Food was excellent and facilities on the island were excellent (pools etc)

There is a buggy to take you to different parts of the island, which you have to wait for, you dont normally have to wait long normally 15 minutes max, and if you are lucky one comes in a minute or 2, but you can walk anywhere on the island in 20 minutes. I would have preferred to have bikes for the guests to use.

Speedboat transfer was more like a 100 seat ferry rather than one of the small speedboats often seen around Malé. A small beer costs $10, and the mini-bar price for 200ml of Jura Whisky is ridicules at $223 (i.e. about £900/Litre). Vodka was $179/500ml

Highly recommended! Very good value for money. Kura is a piece of a real paradise. Garden villas are superb, beds are very comfy. We loved the outdoor shower! The food selection and quality are fabulous! The entire island is well maintained, clean and stunning. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Evening entertainment was a bonus.

The all inclusive is misleading, its more of a semi all inclusive. Having access to other buffet restaurants would be nicer. Not having complementary bikes in such a huge property is a minus.

Amazing service and attention, really well managed resort with a lot of options and facilities. Especially relevant their diving center in the location (great at all levels and decompression chamber which is not that common!). We stayed in Deluxe Beach Villa and Water Villa, both amazing in their own category levels. You never get a ‘crowded’ feeling at the beach or restaurants.

To mention something, it’s a pity that you have a lunch and dinner included (full board) but only in a given buffet restaurant, having so many other options. We paid 2 dinners on top, to enjoy the experience of the other restaurantes. I understand that’s quite standard practice in these resorts, yet you feel you pay dinner twice :)

Fantastic place. The room was great and the weather was insane. Saw multiple reef sharks and some other amazing fish daily from our place. The staff were great and so friendly.

Didn't quite think it was value for money. We paid a lot for it as it was xmas however looked at the same property in Feb and was 1/4 of the price. Had to pay extra for the new years eve party and it was not worth the extra money spent. When we booked the holiday we thought it was all inclusive. We didn't realise you had to pay extra to get the choice of the other restaurants as it wasn't explained properly. Thought they were trying to upsell us on the premium alcohol only as the buffet style everyday got boring. Even when we tried to pay extra for the other restaurants we couldn't get a reservation for when we want. Seems like people just book up in advance which isn't fair.

Beautiful island and might be the NICEST baby blue/greenish water I ever got to swim in. I did an over water villa with swimming pool for three nights for about $3000 and paid about $300 roundtrip speed boat transfer from the MALE AIRPORT to the resort and back for two people total. My only complaint, i booked the breakfast, lunch and dinner package (not all inclusive with alcohol) and even with the $3000 price tag for three nights for two people only the breakfast came with juice. Lunch and Dinner had NO DRINKS included except for the two bottles of water a day you get for free in your room. It would of been nice to have some juice, coca-cola, SOMETHING to wash down the lunch and dinner food with.

The fact the breakfast, lunch and dinner package came with NO DRINKS for lunch and dinner. Juice for breakfast but I had to drink water for the rest of my trip without being charged more on top of the $3000 I paid for 3 nights for me and my girl.

Amazing resort, we loved it, and only have one other resort to compare too, but Kuramathi was really great! The food was excellent, plenty of choice and variety, and especially the pastries were fantastic. The cocktails were really great and there is a lot of choice included in All-Inclusive, which was not the case in a different resort where there were only a handful, but not at Kuramathi. Thanks to them I now have a new favorite cocktail (the Italian Colada). The staff was attentive and we never had to wait long for anything, taking drink orders as soon as we set down, never forgot an order, always driving us to where we wanted to go with the buggy, and always friendly and accommodating without it feeling forced (again, comparing to another resort). The house reef was amazing, snorkeling at the jetty, we saw a turtle, plenty of blacktip reef sharks, and even a manta ray once! The other places to snorkel are accessible by channel, which I would only recommend during tide, as they are super shallow. We only tried a few but the channel near Thundi reception had a few manta rays in the afternoon and a lot of exciting things to see! Beware the titan triggerfish though, there are plenty around but if you keep your distance they don't mind. Island Coffee bar makes great iced latte, but our favorite spot to hang out was the Laguna bar - it has a nice infinity pool, cocktails, and a nice spot to swim with a bit of coral to visit, and access to some channels leading to the reef. Even when the weather wasn't as great, it was nice to hang out in the lungers there or be in the pool. Evening entertainment was hit and miss but the resident band at the time (Antidote) was really great, amazing singers and great music selection. Kuramathi also has a great app and a map to guide you around, which can be very helpful.

We pretty much loved everything, but many times we had to walk around the island and got confused about the layout, the sign posts could be more frequent, but you can use the app to help navigate.

The setting, the facilities, the staff and the catering were all absolutely excellent.

My only quibble was that the alcohol in the mini-bar, was chargeable even if you were on an Inclusive package.
