We were in Oblu in February 2025 - water villa (all inclusive) (602 -> terrace placed from bad side - sunsets and sunrise invisible... Better villas are 501-> right side, placed from sunrise side!) . Villa very comfortable - equipped with everything what you need - minibar (daily refilled), tea/coffee, terrace with ladder to the ocean, big smart TV, big and comfortable bed, bathroom "outside" (inside house but outside means that you see sky and ocean (see pictures) with very good cosmetics. Island is beautiful - big, nice and well planned. Electric buses available for anyone - from water villas you can go directly to restaurant or gym. Nice and big beach with lot of sunbeds, umbrellas (same on swimming pool). On swimming pool is loud music, beach is quitter. Beautiful sceneries, water and everything - classic Maldives but without reef (you can see baby shark and other fish but nearby restaurant - in water villas animals and fish are rare (unfortunately) Afternoon and evening nearby the bar is very loud - live music, karaoke etc till midnight. If you like calm evening, ask about villa away from bar. All inclusive package is nice but without "wow" effect - if you like sweet drinks, cocktails, good beers you will be satisfied (if you like good cognac/whisky - you need to pay for them additionally). Food in restaurant - delicious - international/Indian/Asian kitchens, lots of sweets, ice creams etc. - you will be heavier than before arrival:) Gym well equipped (trainer available) - sport shoes required. Flying the drones are possible but you need to respect privacy of other peoples! Most activities (jet sky, water restaurant etc) are additional pay and expensive. To make check-in you have to install Oblu application on you phone. In this app you can check prices and reserve activities Stuff are kind, helpful and professional. Free transfer from/to Male (speedboat).

Biggest problem is internet - WiFi available is all hotel areas (villas/rooms too) but speed of this internet is bad (in this price of night it is unacceptable)! Streaming (Netflix) is possible but with some breaks - this is irritating. Small numbers of fish/animals - no reef

Oblu is a wonderful mesmerizing resort island. The highlight of our trip was the staff. They were the friendliest, caring people we have met. From housekeeping, restaurant staff, excursions and front desk, everyone exceeded our customer service expectations. We loved our water villa, it was always clean and we loved being able to swim right off the ladder on our back deck. The water is so clear and magical, it took our breath away. The resort pool was huge and clean, there are plenty of chairs and loungers for everyone. The food was great, with Oblu catering to all different types of people from all over the world we thought they did an excellent job with offering a variety of cuisines. The resort photographer was an incredible young man and he took the most amazing photos of us around the resort. You will regret it if you do not book a photo shoot, you will have these memories forever!

Our stay was lovely but if I had to pick one thing I would change about the resort it would be their restaurant hours. I think breakfast was from 7am-10am, lunch from 12pm-3pm and dinner from 7pm-10pm. We arrived after 3:00pm to the island and expected to be able to eat after such long flights but we soon found out that they were closed and would not reopen until 7:00pm. We were offered some snacks like popcorn. We would have liked to have had an earlier dinner time. We never eat dinner as late as 7:00pm so it was an adjustment to have to do so on our vacation.

Great food, especially in the asian and indian sectors. Staff was kind and always seemed to genuinely want to help people around. It was nice to have free rides inside the island hopping on the golf carts. Room was very clean, modern, comfortable and perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids.

At the checkout, when paying for the extras, the receptionist didn't accept perfectly valid US dollars because they where "series older than 2030", which is a b.s excuse and it made me stress out unnecessarily. So be careful if you need to pay anything with cash at the moment of checkout. Some of the of the beaches have lot of corals/rocks which makes them harder to walk, reach or swim easily.

Our stay at the Oblu Xperience Ailafushi was truly magical. We were joined by our daughters who are 13 and 21 years old. This was definitely a family trip to remember forever. All the staff made the whole experience something to remember. From the moment we were greeted at the airport to returning to the airport they made us feel like family. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any member of staff. The food was exceptional and the menu variety was huge every day. The island was kept very clean and tidy. The staff work hard to maintain the cleanliness. We all felt so at home that it was very hard to say goodbye. We were lucky to experience such a beautiful island and wonderful hospitality. A huge thank you to everyone and we hope to see you all again.

