Villa Mirasol is a charming multi-level complex of rooms with comfy indoor seating as well as outdoor sitting places surrounded by plants and shrubs. We had a comfortable king size bed with good pillows and linens. The locale is a few blocks, some downhill, from the central square in a quiet area. There are many delicious hot breakfast choices every morning each including fresh fruit, juice and coffee/tea with excellent service. Not all staff speak English but all are very helpful and pleasant.

The location was very close to the house that my husband and I had rented for 3 years, so I liked staying in the same area that I knew so well. My husband can no longer travel. I hope that I will be able to return to San Miguel again next year and if I do, I will again stay at Mirasol.

The only thing that I can think of is the lack of good itlighting in my room. Perhaps it’s because the light on the ceiling fan was not working.

The hotel was very nice- cute and clean- and the staff was very friendly. The location was wonderful.

The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the shower didn’t get very hot. The water was only lukewarm. It was okay for me because it was the afternoon on a hot day, but if I had taken a shower in the morning or when it was colder it would not have been good.

The room was great, clean and comfy. Nights there can be cold, so look for additional blanket in a wardrobe and heater :) The room doesn’t have a fridge, just in case someone needs it. the personnel is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, usual combo of fruits, eggs and some bread with coffee. You can order for additional payment some porridge or pancakes. The location is good, on a quite street. All in all I can highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about Villa Mirasol! The room was beautiful, clean, and the bed was firm and comfortable. The staff went beyond expectations to meet our needs. The breakfasts were fabulous and plentiful.

Some other reviews complained about the stairs and the noise. Ask for a room on the 2nd floor if you are concerned about stairs. And personally, I liked having my window open to the courtyard and hearing the staff preparing breakfast in the morning.

location was great. type of guests were rather fine people which was nice to see. staff were overly kind and rooms are lovely, the suites and standard rooms wonderful. breakfast was delish. poached eggs OMG

crossing from my junior suite to lobby when it rained was imposible, so do not take that room in rainy seasons. happened only once.

The room [Paloma] was quiet, comfortable and charming. We like the sunny second floor patio. The breakfast was great.

I could not connect my Mac laptop to the Wi-Fi because the security level used by the hotel’s routers is old and not deemed safe to use by Apple. we could connect to the Wi-Fi with our phones.

Great staff, beautiful hotel and rooms, excellent location.

There was an issue where the fan in my room was controlled by the remote in other room and viceversa. A stand fan was offered but it was too noisy to be used at night. Smells from kitchen, like cooking oil, enter the rooms.

staff was overly kind and willing to please us in everything. location was great, walking distance to everything

rooms were great. internet not so good. rooms are spaciuos and there are rooftops. it was awesome to sit with friends for drinks.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Not sure what the other rooms were like but ours was quite large, quiet, and had lots of storage. Bed was good, on the firm side. The best part of the stay was the great breakfasts by the lovely wait staff. Fresh fruits. Eggs how you like them, warm bread, fresh juices!
