The breakfast was included in the room cost and it was delicious every time we had it. Nice dining room upstairs with a friendly server and your choice from a different daily limited menu of a complete breakfast, beverages and fresh made bread each day. Try what appeared to be homemade orange marmalade, so good! All of the staff was friendly and helpful, grounds in the courtyard were kept immaculate and so lovely. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again for sure. Comfortable bed, darkening curtains and plush towels just to mention a couple features I appreciated.

I truly can not think of anything we didn't like or thought needed to be improved.

Breakfast was great--many choices--I loved the family attitude and the server.

Reservations--. I had to call 3x and was told they didn't speak English (I spoke some Spanish) and I should make the reservation on Booking.com (I prefer to make my reservations directly with the hotel).. Also, I was originally told I would need to change rooms which was fine, and when I later asked when I should be ready to do that, the front desk knew nothing about that. I never had to change rooms which was fine, however it was all somewhat confusing.

My room was great, overlooking the courtyard which is beautiful. The hotel is family friendly so there are kids in the pool but it's a nice vibe, the guests and the staff couldn't have been more polite, kind, and friendly. Great views from the rooftop but you have to make it your own spot since it isn't serviced but lots of chairs and tables. Decent walk up the hill, not for people with mobility issues.

My room was so big that it would have been nice to have a little desk or side table to the chairs provided to write, set down a coffee cup. Honestly, that is so trivial, the hotel really provided me a comfortable stay and a beautiful atmosphere.

It's a charming hotel amidst the many on offer in SMA. The staff were lovely as was the location, easy to get to the main part of town. The hotel is surrounded but many restaurant options and also serves daily breakfast in a well appointed room. The room size is large and the upstairs balcony has amazing views to the city.

We couldn't figure out why the pool was never cleaned, always lots of tree fallings in the water. We didn't like that there are no hooks and places to put your towels in the bathroom, or that the staff changed towels everyday. This isn't necessary if we had some place to dry our towels properly and also saves on environmental issues.

Personnel were very good, I mean, excellent. Beautiful place. Convenient location. Would definitely go back there.

For elder people with difficulties walking on round stone streets, or up and down hill, definitely San Miguel not a place for you. Now, about the hotel, well, we were in a low season, so the variety of options for breakfast were fair, but for the price paid per night, we were expecting more quantity. Quality was good, though. I would just improve a bit the terrace because the view is beautiful from there. The have old equipment there, that could be removed from there to have some chairs and probably a bar, self-bar in which you pay and get wine and beer, for instance.

This is the first time I have rated 10/10 for a hotel ! Everything was excellent here. Warm welcome and friendly service. Delightful hotel, well-located in the centre of town with lovely gardens and patios. Beautiful, classic room with enormous king-size bed and lovely bathroom with azulejos tiles. They even have an old-fashioned ceiling fan. Great breakfast and efficient service. Small but comfortable pool in the middle of the flower and plants. Even though there was no car park nearby, I simply left my car and they picked it up and return from the car park. Excellent hotel and great value for money !

Everything was perfect !

The grounds were lovely and very well maintained. I liked the classic feel of the property, and the breakfast was more than adequate. Staff was very attentive.

It would be nice to have a bar available (or beer, sodas, etc. to self serve and add to bill) by the pool, but not a deal breaker by any means. Pool is a very nice added feature to this property too.

It was within close walking distance to restaurants and to the parrochia de San Miguel Ángel. The pool area was clean and the lounge chairs comfortable and pool towels available. There were also tables and sitting areas around the pool and yard area with plentiful lighting and bathrooms in case you didn’t twang to go to the room.

Breakfast was included but it was the same everyday. Not much of a variety but it was good.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Their great attitude felt very natural, not forced, robotic politeness. The one thing I dread when I travel, is the body oil smell coming through the pillowcases. So much that I bring my own pillow cases. Well, this time they stayed in the suitcase. Their bed linens were crispy clean. I loved that. The breakfast was delicious too!

I can't think of anything, but if I have to say something, some things were a bit dated. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. For me, it went with the hacienda in Mexico feeling.

Breakfast was great: bread, fruit and eggs along with coffee or tea and juice. The hotel is beautiful, a lot of common areas, rooftop, pool. Spaces to relax but also places where you could play games with your friends or even just enjoy a nice drink. (they welcome you with a cold beer once you check in) Staff was incredible, really friendly and helpful. Make sure to let them know if you're driving so they can arrange parking. It costs extra but they do have a better rate than you finding your own parking lot. Also they pick up and bring back for you as required.

Location is very centric however be prepared to walk uphill on your way back to the hotel.
