I recently had the pleasure of staying at Beach Cottage, and it is my pleasure to share a wonderful experience. Admir, as a main host, truly set a new standard for hospitality. Your effortless, positive demeanor and genuine care for guests are rare and precious qualities that made my stay unforgettable. From the moment I arrived without a set plan, Admir was there, not just as a host but as a guide and a friend. Your insights and guidance transformed my stay into an adventure I will always cherish. A great location right by the beach but away from the main tourist area; lovely room; good selection of activities; charming helpful host and great snorkelling guide

Breakfast was not provided, but there was a kitchenette and it was easy enough to get provisions from one of the little shops close by - or to go to one of the restaurants. Not providing breakfast is a missed opportunity

Everything, it’s an amazing place to stay, it’s even better than the photos online, there’s only 6 rooms so it gives you that cosy homely feeling yet has everything you could need. Just outside each 3 rooms is a shared seating/communal area with a tv if you didn’t want to sit in your room all the time, the reception area had lovely seating areas with free tea and coffee available all the time, and finally a tropical lit garden area with tables/chairs, sunloungers and drying racks for your clothes. The staff onsite are a different level, Amir and Mohamed are the best, greeting you daily with a friendly smile and nothing is too much trouble, you just need to ask and they make it happen. They’re very knowledgeable about the whole area and can arrange trips from the hotel for snorkelling, fishing, sandbanks and kayaking.

Absolutely everything. The place is cozy, with a nice garden and a space where you can have tea and coffee and even bring your food. But nothing compares to the personnel. Mohamed is always there with a smile to make your stay very comfortable. Then there is Amir, who is simply exceptional. He is always there when you need him and he is very attentive. I strongly recommend going on as many trips with him as possible. It is absolutely worth it, he will help you with everything you need and will shoot the best underwater videos you can imagine. We have serious doubts that he is just human and not half fish ;) He is, for sure, one of the best things from our trip to Maldives. Thank you for everything. Shukuriyaa!

Our stay was too short ;)

Let’s start with the welcoming - you will be picked up at the ferry and will not have to carry lugage through the sand streets which is quite comfortable. Although it is a bit further from the bikini beach than some other places, it is very close to the local beach, a great restaurant and local shops. However, it is not about the accomodation, but about the people there. Amir will help you with everything and anytime. Mohammed would explain you everything about coconuts and even open one for you! We talked with these guys and understood a bit the Maldivian culture and living. And the room? AC works like a charm, bathroom is nice and clean, you will get beach towels, water is available for free and overall the vibe of the place is very cool! We would definitely come back one day if we can make it.

We loved staying at the Beach Cottage! Amir and his staff was so nice and friendly! And we felt very welcome! :) They were so good to us and our baby, taking such good care of her. They were also very nice to our 9 year old boy and Amir offered to teach him how to get comfortable with the water as he is affraid of deep waters. We booked a three spot snorkeling trip with Amir and he made the most beautiful film of our trip snorkeling with turtles, sharks and alot of colorful and beautiful fish! They really made our stay at Rasdhoo amazing - and we will never forget them! The place is wonderful and the rooms are nice and clean - we would recommend staying here to everyone!

Beach Cottage is cozy, clean and comfortable. They don't have breakfast but there is free coffee and tea all day and there is a bakery and a market in front of the hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We booked snorkeling with the hotel and it was the best dive of our lives. It was in a private boat and Amir, the snorkeling guide, did amazing videos of me and my husband with his gopro! After check out we were going to Ukulhas with the public ferry, but it was canceled because of the rain and the hotel booked a private boat for us, for free! We also forgot a belong inside the room and they sent this to us in Ukulhas! Thank you so much! Special thanks for Amir and Nixaam.

When we arrived the staff from Beach Cottage were waiting for us at Rasdu harbour, it was a really warm welcome. Without delay our luggage was taken and we were shown to our accommodation. I was so impressed, truly. Beach Cottage is its own little paradise, the quietness, a very relaxed atmosphere, it was so easy to fit in and feel at home, just what I liked, unintrusive, left to your own devices unless you needed help or advice. The property is also spotlessly clean. There is one person who quietly co-ordinates everything his name is Amir. efficient, diligent, polite, helpful, always contactable, communicates well, respectful & unintrusive, what more could you ask for from a host he is a genuine person. At the end of the day Beach Cottage is just bricks & mortar. Amir brings the soul & passion to Beach Cottage & unknowingly creates a wonderful stay & impression where you can only conclude that you will be back to this small island.

We liked everything about our stay. Such beautiful facilities and with just six rooms in this hotel, we felt more like family guests than customers. We were looked after from the moment we arrived at the airport, where we were met and taken to the motorboat transfer and again met at Rasdu by Amir. Do not miss Amir's excursions to the sandbank and snorkeling - he is a fantastic guide with a real passion for the marine wildlife. We were delighted to be given a collection of videos he had made of our outings. They will be a wonderful souvenier. Our room had everything we needed, and there was a constant and generous supply of bottled water. There is also tea/coffee available at all times in the reception area. The hotel did not offer any meals, but the Lemon Drop restaurant is just a few minutes away. It is reasonably priced and has good food. The Bikini Beach is fabulous and is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel. All in all, it was a unique and memorable stay and I would highly recommend Beach Cottage to anyone.

We liked everything. Just one warning - Beach Cottage does not currently appear on the drop down list of hotels on the IMUGA form you need to enter the country and immigration WILL check your booking reservation when you arrive. So it would be wise to drop Beach Cottage a line beforehand to check if this is still the case - apparently the IMUGA form lists Beach Cottage's previous name. Once this was checked we got through fine.

During my first stay in the Maldives, I wanted to get to know the life of the locals as well as the luxurious hotel islands. I found a wonderful guest house in the Beach House Cottage: small, cosy and yet so comfortable that I didn't miss a thing. My special highlight was the 3-spot snorkeling safari with Amir Hussain. Not only did he show me the fantastic underwater world of Rasdhoo, but as a snorkeling beginner he also took away my insecurities about moving around in the water and enjoying the fauna.
