great location, nice atmosphere and some rooms have an amazing view! money for value is quite good I would say. the pool looks ok, city center is walkable (10mins). I would come again!

one of our beds was absolutely horrifying to sleep in, it felt like we’re sleeping on the metal springs! luckily we had another bed in the room which was much better, but god those springs were horrible. secondly they require 200$ pesos deposit for the remote, which is a bit weird for me as a foreigner. lastly, the windows are not well isolated at all so it can get a bit noisy. we had some people next to us and they decided to tell their life stories at 7 AM, was hella annoying.

This property is filled with so much history and mystery every possible section has a story not to mention incredible turn of the century Decour from the colonial Mexican times. I especially love the mural by legendary artist Juan O’Gorman, Architect and artist friend of Diego and Freda. And by the way was Diego in Fruita stayed at this hotel as did Trotsky. Tons of photo ops plus a tour of them lines plus great location will definitely be back to dive in the Pool once again.

Really nothing not to like this hotel is a classic!

The view was outstanding. The facility was old and roomy and historic, a negative to some reviewers, but a bonus to me.This city maintains a frenzied traffic flow and the location and size of the hotel grounds make it a nice, quiet escape. The staff was efficient, attentive, and professional..

The restaurant was expensive.

The hotel is beautiful. The design of it is perfect, it might look old but the bed was really comfortable. The view from the city was also very pleasant

There is a big LED lamp in the pool that gets into you eyes and photos when trying to see the city from the balcony. It does looks cool, but a bit of a problem when trying to get relaxed

The hotel is very beautiful, the room is very spacious, the view of the city from the balcony is spectacular, the furniture and all the decoration make you travel back in time, surely we will return, the location is excellent on the main Av, you arrive, park your vehicle and you no longer have to get into the center, which is always a mistake, 10min walking to the center

In the room the only problem was the bathroom had 2 problems, the first the shower curtain was very short, the water leaked out and became a puddle, the second the shower had bad gaskets and also the water leaked everywhere, wetting the toilet, paper etc

Pool was awesome, room was nice and clean, rustic but that was the style we were looking for, like old town, vies were super nice, the place is great - the only bad thing is the bar, really bad drinks, didnt try the food after the drinks on the first night were very disappointing.

drinks at the bar were really poorly made, needs more light around the outside areas at night. Pool side, restaurant service wasnt very inviting and the prices at the bar were high compared with the quality and with other places around there.

The breakfast is OK. Great location. Excellent customer services. The best view from the suite terrace. Great hotel for the price.

Sometimes the person that opens the car gate wasn't there. So, we had to step out of the car and open it by ourselves.

beautiful hotel, wonderful balcony, giant and gorgeous pool, historical mural completed by an artist is part of the property. super clean, gorgeous views of the town from the restaurant pool.

this is one of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed in but there is a moldy smell in the bathroom. otherwise I loved it, as did my kids.

The bathroom smelled funny, maybe it come from the shower pipes

Exceptional property above a rare historic mine with a beautiful pool featuring a giant mural along with amazing views from the room and throughout.

-The mattresses were extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. -There was an opening between the large patio doors and the room which let in noise and cold air. -The jacuzzi had cold water only and was broken. -The water of the pool was ice cold.
