Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu

I like the room the location and the service they provided to guests. The security also autstanding. Me and my family are grateful for the service. The view are stunning.! The staff are nice and helpful.

The room. I payed is for two people, the price are for 2 also for breakfast. But the staff said i have to pay becaise my booking are just for one guest. I check the price in booking. Com. Apparently its the same prize. Nevertheles i comply with their terms... Other that that. Its fine.

Cleanliness n friendly staff

Staff were a bit chaotic during breakfast at the cafe. Tables were cleared when guests went for seconds, even though cups n glasses were full. Guests returned only to find their table already occupied

the room was cozy and comfortable hotel lobby was big and nice the location very near to the airport the food was okay there is live band at the lobby and we enjoy the show

at first they give uncomfortable room due to high occupancy, that room is totally out which is you need special card to switch on the electric. however, manage to change new room.

The location of the hotel near to all of the points of interest such as Pasar Besar Kota Kinabalu, Anjung Senja, Todak Waterfront, KK Night Market within the city center were fantastic, lot of nearby walking distance mall surround the hotel, ample parking space for the hotel guests. The breakfast was good mix of continental and local cuisine. The room was amazing, updated and not obsolete , very well maintained facilities in the room. The view from room was magnificent and mesmerizing. Moreover, it was easy to get any Grab e-hailing car at any time and bataras convenience store to supplicate your needs besides the hotel definitely added plus points!

We had a junior suite (6th floor) which was spacious and extremely comfortable, much better than expected. The harbour view from our room was superb, and lovely large well-fitted out bathroom. The lifts were fast and very little waiting, unlike some other places we've stayed. Lots of local eateries within a short walk.

Disappointed to find the pool closed for six months - probably wouldn't have booked if we'd known, but wasn't actually a problem. The dining room at night was very impersonal, and we were surprised that the bar was closed on Tuesday nights. Initial check-in was slow (waited over 15 minutes to get to the counter).

Facilities are good. Breakfast also nice. The view is just so so. (I paid for the view ... sob sob) But, the staff are super nice, helpful and friendly. 100 stars for them.

I booked for 3 days 2 nights and have to extend another night as my flight is postponed. There is a foul smell which I think coming from the carpet the moment I enter the room. And of all time, the electricity cut out right after I extend my stay. Although not taking too much time to fixed, still..... I regret not asking for a different room when I have to extend my stay.

I was experience to havea breakfast was good and cleanease also good if can someone need to standby at hostess desk to able people want to register the room no without waiting, if possible putmorre variety food and more crew atnoodle bar so guest not waiting so long to wait one crew is done with omelette station..

So far all good meet my expectations all good and room was comfortable to stay.. In future I want to stay or recommend to my friend to stay at hotel promenade hotel again..

We got exactly the room that we booked - clear view of the sea

The bath towel smells a little bit damp. For the egg station, there should be a menu list of what's available because only fried eggs were served on the tray. When we asked for half-boiled eggs, the chef asked us to wait but then a guest just took the readily available half-boiled eggs at the side which we we don't know the eggs are already cooked since there's no information.

Buffet breakfast had a great variety and was replenished quickly. I hope next time the tables were set with utensils so I don't have to go looking for them.

The bathtub was very hard to get in and out of. It's quite high/tall and it was quite slippery and difficult to safely get out once the tub was wet.

I love the location. Its like at the centre of KK. There's a good place just walking distance. Lot of public transport and easy access to the airport.

The food is okay, but its so limited. For such a good hotel, the food is also what tourist, or customer really looking forward to. But its sad the food choice is limited. Also, when customer have special request, I think its the hotel responsibility to reply and give reasoning if they can't provide it.
