The staff was amazing to us. I hurt my back while carrying a suitcase and they helped us find a doctor really quick. They were adorable the whole time, gave us tips and recommendations on what to do nearby and were ready to help anytime. The hotel is close to the centre and the combis that drive you to the little towns like Chipas de Corzo.

Internet a little weak at time. Some noise generated by a group of students in the hallway late at night and early morning. Not the staff responsibility.

The room was prepared for us already in the morning. Friendly and helpful personal at the reception. Walking distance to the main plaza.

Sleeping is really hard because of dogs barking all night until early in the morning, its not the hotel fault but a hotel you can't sleep because of noice can't be recommended. Becarful its not safe at night take your precautions like taxi or Uber. And no one I talk to in the hotel speak english but in booking it say Spanish and English.

Awkward experience , poor service to say the least. Nowhere Is mentioned that this is a family run business with their house merged in the entrance /ground floor . They closed the hotel (house) entrance and was awkward having to ring the bell and get someone to wake up from the famiy to come open the door to let you in the hotel. ( you can imagine the looks you are welcomed with ) You can't take the keys of your room with you!! These are to be left in ''reception'' which did not seemed attended 24hrs (nobody in the evening , unless you wake someone up ) No ID was requested upon check in which seemed strange... room was small , only one plug , which was next to the door entrance, I had to figure out how to charge my laptop, phone, chargers and also figure out how to maintain them next to the door with no table to keep anything from hanging from the plug. In the evening a friend from the event came to pick me up , the rather rude, unfriendly (and eye rolling) receptionist would not allow my friend to wait in the room while I finished getting ready , she told him to ''wait over there'' pointing to what seemed to be the living room of the house! Reiterated it was only for a very short time , my friend was not quite prepared to hang out with the family kids in the living room. An elderly lady came to check and speak to the receptionist, who proceeded to ask questions such as if I had paid, if I had booked a room for two, If I had another guest etc! It was uncomfortable and unnecessary , nevermind the embarrassment as this is all happening with my friend next to me. This all happened despite having booked (fairly ) in advance , spending time writing the reason of my stay on the booking, explaining upon arrival the reason of my stay to double check , having paid in advance, having booked and confirmed a room for double occupancy. Ended up spending the night out .
