Service was really good, the staff was really friendly. We had an unexpected guest in our room which was promptly taken care of by the staff and when we were abit lost navigating our surroundings, they were also very helpful in showing us the way. Rooms are huge and the free snacks and drinks are definitely a plus!

There isn't any view from the hotel but the beach isn't too far away. We were greeted by a rather huge cockroach in the room, perhaps some pest control is required since guests are allowed to cook in the apartments. The air conditioning in the bedroom was abit noisy, making it a little difficult to sleep.

Not an overly friendly welcome and having to wait around at check out for a room check to be carried out. Plus, informed that rm200 deposit taken at check-in will take up to 14 working days to refund on CC. Not an issue with the amount, but the longest refund timeframe we have ever encountered....WHY??

Nice place to stay. Close to the airport. Easy to find local foods for dinner.

Seriously, the breakfast options need to be improved. There were only 3 options of breakfast packs - Nasi Lemak (just nasi lemak kosong), English Breakfast (scrambled egg, few slices of white bread, red beans and chili sauce), and Roti Pratha with Curry. During check-in, we were informed that they do not have a restaurant and guests need to choose the options given. If you want to attract visitors to stay, breakfast is an important thing.

Since I was not able to attend my niece's wedding, my niece stayed two nights at this hotel with her husband. I got in touch with the hotel through the message provided here, and surprisingly, they responded right away. I found their level of professionalism in handling all my queries to be impressive. My niece and her husband were able to check in without any difficulty. The hotel put together a free swan decoration for them, which was a really nice touch. My niece and her husband had a pleasant stay with them and she mentioned that the rooftop pool was a pleasant place to watch the aircraft take off and land.

I like the location and the price. The space is also big for my 1 year old to roam around the apartment, which is very nice. The swimming pool is nice as it is overlooking the flights landing at the runway. Overall satisfied.

I had a hard time looking for parking especially, there was an event during that one night, so the parking was full. Furthermore, i was using Jeep Grand Cherokee, so i was not allowed to use the automated parking since they were afraid that my car could not fit in the automated parking. I think, staying guests should be prioritised over guests coming over for a function.

Your room was big spaceous and beautiful, love the view from the pool. Overall Aru Suite room and pool is Excellent however for others (Breakfast, Housekeeping) left little to be desired.

Frankly, me and my spouse was quite dissapointed greatly with the breakfast packs. In terms of taste, portion, and generally the whole pack food is really not applicable. Should consider of having a breakfast buffet for us customers. However, in the adv i thought allowed to cook, there was utensils and other facilities for cooking but no stove? i am a bit confuse by it. And there was literally no room service for the 4 days we stayed, i had to call up everyday to ask for new towels, refill of teabags, shampoo, conditioner bottles were empty since day 1 we arrived, there was no refill at all. Dissapointed at that too. Breakfast matters & Housekeeping needs improvement

Room was immaculate, extremely spacious and comfortable. Lovely rooftop pool. The pool was busy but there was a lovely atmosphere. Gym space for workouts. Great value for money. Very good location in relation to the airport. Easy to check in straight away when we arrived around 2-3am. Town is only a Grab Taxi ride away. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was brought to the room in a plastic box and was of poor quality unfortunately. I appreciate it is difficult to manage this currently as the hotel isn't fully complete yet with no restaurant. Very expensive and complex laundry service meaning we had to search for an alternative company in town.

The room was particularly large and well appointed. Plenty of toiletries and bath towels. I only spent a few hours at the hotel after a long plane journey, so a comfortable bed was very welcome. Check in and out was fast and efficient. The hotel is very close to the airport, probably only a 5-10 minute taxi ride. Good value for the quality of room provided.

Breakfast is served in the room, airline style. This is fine, however the choice, quantity and quality leaves a lot to be desired. You are well from the city centre, so this accommodation is probably best suited for a relatively short, albeit comfortable stay.

Stay was for an overnight between two flights at Kota Kinabalu airport. Location is perfect, close to the airport for short transport, particularly useful for an early morning departure. Room with balcony was very spacious. Gym was adequate although bikes needed an overhaul. The swimming pool is amazing with a view of the airfield if that is what you are into!

Eating options immediately around the hotel are limited. Cannot comment on breakfast since checked out too early to test the delivery arrangement since there is no on site restaurant. Something I could live with but you need to be aware of. Security deposit required - not happy that this can at least 2 weeks to be credited back to me. Those words used to me at check in and check out and argued about on both occasions! So the hotel cannot deny this is their arrangement.

the room was huge, very clean, modern & had a nice little kitchen as well. the bed was very comfortable & the block out curtains worked well too. Hotel staff were very helpful & friendly. The hotel is close to the airport (you can watch the planes landing & taking off from the beautiful rooftop pool) so it’s great if you want to leave early or arrive late but maybe not so we’ll-suited if you want to be within walking distance to the downtown area (this is just a 15 minute RM6-9 Grab fare away however).

While there is a gym, it was under renovation when I was there so only had 2 treadmills, 2 bikes & a few dumbbells so it’s very limited …. plus it’s not air conditioned so the only time you can realistically use it is first thing in the morning. The mini-bar in the room is very limited, although you can request more items be sent up. As there’s no restaurant in the hotel, you need to order everything via Grab … not a major inconvenience but you need to be a bit more organised when you want some food. Being so close to the airport, you do hear a little noise when the aircraft take-off, though it wasn’t particularly noticeable for me.
