There is an annoying bird in the island that does not allow you to rest or sleep properly every night, as it screams all the time...! The management should do something about it, URGENTLY Prices for food and beverage in restaurants are hugely expensive...!! Restaurant bills are never less then $400, for 2 persons Beverage Portions at the Bar are very small and expensive...!! 1 whisky 4cl-$40 In one of the 3 restaurants should serve a daily buffet for dinner at reasonable price

This is the first place I have ever been where the pictures on the internet fell utterly short of conveying how incredible a place was. Normally photos are much better than reality. Snorkeling using complimentary equipment was incredible.

It would have been better to book just breakfast and pay additionally for dinner each night. It was not possible to modify this once we found this to be the case.

Once again, the whole team at Baros Maldives made my third stay incredibly memorable, from the Front Office team to F&B, Kitchen, the Spa, and most importantly the Dive Centre as I spent most of my time on the boat diving. Here is a summary of my experience per department: Front Office: Domi was in touch with me a week before my arrival to make sure all my pre arrival questions were answered. She was very prompt and friendly and remembered me from my last stay in 2019. Azzam (And Maashiq who covered when Azzam was off) were my villa hosts. They were so quick in responding to my questions and booking requests. They were also diligent in sharing any updates about booking changes that I needed to know of which was really professional. There was a Gecko in my room on the second last night, and Azzam really did his best and sent some team members who tried to remove the gecko, and when they weren’t able to get rid of it, Azzam offered me a different room so I could feel comfortable, and I did. The second room was great and I didn’t see or hear any Geckos there. Well done team for your collaboration and professionalism. F&B and Kitchen: Breakfast at Lime was flawless. Dinner in Cayenne was the DREAM, and drinks at Sails bar were great. Service was smooth, everyone without exception was super friendly and professional including Afa(remembered her from my last stay), Peter, and everyone else. The food quality is unmatchable on top of the genuinely warm service. “No” is not an answer that you hear, the staff always try to accommodate your requests as much as possible which is what I love. Even in case of mistakes (like wrong orders) colleagues would own it and apologize sincerely and the rectification was made immediately. A big shout out to Chef Mousa for facilitating a super fun and informative cooking class for me on the day of my arrival. I really enjoyed his company and loved cooking with him. He’s very knowledgeable and talented!

Nothing I didn’t like .. only suggestion is to add more variety to the activities and excursions offered. Example: parasailing will be really fun!

The staff are very friendly and professional . The rooms are exceptional as well . I tried both deluxe villa and over the water villa with pool . Both are very clean , relaxing and provide different experiences. Also i have to say the spa was amazing , staff are very proper and relaxing . The snorkeling was very nice and saw few sharks and stingrays , sadly missed the turtles

There should be more towels available considering most activities are water based . They were deliverer fast but it would have been better to have them on hand to start with

Incredibly beautiful island and resort. Hospitality at the highest level, staff very helpful and nice. Restaurant food is delicious, breakfast combination of buffet and choice from menu provide a rich culinary experience. Villa with swimming pool is spaciuous and with all needed facilities. Definitly it is place for perfect holiday to feel luxury and special.

Even if try to write something, nothing comes to my mind. Simply nothing to complain about

The cost of food and wine is very very high

It was a nice visit for a short brake. Teppenyaki was very good.

Baros has some discounts for remarkable expenses. But unfortunately, if you book through booking.com; you can not use these discounts and/or offers.

My stay at Baros was just terrific. And if something was not perfect, an amazing staff went above and beyond to solve it. Don’t think twice and book this place.

F&B was excellent but a bit overpriced

Everything! 1) The location is great, only 25 min by boat to the island from Male. 2) House reed is amazing, so much ocean life! We saw eagle ray, octopus, reef sharks, all sort of fish at the house reef. 3) Snorkeling mask and flippers provided for the duration of the trip. 4) Over water villas have great view without any obstacles. 5) Auchan and Henry from diving center are great, they are taking great pictures during snorkeling trips. 6) Good choose of trips to see other sports where turtles and sting rays are, dolphin watching etc. 7) Vishan took a good care of us during the stay, we had nothing to worry about! We got so relaxed that completely forgot that we had to fill in departure forms and do PCR test. PCR test was arranged on a short notice and Vishan kindly filled in the departure forms for us. 8) Food was great 9) Service was great

On your arrival, you get assigned a personalised villa manager which will take care of everything for you. You can ask whatever you need and they will make it happen. In less than 24 hours, Azzam (our villa Manager) organised a romantic dinner, spa treatment for my wife, filled out our covid form, etc. We didn’t like the location of our private dinner on the beach so he apologised, offered free mocktail and found a better location in only 15 minutes (you can just call him on whatsapp). Everybody is extremely friendly and the breakfast is just breathtaking. Your room/villa is cleaned twice a day. Finally you have full privacy in your private pool on the terrasse which is ideal for couples.

The quality has a price so the resort is relatively expensive
