- All sorts of cafe/ restaurant/ convenient store on site. Room is compact, with basic amenities. Bed is comfortable. Helpful and kind front desk. 5- 10 mins drive from airport and 10 mins drive to the city centre. Our toilet drainage was blocked on the 1st night, however with the help of great housekeeping team, the issue had been handled on promptly- good job.

It doesn't have a grand hotel lobby, reception is not at the ground floor, which you have to go through a staircase alley to get to the lift. No onsite restaurant/ breakfast.

Harper Hotel is located at Sutera Avenue, a complex hosting stores, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. This means, everything you need to have is just a couple of minutes by foot away. Imago Mall is well in walking distance. The rooms are modern and clean.

FYI: There is a nightclub in the same building as the hotel. The hotel informs you about this very nicely and even with a follow-up message. Do not underestimate the noise and the vibrations. If you are a quick and deep sleeper, however, you will be awarded with a nice and modern room. Downtown KK is quite far away, I recommend getting a Taxi/Grab.

- good location, located near to many places we wanted to visit - very nice hospitality. they provided earplugs as there is a night club in the same building. - complete necessities, they have iron board ready in the room so no need to ask from the reception. - got netflix which is a bonus

- it’s not really a big deal, but you have to walk a bit from parking lot at the basement to the main floor and then took another lift to get to the reception floor which is on the 4th. If you have many luggages, it’s wise to drop it off first in front of the building before park you car.

The hotel is really clean and the housekeeping done was really good. The amenities is really good over there. The staffs are really friendly and really helpful during our stay. The hotel environment as well was really clean and comfortable. The management is really maintaining a really good ambiance over here. Would give a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 start for overall service.

The only disadvantage is the noise from the higher floor club.The noise is really really loud. Especially a residential area like this, the club should be more considerate to do a sound proof wall to keep the place more calm and quiet during the night. Would be more better for the hotel if they can take this into consideration and seek for the club management to do something about this or involvement of authority of required to solve this issue. Only this thing a issue there. Hope this thing can be resolved soon so that other customers can enjoy the night peacefully during their stay.

BEST 2 NIGHTS after tiring few days trip to Kundasang. We checked in at 11.30pm as the OTHER hotel that I booked 2 weeks earlier was not as good as its advertisement (not gonna rant here) Thank god I found Harper. Good location as its walkable to the popular shopping mall. lots of good restaurants/ cafes/ minimarts. Room has Netflix. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Receptionist was very thoughtful and helpful too.

Not for light sleeper as night club is right on top but to me the comfy bed compensate it. My kids and I slept soundly without earplugs😁 which they provide as well.

Modern deco. Safe area of Sutera Avenue. Friendly staff. Complete room facilities including iron, and towels.

I was on the 6th floor. The club is on the 11th floor. This has been informed much earlier before booking on booking site and right after booking via WhatsApp. But I could still feel the beat of the music and hear the faint sound of the music from my room. Ok for me even without the earplugs, but probably not for light sleeper who prefers not to use earplugs.

Location-wise, plenty restaurants downstairs, breakfast cafes that opens early and closes late, 24/7 convenient stores. 5 minutes walk to Imago and Riverson. Access to room hallways felt secured using card entry.

Top floor got night bar, expect weekend minor loud music to be heard. Noises were tolerable, just be ready to those want to bring their infants or toddlers. Some amenities should be made available such as room tissues.

it’s really nice and neat. place is great as it is in kk city centre. kkcity best club is also just at the 11th floor. u can party and just walk back after. it’s noisy at night in the room but they inform earlier and provided earbuds. my fav abt the place is the lobby, so peaceful and relaxing.

I’m not sure if it’s normal but one of the housekeeping staff accidentally stormed in while me and my partner was still in bed. Maybe I should’ve put the DND sign next time.

I like how the bed was clean. And even tho there are some work need to be done to the room and i could not be there, the staff handled it very well and make sure to tidied up the room once finished and my belongings werw untouched.

The lift that suddenly broke down at night. I was having a hard time walking up those creepy stairs. Maybe the management should fix the lights on the stairs at least because seriously climbing up to 7th floor was exhausting & scary. Hopefully the lift problem has been resolved because as a woman n a solo traveller, that could be red flag for us as anything can happen.