The island was stunning. The rooms were big, comfortable and had everything we could need. The food was amazing and plenty of options for me and my children to choose from. The shuttles around the island were great for when it was so hot and you wanted to get to somewhere quickly. Staff were lovely.

There was only one bar, and that was near the pool. We chose to spend the majority of our stay at the beach, where our accommodation was located. This meant that getting drinks and taking advantage of the all-inclusive was limited. There were no snacks like ice cream for the children during the day, which was a real shame. The pool was very noisy and busy and the evening entertainment was awful. The women singing sounded like they were in pain and could not hold a note between them. The sea where our rooms were was dangerous for the children to be in with a very strong tide. This is obviously not the fault of the hotel, but people staying should be made more aware. I am a strong swimmer and found that if I could not touch the bottom, I was being quickly dragged out.

The experience starts at the airport, where you get picked up by the resort staff, which will guide you to the taxi boat, store your luggage and start the journey to the island which will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted by the island staff, who will take your luggage straight to your villa. Meanwhile, you'll receive your key and be briefed about the island facilities' location and all your benefits. Also, you'll find a display with all the activities of the day. It will be updated every single day. Villa staterooms are amazing, very well clean and tidy. You have got all the amenities you need, beach towels, toothbrushes, shower gels, hairdryer, vault and hangers for your clothes. The island is a little paradise in the North Malé atoll. The resort activities are not invasive at all for the animal species around. Instead, they cure and preserve this natural paradise with all their species. Regarding the food, there is a restaurant with an open buffet with tre different options: international, Asian and Indian cuisine. In regards to drinks instead, in the restaurant you can take fresh soft drinks and beers from the refrigerators, or wine from the refreshed dispenser. At the main bar, you have a wide choice of classic alcoholic cocktails (around 13-14) together with a fountain with the 'cocktail of the day' and also a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. If you want to have a romantic dinner, together with some great food, we suggest trying the ONLY BLU underwater restaurant. Located along the pier that leads to another island (which is private, you can't access it), you will experience some fine dining surrounded by tanks with all the different fish and coral species in the Maldives. If you like water sports and divings, you have a wide selection of both, from jet skis to paragliding or diving with turtles, dolphins or nurse sharks.

It's not really something we didn't like, but the variety of international food was less than Asian and Indian food. Maybe they might consider making a wider selection of one cuisine based on the majority of the guests that are hosted.

Oblu Xperience Ailafushi is a paradise island resort that has completely exceeded our expectations. In our opinion, this resort should have five stars. In the description it is stated that only 1 cocktail per day is included, however the all-inclusive plan offers unlimited amount of delicious high-quality cocktails and also live entertainment at the bar in the evening. The resort also offers buggy transfers across the island that commute every 10-15min. In case you fall ill, there is a medical center on the island that provides free of charge medical advice and treatment. All in all, this was the best customer service experience we ever had. The underwater restaurant is fabulous and is located on the bottom of the sea - 6.8m below sea level.

The Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow and only 3G is available if you have a roaming plan on your mobile.

Best resort we've ever stayed at! Staff were friendly, excellent and unobtrusive. Buffet meals had good variety, and the food was hot too! Overwater villa was great. All inclusive plan meant we didn't have to spend an extra cent at any time.

These are only minor and.would not stop us from staying again: - We had to wait around 90 minutes for the transfer from the airport, a little longer than we'd like given we'd travelled all day to get to Male - Internet was poor, it was slow and kind of flakey, as sites and apps wouldn't load reliably.

Great nature, helpfull wonderfull staff, food, transfers. Easy check in. Restaurant has lots of choice. I stayed Beach Villa 416. I think it has the most beautiful beach in the Island. I think beach villas better than ocean Villas.

All inclusive fushi plan means: limited cocktails. Not all of it included. And I tried all of the free cocktails. I can't say they were delicious if you don't except much, it's okay. Breakfast 7.00-10.00 Lunch 12.00-15.00 Dinner 19.00-22.00 When you swim a lot, you get hungry easily. So between lunch and dinner there's nothing that you can eat for free. You should go Copper Pot (which is chargeable) Beach front Villa's don't have sunbed umbrella. If you want shadow, you should go pool area. So you can't stay for too long in front of your Villa's beach. Because the sun is burning a lot. Diving, jet ski too expensive.
