Our room location with a terrace that led onto the adults only pool. No stairs! Very peaceful and staff attentive and remembered our special dietary needs. Beautiful view and surroundings, which is why we selected the hotel. The food in the main restaurant was excellent and good value. We were on B and B, so paid EU 38 + wine for a 4 course evening meal.

The room was a bit tired and needed upgrading. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. Housekeeping service inconsistent. Lack of plugs ( generally inconvenient locations) beside a mirror to use a hairdryer. The plug for the kettle was under the TV and the kettle did not turn off automatically, so it was a bit dangerous if we had not stood over it. Nowhere to put shower gel or shampoo, as the trays had been broken and not replaced. Breakfast was a bit 'standard' and would have been nice to have a menu/speciality choice.

The setting of Ta Cenc is idyllic if you are looking for tranquility. The outdoor breakfast area set under a magnificent spreading old tree is very special. The warm water indoor/outdoor pool is wonderful

Our room backed onto the spa and was often noisy. If you dont have a car Ta Cenc can feel quite isolated, altho there is an hourly bus service into Victoria. The hotel bar only serves lunch and not at snack food prices, so eating options locally are limited.

The indoor outdoor pool is marvellous and the room is tastefully decorated and very accessible. The latter is particularly important since I am mobility impaired.

Access to the buffet style breakfast. I am mobility and visually impaired and it is hard to negotiate the steps in order to help myself to breakfast. Staff were helpful in helping me but a menu from which to choose the breakfast options would have facilitated communication with staff. A ramp was put up during my stay which helped me access one level of the breakfast restaurant however this is not the same as a built-in ramp. I think that having the breakfast laid outdoors on one level ground makes breakfast accessible to everybody. Also the hand rail in the Jacuzzi makes it accessible but the hand rail in the outdoor pool which ends one step short from the ground made it harder for me to negotiate coming out of the pool especially.

quiet location. good pool and garden area . restaurant and bar were comfortable. staff in restaurant were very nice . food was very good for both breakfast and dinner.

the bathrooms in rooms 107 and 108 are very old. they could also have been cleaned more thoroughly. on the second day of our stay I don’t think they were cleaned at all ,especially the floor . there was no information in the room about the hotel services. eg. restaurant info. check out times . we had to keep asking at reception .

We had a fantastic stay here. A real escape! The hotel is beautifully maintained and the facilities are great. Some of our room was a little tired - the bathroom and the wardrobe -but I felt it was very homely, safe, well looked after, and generally didn't affect my stay at all. The pools and the spa were exceptional. The food was very good - we ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel. There are not many options locally - a car / taxi is essential to eat out elsewhere, although some ordered in using Bolt.

A personal preference, but we like an ala carte rather than buffet breakfast. Lots to choose from at the buffet though, so we enjoyed it just fine.

The property is overall absolutely unique and lovely set into the surrounding with spectacular view from the tacent cliffs. With a bit of renovation this hotel could easily be one of the top destinations in the Mediterranean. The service is excellent and much better than in usual five star hotels. They are more more friendly and welcoming than I am used to from other five star hotel staff. We would not award 10 if it was not for the service. Nemanja, Dejan, Nikola, Dragomir and many others were extremely welcoming.

Obviously the place needs essential renovation and as mentioned before it’s a complete waste of potential since the hotel is absolutely unique

Beautiful position. Lovely environment. Out if season Feb visit with our daughter - half board. Very good breakfast.

Beds were uncomfortable - particularly the sofa bed. The food for dinner was a bit hit and miss…not the quality we were expecting as we’d’ already eaten in the coastal bistro on the cliff last summer and thought it would be the same quality. Not so. Unfortunately it rained a lot during our stay and our bungalow had several bad leaks and we had water in our room and bathroom…some upkeep needed.

The place is like a small slice of paradise on the Maltese islands. You can fully relax anywhere you are on the premises as it is absolutely quiet. The Pools and SPA facilities are excellent. one needs to go and experience Ta Cenc to understand the amazing sensation at this place.

I can only say one thing and not as a complaint but for constructive feedback! Double single mattresses put together DO NOT make a matrimonial mattress and are actually not so comfortable when one finds themselves in the exact middle!! Please do something about that!!

Staff were accomodating, friendly and professional. They made the experience feel like it was the 5 stars we expected. The spa exceeded expectations. Having the plants surrounding the sauna; stellar. The WiFi mesh network was great. and honestly having a few stray cats around added some charm.

The sauna experience did lack a proper cold shower or cold tub to cool down. The rooms were fine, but did start to show their age. Maybe remove the old TVs, most people have tablets with higher resolutions nowadays.

The spa was excellent for relaxing at the end of the day and we were particularly happy that they didn't allow children there after a certain time so it was very peaceful! Breakfast was lovely - a good selection and the location at the cliffs is beautiful. Just a short walk away and you are at the most stunning cliffs on Gozo. We watched several sunsets there and joined a few of the walking trails. There are a lot of very friendly cats at the hotel too :)

There was some maintenance going on but nothing noisy that bothered us. Just one of the pools was not in use but really it was ok as it was not the time of year for using the outdoor pool.
