Beautiful site, pond and pool. Very tranquil and beautiful. Food was excellent and authentically local.

The resort is situated in a developing area, with construction all around. You need to get a ride everywhere or do a 40-minute walk to the town. This is all fine except that the description did not say this, in fact it stated beach access which is almost 1h walk. The restaurant was not open for dinner, which was inconvenient as there were no other options in the area. It opened a 1pm and last order by 4.30 pm. The website states full dinner service which we found not accurate. The food was delicious and it is a shame that they don't have it open. We saw several guests being sent away, including ourselves, during our 5 day stay, because they did not want to have the restaurant open. They definitely miss out on a lot of business this way.

When the cleaners came in to clean the room was great however, when they came in they left the door open a lot and they also left lots of the windows open, this meant that not only does the heat get into the room so when we come back it would be hot but it also let in bugs! We had to kill many cockroaches and they were crawling all over the floor!

These heritage villas are super great! It's living like the Malayans in the past. The flats are well equipped, the pool is extraordinary, it's swimming in a pond with see roses, the staff is super nice, and the kitchen to eat there is just awesome. I can just recommend this hotel - it's really a great experience!

The property offers stay in original malaysian style - it offers of chalets in different size and a main building with excellent restaurant and even more excellent pool placed in a lake with see rose. This is the real highlight of the property! i recommend this property to everybody who prefers something exceptional and familiar to a standard “no name” hotel. Staff is very carrying, food and drinks in restaurant are excellent - which is the sane as anywhere in Malaysia. we enjoyed our stay here (8 days) a lot!

property is a bit too far from the center of action and also from the beach - you need to take a taxi. this is however not a problem in malaysia with a “grab service” - it costs only around 8RM (less than 2 eur) to get to the center of Chenang - it is about 10min drive. also property is located close to the airport - which is however also hot a big issue as there are only about 10 flights a day and especially kids enjoyed a lot watching the airplanes. on the other hand you can reach the airport very fast.

Staying here was amazing. We fled to this hotel after a terrible experience with an apartment we had originally booked. Although we arrived too early to check in, the staff kindly allowed us to store our luggage in the lobby and gave us a very warm welcome. The staff is fantastic—they wait until we wake up to clean the room instead of leaving. We also received lots of great tips on what to do, and they were truly helpful suggestions. The rooms were super clean, and this is one of the few hotels where I actually slept well. I was a bit worried about insects, but we hardly saw any. The unique aspect is that it's like staying in a treehouse, which adds to the charm. If I come back next time, I'll definitely stay here again.

The interiors are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the local culture without sacrificing convenience or style. Moreover, the food is absolutely delicious and prepared with great care. Every meal is a delightful experience, showcasing the rich flavors and culinary traditions of the region. I highly recommend these villas for anyone looking to experience the genuine charm of Langkawi. The combination of traditional design, warm hospitality, delectable cuisine, and modern comforts makes for an unforgettable stay.

The very friendly and helpful staff. My daughter was sick and they really tried to help us out by bringing special things like coconut milk and soup. On top of that the villas were superb, spacious and gave a real jungle experience.

The accommodation was very pleasant and cozy, with a beautiful setting that was perfect for relaxation. The staff was great – always helpful and friendly. The only downside might be the distance from the city center, but this can actually be an advantage for those looking for peace and quiet. Overall, we were very satisfied and would gladly return

The only negative experience was the food selection. The food itself was good, but the menu was very limited, which was a bit disappointing. Both the breakfast and à la carte options could benefit from a wider variety.

The rooms are very beautiful and the location make you feel so disconnected from the hassle of the city. It seemed isolated but we were getting grabs within less than 5 min and the city is not that far, we even walked 15 min across the beautiful plantations

They don’t refill the coffee until you ask them for, even though we had no coffee the third day, I had to ask to get it refilled, the toiletries also, didn’t find any in the room so I had to ask for a toothbrush and since there is no phone in the room, had to walk to the reception. The cleaners start early and they talk a lot and make noise while working, the place is so peaceful and should be like a retreat, the management shall ask them to work quietly.

This was a such a beautiful place to stay! They've perfected what you would expect from a secluded, traditional island paradise. Vibe: small, intimate and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt really private as each villa was raised from the path and surrounded by plants. There are only 20 villas so you only ever encountered a few people at breakfast and the pool. The lobby and restaurant were in a beautiful, large, wooden bungalow and overlooked that stunning sunken pool that's surrounded by lotuses that flower most of the year round! Villas: these were stunning! Spacious with high ceilings and multiple windows to open and look out over the greenery. There were fans and good cross breezes so during the day you could open all the windows and sit back and enjoy the view, then at night close them up and use the air con. All the gaps between the wood had insect mesh and the large bed had a big mesh net to surround it. Recommend wearing their cute dressing gowns when using the outdoor bathroom to avoid being bitten during a midnight toilet break though! When choosing a villa, the pool/lake front villas don't actually have views of the water due to all the trees so the villas in the back row were actually my favourite as they were more private. Food: incredible, give that chef a raise! A wide array of options at the buffet breakfast with some basic western options (toast, spreads, and some people ordered scrambled eggs) but mostly delicious Malaysian food: nasi lemak, curries with roti or pancakes, samosas, curry puffs and dumplings, a noodle soup option with diy accompaniments, and a range of sweets and fresh fruits. The a la carte lunch menu was also excellent for the days you want to spend relaxing around the villas and pool, but they're huge servings! They also made delicious juices and smoothies that were perfect to sip on the sun beds overlooking the pool.
