The BnB is nicely put together and immaculately clean, with the facilities all very much fit for purpose; including washing machine, iron & board as well as hair dryers and pool towels. There was a good range to breakfast, with the added ability to store excess for later in a designated fridge box. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was really good, the bed was comfy, and the washroom was nicely laid-out and clean. 2 minute walk to the local bus-stop.

No substantial vegetarian alternative to the full English breakfast, however they did stack the plate with what was appropriate. The parting walls between rooms are of a different construction to the building - you could hear alarms going off, but that was the only disturbance.

Built in the traditional sandstone , beautifully restored to a very high standard, exceptionally clean, gardens, patios and swimming pool area kept very clean . Linen and towels great , room serviced every day , environmentally ‘towel’ friendly. Two outside terraces for all guests to use and lounge areas on the ground and first floor again for all guests to use, use of fridge and also the kitchen for cooking if you wanted to eat supper in . Breakfast was superb amazing choice of cereals, continental, full English, fresh bread, homemade jams and yogurts, fresh fruit salad and a different cake baked everyday. Victor, Sonia and their team were just so kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely nothing.

The hosts made me feel welcome right from the Start. They are easy going and professional and always open for a chat. However, as the hosts are only on premise in the morning guests have the rest of the day to themselves (if you are (like me) keen on having your privacy). The place is a true gem. A historical limestone farm house that was brought to new life with wonderful thoughtful details. The pool is lovely and refreshing. Don't miss the awesome breakfast! You can have both a continental breakfast (with yogurt, fruits, cereal, bread, cheese, ham, and cake) and / or a full English breakfast that will be prepared for you freshly on the spot. Most of the food is homemade, and there is a home-baked cake every morning (don't know how Sonia manages to bake still, with two more hotels to look after!) The town of Ghasri is very calm and serene with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. There is a grocery shop if you want to get some stuff for lunch or supper. And a bus is going to Victoria (Gozo's capital) once an hour. Going somewhere with public transport needs some planning but the bus network in Malta is very reliable and affordable - and I got to all the places I wanted to go without a car. I definitely recommend! Great hospitality, great accommodation, wonderful scenery!

Honestly, there was nothing amiss.

Beautiful farmhouse B & B ideally located for visiting most of Gozo. Our room was a good size with excellent air conditioning which was very welcome. The nearby balcony was fantastic to sit out on in the early morning/late evening. The pool was lovely and great to have breakfast around each morning. The breakfast itself was great and included fresh bread and cake each day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Some were very chatty (Victor!). The use of a large kitchen fridge and some of the kitchen itself was also an added bonus and much appreciated. Parking is in the outside street but you can usually park near the accommodation. There is a local supermarket just down the road which sells a good selection of (local) wine and cheese and has a well stocked deli counter. Would recommend :)

The most beautiful, historic set of buildings. Rooms are extremely well presented, carefully looked after and very comfortable. Communal spaces were perfect, the pool was clean with lots of loungers and seating. The daily breakfast was incredible with so much variety - every morning we were amazed by the freshly baked cakes and perfectly cooked eggs! The team at Maria’s are so friendly and really make you feel welcome and at home. We loved chatting with them in the morning and they were always on hand to help and advise if needed. The location is a little out of the way but there is a well equipped supermarket just a fifteen minute walk away, plenty of parking around if you have a car, and the bus stop is just a couple of minutes walk away - having you in Victoria within minutes. If you would like to enjoy dinner at the B&B, there is a grill by the pool so you can cook the evening away! Evenings are calm and quiet due to the slightly more rural location, and the stars are so bright - it is just gorgeous and provides a peaceful and relaxing environment that helps you unwind and truly enjoy everything around you. We loved everything about Maria’s B&B and cannot wait to return one day.

The place was beautiful and very well taken care of, you can see how much care the owners and staff take the property and the guests. The personnel was very friendly and helpful, the whole environment gives you a sense of traditional Maltese life and the breakfast was delicious and varied every day.

The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we had to pay for the AC, but honestly, sometimes it wasn't even necessary because there's a fan and at night it's rather fresh due to the thick walls.

Vincent and Sonya hosted me for my stay - they are both the most lovely people you could meet! I was travelling from the main island and Sonya was very communicative to help me find my way to their property, so much she called and offered for Vincent to pick me up from the ferry terminal! The property is absolutely stunning even the photos don’t do it justice. Breakfast is substantial and you won’t need to have lunch after it. The rooms are cleaned and serviced during breakfast so you can return to your room with your bed made and fresh towels. The staff are so friendly and make you feel like you’re a part of the family. The property and the location is perfect if you want a peaceful time in Gozo however there is a supermarket and bus stop close by to travel into Victoria if you feel like a bit more hustle and bustle. Thank you for taking care of me during my stay & making my time in Gozo memorable.

Took a while to get used to the bed, (that's my own personal taste) would have been so good to have our own little fridge as there was space and would save going up and down the stairs😂

This lodging is a gem throughout mostly for its beauty and the provided level of service. Jacob (as Victor was on leave) together with his assistants provided an excellent service with regards to breakfast and cleanliness. The breakfast is as minimum of a 3*** hotel, with an English Breakfast and home made deserts. Victor excels in human resources as he talks to each guest to verify the needs of his guests. The pool is very well maintained and the rooms on the old side are more spacious.

The provided room lacked some breathing space but this is replaced by the terrace outside. Next time we'll opt for rooms 1 to 4.

The room, the pool, breakfast service, the entire staff who supported Victor, our host, to perfection.

We would have liked Ghasri, the village, to have had a small centre with a cafe, restaurant, bar to walk down to, rather than use the car each evening (I’m 85, my wife over 70). However, we went there for peace & tranquility and found it in spades.
