This is the first place I have ever been where the pictures on the internet fell utterly short of conveying how incredible a place was. Normally photos are much better than reality. Snorkeling using complimentary equipment was incredible.

It would have been better to book just breakfast and pay additionally for dinner each night. It was not possible to modify this once we found this to be the case.

There is an annoying bird in the island that does not allow you to rest or sleep properly every night, as it screams all the time...! The management should do something about it, URGENTLY Prices for food and beverage in restaurants are hugely expensive...!! Restaurant bills are never less then $400, for 2 persons Beverage Portions at the Bar are very small and expensive...!! 1 whisky 4cl-$40 In one of the 3 restaurants should serve a daily buffet for dinner at reasonable price

Once again, the whole team at Baros Maldives made my third stay incredibly memorable, from the Front Office team to F&B, Kitchen, the Spa, and most importantly the Dive Centre as I spent most of my time on the boat diving. Here is a summary of my experience per department: Front Office: Domi was in touch with me a week before my arrival to make sure all my pre arrival questions were answered. She was very prompt and friendly and remembered me from my last stay in 2019. Azzam (And Maashiq who covered when Azzam was off) were my villa hosts. They were so quick in responding to my questions and booking requests. They were also diligent in sharing any updates about booking changes that I needed to know of which was really professional. There was a Gecko in my room on the second last night, and Azzam really did his best and sent some team members who tried to remove the gecko, and when they weren’t able to get rid of it, Azzam offered me a different room so I could feel comfortable, and I did. The second room was great and I didn’t see or hear any Geckos there. Well done team for your collaboration and professionalism. F&B and Kitchen: Breakfast at Lime was flawless. Dinner in Cayenne was the DREAM, and drinks at Sails bar were great. Service was smooth, everyone without exception was super friendly and professional including Afa(remembered her from my last stay), Peter, and everyone else. The food quality is unmatchable on top of the genuinely warm service. “No” is not an answer that you hear, the staff always try to accommodate your requests as much as possible which is what I love. Even in case of mistakes (like wrong orders) colleagues would own it and apologize sincerely and the rectification was made immediately. A big shout out to Chef Mousa for facilitating a super fun and informative cooking class for me on the day of my arrival. I really enjoyed his company and loved cooking with him. He’s very knowledgeable and talented!

Nothing I didn’t like .. only suggestion is to add more variety to the activities and excursions offered. Example: parasailing will be really fun!

The staff are very friendly and professional . The rooms are exceptional as well . I tried both deluxe villa and over the water villa with pool . Both are very clean , relaxing and provide different experiences. Also i have to say the spa was amazing , staff are very proper and relaxing . The snorkeling was very nice and saw few sharks and stingrays , sadly missed the turtles

There should be more towels available considering most activities are water based . They were deliverer fast but it would have been better to have them on hand to start with

The cost of food and wine is very very high

Incredibly beautiful island and resort. Hospitality at the highest level, staff very helpful and nice. Restaurant food is delicious, breakfast combination of buffet and choice from menu provide a rich culinary experience. Villa with swimming pool is spaciuous and with all needed facilities. Definitly it is place for perfect holiday to feel luxury and special.

Even if try to write something, nothing comes to my mind. Simply nothing to complain about

My stay at Baros was just terrific. And if something was not perfect, an amazing staff went above and beyond to solve it. Don’t think twice and book this place.

F&B was excellent but a bit overpriced

It was a nice visit for a short brake. Teppenyaki was very good.

Baros has some discounts for remarkable expenses. But unfortunately, if you book through booking.com; you can not use these discounts and/or offers.

The time of the year was perfect for us. the weather was great and the hotel was very quite we a low number of guests. The resort has a perfect location just 20 min from the international airport. it’s a small and very cozy resort with amazing staff and the all service was perfect. The food is very good but be prepared for expensive food and drinks in the Maldives. The house reef is amazing for diving and the diving crew, specially Ali, our buddy diver, was a perfect instructor. Tholley, our personal assistant, always there to help us. The Baros Maldives was a perfect place for our honeymoon and we want to come back with our kids as son as all are old enough (above 8y only).

We had a fantastic diving vacation at Baros over 4th of July weekend. All of the staff were very helpful and went over and beyond their job roles to make our visit comfortable. Our villa was beautiful with a beach view and outdoor garden shower. One member of the resort staff (Sita) connected to us on WhatsApp and was always available to answer our questions and fulfill our requests. Our aim was to dive as much as possible, and we managed to squeeze 8 dives into 3 days. We saw practically everything you would hope to see: eels, sharks, turtles, rays. The currents were strong at times but the boat captains and dive masters expertly handled the changes in conditions. The diving staff (especially Ambra) were very helpful about setting up the gear, recommending weights, and checking our nitrox levels. Baros also has a great house reef and you can see a lot just snorkeling on it. I think this may be the best resort that we've ever stayed at!

Breakfast was amazing, but there weren't that many vegetarian selections on the menus for lunch and dinner. However all the food was excellent and the staff offered to cook us a custom meal.
