The location is peaceful and serene. The hosts provided detailed instructions for access and directions to finding the B&B. I love that the property is pet friendly. The breakfast was tasty and much appreciated. We stayed in a "habitacion" that had a beautiful and clever architectural design with a mix of brick, cement, glass, and wood. The design seemed to allow for plenty of light without letting the sun increase room temperature which could be an issue when visiting in July. The light fixtures in the room seemed to all be handcrafted and allowed a pleasant amount of indirect light to promote sleeping. We enjoyed walking around the property for exercise and viewing all the trees. The in-room binder of information and "ruta de vino" maps were much appreciated. I loved the Mexican-made toiletries provided in the room.

I really don't have anything negative to write, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at Casa Mayoral and we hope to be back soon! It was a very relaxing place with lots of space to walk around. We took our dog and he loved it; they are VERY dog friendly. The hosts are one of the nicest people I’ve met and made our stay extra special. They had no problem answering questions/requests or recommending places to go eat. They do offer breakfast on site, which was cheap and delicious! We liked that it was very clean and relaxing. We are definitely coming back!

The road to get there was not the best due to the rain, but no fault to the owner. We were able to get there in a Sedan, but would’ve been more comfortable if we would’ve taken our truck. But in reality nothing wrong about the property. We liked everything.

This is a lovely property in a beautiful location at the edge of the valley. The cottages (1-4) are actually stand along small villas/casitas with great design and charm (lots of wood/brick and great lighting). The photos of the rooms are accurate but the views are better than they appear online. This is a place to unwind and explore at peace listening to the birds. (So don't expect a big screen TV). There is AC, good WiFi, and a small breakfast served in a lovely outdoor setting with delicious unlimited coffee The location allows for easy exploration of the entire Valle and is close to many good wineries/restaurants. The property is lovingly cared for and the family running it is very responsive.

There are helpful instructions sent by the hotel, which would have been great to get a few days earlier (especially if you want to make reservations at some of the suggested places.).

We loved walking around the property & seeing the burros. One of the kind employees also gave us carrots to give them, which was so sweet. Breakfast & morning coffee were both great. They also have some wine for sale from local vineyards, which was convenient. Happy that they were pet-friendly without any additional fee.

The road to get there is a bit rough but doable in pretty much any vehicle. A mini-fridge or microwave in the room would be helpful. While pet-friendly, they have a very strict policy about dogs not being allowed on the bed with a $100 penalty.

The breakfast was delicious. We had an authentic Mexican breakfast along with coffee and fresh papaya juice. The breakfast hours are decent, and the welcome message and in the room.

The only thing I didn't like is the main road to get there. The roads around the valley are not that great in some spots, and the exit you must take is a little weird. However, the staff sends you very good instructions on how to get there.

We spent three nights at Casa Mayoral BnB with family, so we rented two units. We loved the rural quality, the expansive views from our porches, the perimeter paths that were perfect for peaceful walks and birdwatching. Our days were fairly busy with visiting wineries, so it was lovely to have a quiet morning in a pastoral setting. The breakfast area and seating areas near reception were comfortable, and surrounded by trees, shrubs, and cacti. Although we weren't travelling with dogs, we enjoyed seeing the dogs and resident cats. Breakfasts were very good and a great value. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. We liked almost everything about our stay, and small issues (low water pressure in the shower) were truly minor. We know that low water pressure and water-saving fixtures are simply what must be used in this location. If we return to the Valle de Guadalupe, we will be sure to stay again at Casa Mayoral.

This wasn't an issue for us, BUT if you don't like driving on dirt roads, Casa Mayoral may not be for you. It is centrally located, but accessed off Mexico 3 on a bumpy dirt road for about a mile. On the other hand, that dirt road goes right by a very good craft brewery (Media Perra), so stopping there might be on your touristic list anyway. It's a great place......great design and wonderful artisanal beers and IPAs. Also, Casa Mayoral is only a few miles from Deckman's which is a spectacular place for a gourmet dinner. Our best meal in the Valle de Guadalupe, suggested by the charming owner of Casa Mayoral.

The accommodations we're separate, private cottage type units with a deck looking out across a countryside view of the valley and a nearby pasture. The interior was well decorated with a wood slat ceiling and decorative brick walls. The bathroom and shower were a good size with modern tile and stone work.

Everything was perfect.

Cabins 1-4 are very unique cabins and lovely on the inside with a lovely small terrace to take wine at sunset and star gaze during the night. The other newer rooms look a bit whatever from the outside. The staff is extremely welcoming. I highly recommend staying at Casa Mayoral.

The people were friendly and helpful, but you also had a lot of privacy and autonomy.

Loved most everything about it. If I had to pick one thing that was less than ideal I’d have to say the water pressure for the shower. From what I understand from talking to people who stayed at other places in the Valle, this is really common.

I loved the farm dogs and animals on the property. The breakfast was a nice touch and we were in a central part of wine country. We felt safe and well taken care of. The propert is beautiful and somewhat hard to access.
