Friendly staff, spacious and clean room, comfortable bed. AC was effective. Within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. Area felt safe. Great price. (note that the 5th floor is no longer a restaurant; it is now a beauty salon, but there is a small cafe in the lobby)

Traffic noise was pretty noticeable in our room on the street-side of the building, but it varied by time of day of course. Also the door to the room isn't massively sound resistant, so we could often hear sound from the hallways and lobby; not sure how much others could hear us. The wifi was fine on our personal devices, but we couldn't connect our phones to the tv to use streaming services, and using the tv's built-in Netflix app was unreliable with significant buffering and the connection sometimes dropping entirely. Despite these things I'd still stay here again and it was a great stay overall.

Alou Hotel Boutique is a very nice upscale hotel in Tijuana. it’s very modern and our room had amazing amenities ranging from a huge bathroom, iron, ironing board, fridge, chair, desk for working, and a lot of pillows. The staff was very nice and professional.

This is not the fault of Alou but the internet connectivity for Tijuana overall is poor. Even with the hotel’s WiFi it was a complete struggle to login into anything. The neighborhood needs more infrastructure. Many of the cafes, restaurants on Google Maps are no longer in business. Please do your research or ask for recommendation before heading out the door.

Everything and Everyone were perfect. It exceeded my expectations. The gentleman who helped me went above and beyond. I forgot to get his name but he was super nice. I will be sure to recommend this place and when i visit again this is where i will stay. Room was clean, it was quite and enjoyed my stay.

Loved everything. I was concerned about the neighborhood but all my Uber drivers assured me I would be safe. I don’t normally go out at night anyway so I was fine but I did arrive in an Uber at night and the doorman always was at the door to help me get in.

This boutique hotel is modern, and super cozy with one of the best showers ever. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Would definitely stay here again.

The two TV remote controls were a bit confusing. The outside streets aren't very pretty but well, it's within walking distance to Revoluccion.

Almost everything! The room was clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was very close to everything and in a safe neighborhood.

The one thing, the noise. It was very loud in the room, from noise inside the hotel and from outside, from the traffic. The hotel would be perfect if there had been sound proofing done.

This place is very well kept, really clean and the staff was overly helpful. The valet parking is very useful because the area didn't seem the safest.

The area doesn't seem like the nice part of town but it is very close to downtown.

Nicest hotel in Tijuana that I could find. It was new and clean and there was valet parking if you need it. Central location, although I don't recommend walking much in Tijuana. Staff was friendly and the shower was spacious and nice.

The location is as good as you will get for Tijuana, just don't expect a fancy high-end location. I wish there were a restaurant on-site but I can understand many hotels have reduced that service during covid.
