Very convenient and nice location. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Nice, modern, clean room. Well equipped. Very good stay, just what I needed.

My only real criticism would be getting repeatedly disturbed by the housekeepers who wanted to clean my room even though it was before the 12pm checkout limit. At one point a housekeeper even swiped herself into my room whilst I was in there! Not nice to feel rushed when you are paying so much money and it is before the checkout time.

The studio couldn't be in a better location. It's walking distance from the ferry, very near the navettes to Trois Islets and Anse Mitan and also to the bus that goes to the airport and St-Pierre. The view to Fort St-Louis was excellent. The kitchen is handy to prepare an easy meal in case you are traveling during Easter when all restaurants are closed. The staff, mainly Olivia, was always ready to help with info. They immediately answered all my questions sent through booking.com and thanked us after our departure. Ask for a room with a view on the 3rd floor.

Occasionally there is some street noise, so bring earplugs. That was a small price to pay for having that view. If you definitely want a quiet studio there are a couple that face the corridor.

The Residence Fort Savane was just right for us. Our room was large and the large windows looked out over the park. The room was nicely furnished and decorated, the bed was good, and there was sufficient storage space. The kitchenette was well equipped and everything worked satisfactorily. The WiFi was good, and the air-conditioning was satisfactory. There is an elevator/lift which worked reliably. Daily servicing of our room was very good The Residence is about 10 to 12 minutes on foot from the main inter-island ferry terminal, which suited us well. It is only 5 minutes from the very local ferries to places on the bay (beaches and towns). There are many restaurants in the downtown area, but they vary greatly in comfort, price and quality of food. To our surprise, parking was not really difficult.

Across the street from the Residence in the edge of the park are 2 or 3 outdoor café-restaurants: on weekend nights one or more play music loudly. We coped without great difficulty but light sleepers be warned. The reception is not opened regularly. Guests should be sure to contact the hotel well in advance to make arrangements for checking in. Incidentally the door to the Residence is inconspicuous.

Perfect location overlooking La Savanne (lovely green park), close to sea front, easy walk from all shops in downtown Fort de France. An apart-hotel rather than standard hotel, so you have to be buzzed up to reception, but it was always staffed when we needed it. The team were also exceptional - quick to respond, no problems leaving luggage pre-check in and post-check out, and offered to call a taxi for us (which arrived promptly). Nice waiting area too :) Room was spacious and comfortable, good A/C, large bathroom with excellent shower, all modern design & fittings.

Be aware that, on a weekend evening, the music from the food kiosks on La Savanne feels like it is right outside the window (and it is loud!). We were warned about this, but not until after we’d booked. Finished by 11pm.

The location is perfect. In the heart of town with all the stores and supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. The room is simple, yet comfortable. There's action across the street especially on Fridays and Saturdays; live band and food of all types. The window facing the street is sealed tightly and almost no sound comes in. So in spite of the weekend's events, you are able to sleep soundly. The room, at the start of our stay wasn't cleaned to our satisfaction but that was quickly rectified. If you have any issues whatsoever, the resolution is one whatsapp message or call away. Safety is always a concern when you're in a foreign country and we always felt safe in and out of the hotel.

Checking in can be a bit difficult if you're from overseas and don't have a working phone

Location was very good for me. Everything is walking distance and close by, restaurants, shopping, ports. The room was very nice and clean, comfortable bed too. Concierge (Pauline) was very helpful and pleasant.

Not much not to like. One slight hiccup for me. The reception opened at 1pm. I came in a bit early and just needed a breather and some wifi. There was a sign on the door to call but my phone didn’t roam , luckily I met a gentleman downstairs who let me use his phone to call the number on the door. Maybe this should have been mentioned in the confirmation email because I was expecting someone to be there at reception in the morning. Other than that everything was great.

The location was amazing!! The hotel faced La Savane park in the center of Fort de France with easy walking distance to all the main sites and restaurants. The “A” bus that runs through the airport goes straight to the street in front of the hotel and only costs 1.45 Euro. The room was clean and comfortable. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful!!

I stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night and the area is busy with activity….as well as noise until after midnight. The hotel did give me fair warning about this in two separate emails, and I was okay with it. But it is something to keep in mind if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Super nice and quiet studio apartment that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean and fully functional. A big terrace faces the garden and has lots of space. We loved the location of the place: walking trail to the Les Salines beach starts close to the resort and Sainte-Anne is also in the walking vicinity. Special thanks to our host Jonathan, who was extremely friendly, flexible, and went out of his way to make our stay special. We’re definitely coming back!

Location is perfect in the city. Everything is within walking distance. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom is lovely. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

We got there early around 10 and had to wait in the lobby until 3pm to access the room. We knew what time check in was though.

Centrally located within Fort-de-France, cafes, restaurants, shops and the markets are within walking distance, making it an ideal location. The reception lady was very friendly and welcoming, and very helpful with any questions we had. She also recommended different places within the city and around the island. Whilst the room was a bit tight in size with all our luggage, it was clean and comfortable. The double glazed windows masked the outside noise. Wi-Fi was great and fast, A/C worked well and there was a coffee machine which was bliss first thing in the morning. We could also easily find street parking for our rental car.

A second set of pillows would have been good as the ones we had were very flat. And the shower would have benefited with a shower curtain to contain the water from going out as much.
