The staff at this hotel are amazing and go above and beyond to assist your needs and ensure you have a great time whilst there.

There are 2 pools at this resort. If you book accommodation in the Garden Wing, you cannot use the pool in the Ocean Wing, however the Ocean Wing has the run of both pools. The pool by the Garden Wing caters to families and kids and can be quite nosiy plus they take up the lounge chairs whereas the Ocean Wing is better for those who prefer to have some quiet time. Be warned this won't be possible if you book the Garden Wing.

It was a luxurious experience- especially as we'd just come from the jungle! Bedding/ pillows- superb! Spaciousness of room excellent in the Ocean Wing garden. The staff were very helpful though we struggled to get through to room service/ reception on the phone. The food on the Malay night was superb as were the staff! Isaac was so sweet and bothered to write us a note with illustrations! Wow! Teppanyaki was also good! Breakfast was superb in terms of choice/ comfort. The chicken noodle soup was excellent! The sunbeds were so comfy and plentiful. suggestion - there were so many children in the adult pool and jacuzzi this was off putting given that they had their own pools! Think there needs to be more enforcement here to abide by the rules clearly displayed everywhere! Ie - children under 12 not allowed- they were in there ( some very young) and being loud! The reason we chose Ocean Wing was to avoid this. Overall a lovely experience in a superb hotel. Sunset at the beach - off the chart! Better than any sunsets experienced anywhere else!

Children being allowed in places that clearly specified they were not allowed. Having children ourselves now grown up - we would have adhered to the rules - we feel the hotel should enforce this as it is their policy and there are pools for children!

The hotel room is clean, tidy, and the dried fruit bag is a kind touch. Staff was helpful and kind. I am very disappointed that it took 45 minutes to Check-In, my mother is 76 years old and kept waiting for so long, but no apology was received. The location was superb, and the variety of food, including at breakfast at the hotel restaurant, was amazing and tasty. Thank you.

The 45 minute wait at the Reception with no apology or explanation. It was NOT a good start to our vacations.

There is nothing we didn't like about this hotel. The staff are very attentive and polite. The location is perfect. It is far from the city which we really appreciated. There is a huge beach and even a nature reserve in the hotel. They provide a lot of activities such as fireflies watching, horse riding, water sports, evening performance etc. There is a choice of several restaurants in the hotel. The buffet breakfast is great and the sunsets are breathtaking. We enjoyed both pools and our kids loved the bath tub on the balcony. We didn't mind aging furniture because the room was comfortable.

The only thing we missed was indoor playground for the kids.

My family enjoyed our stay very much, the garden wing family room is well maintained n my boys love all the activities they did at the resort, it's a pity they didn't have time for all. We did Atv, horse riding, jet ski, rock climbing, cycling to crocodile farm, traditional fishing, firefly tour & played golf too. The Sunrise walk to view Mt Kinabalu was spectacular n we are so glad we did it! At night there's Firefly tour n even Night vision walk or Ktv in private room! The whole resort is very beautiful with lovely landscape & great pools you have too. All the staff are very friendly & helpful during our stay. The Whatsapp service is excellent as we can contact the hotel anytime, anywhere if we required anything!

The lights at balcony is dim at night , should be brighter especially is L shape, at the other end is quite dark..difficult to see when hanging our clothes.

This is an exceptional hotel. The setting is beautiful, and the rooms and guest areas are very well appointed. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, even helping us to book a snorkeling trip at very short notice. The hotel also has a large number of daily activities including walks into the Rasa Ria jungle reserve with the hotels rangers. We can fully recommend a stay here!

Unfortuately we couldn't swim in the sea during our visit because of jellyfish, but the hotel's swimming pools more than made up for this.

Beautiful hotel and facilities with staff always smiling and helpful. Very good breakfast and dinner buffet. The hotel is in a quiet area and a bit far from the city but you can find everything in the hotel (even some medicine) and they organise a lot of activities from the hotel such as kayaking in the mangrove, fireflies watching and even guided nature walks in the reserve. The kids also loved the hotel in particular the swimming pool, the game area and the breakfast buffet.

Free shuttles to 2 shopping malls in the city center but not to the airport. No kids bike for bicycle tour activities so we organised through an external company. I'm not really sure what is supposed to be covered under the half board package so wouldn't recommend this option as it caused much confusion. We were initially told only additional beverages on dinner buffet will be charged but at checkout they told us kid's were not included for dinner, only for breakfast. None of this is mentioned anywhere on the booking.com. We eventually explained the situation and the staff kindly fixed the bill for us.

The breakfast was good and with many selections. We also tried two other restaurants in the resort, the food was awesome and delicate, but the prices seemed to be a lot more expensive than the prices outside the resort in Malaysia. They have a very good selection of watersport activities, but you have to go to the watersports center in order to see them all. Many of them are not advertised in the hotel building. We did appreciate the surfing instructor. We had a good day at the beach.

The resort offered many charged walking tours within the resort, but we expected the walking trails should be included in the resort facilities. It's a pity everything they proposed to the customers has to pay extra, except the swimming pool. Maybe that's also the reason most of the customers are in the swimming pool. The trail from the discovery center to the main building is very dark at night. There are lamps, but they are turned off for some reason. Therefore, most of the customers can only stay in the building, instead of strolling around the resort.

Spacious room, staff prepared sofa bed for my toddler upon arrival, good breakfast and dinner buffet spread, plenty of activities, large beach

Bug spray is a must due to sandflies at the beach (no fault of the resort), never received WhatsApp communication which was mentioned at check-in, late night room service options (10.00pm+) would be useful for late arrivals due to distance from town center

Service staff were excellent, friendly and well-trained.

We stayed in a junior suite and it was a tad run down. The private pool tiles at the balcony was stained, and didn't look clean enough to soak in. Room had a funky smell when we first got in, but thankfully it dissipated quickly.
