The room was nice; the bed was comfortable; we enjoyed the pool

They didn't honor our reservation for the brunch by the pool. We did it as soon as we arrived and the next day the staff told us it was not possible

Friendly, detail-oriented owner who is generous with her time and local knowledge. Yummy cooked to order breakfasts! And coffee whenever you'd like. Beautifully converted care facility. Lots of areas to relax in around the property, and 2 Miradors! Many repeat guests were present -says a lot. Guest kitchenette is a superb addition. Casa del Sol aims to please! Was my birthday and owner arranged a nice bottle of wine.

Location is central which means walkable but also a tad noisy during the day with deliveries etc. (plus dusty rooms from opening doors for air). Rooms a bit small.

The property is flawlessly decorated and maintained. There are numerous patios, roof decks and gardens in which to relax. The pool is heated to the perfect temperature. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the owner Elizabeth is a dream. She ensures that all of her guests have a wonderful stay in Ajijic. The location is flawless. One block from the best restaurant. A five minute walk to the plaza and short walk to the malecon. We had friends staying at various other properties and none of them compared to Casa del Sol

The breakfast was delicious! Loved the fresh eggs, yogurt, fruit and homemade granola. We really enjoyed our room- comfortable beds, pillows, and location off of the courtyard. Location of the inn within walking distance to the plaza, restaurants and stores. Loved all of the art on display and the plants and flowers. Enjoyed the rooftop patios and went up there every morning to watch the sunrise.

I wish there had been hot water for tea. I do not drink coffee.

This is a perfect small boutique hotel run by a lovely Elizabeth. It is elegant without being at all fussy. The rooms are well appointed, the bed comfy. Public spaces are spacious, the pool is very pretty. Breakfasts vary each day with two main dishes, always well prepared and creative. It is in the heart of Ajijic village, walking distance from everything. I would definitely stay there again.

I liked everything

Overall Casa de Sol is an exquisite property. The staff was always attentive made best efforts to please. Breakfast was a perfect way to start the day with individually prepared dishes not the usual buffet that one finds at similar hotels. Location was convenient and walkable. Kudos have to go to Elizabeth for creating a sophisticated oasis at Casa de Sol.

This place is a gem, well maintained, excellent location, great service from ataff and manager.

Pool could be cleaner, needs scrubbing, but usable. Water could be a little Warner, nights are cool so the water temperature drops.

The location is great, close to Centro and the Malecon. The Inn wonderfully decorated , numerous locations to sit and have a coffee or drink. Staff is there to help you with any of your needs. Breakfast was fantastic and a Nepresso coffee machine was a nice addition. Elizabeth, the inn keeper, was marvellous and truly does care about her customers

Very quaint hotel with lots of charm. The room was very comfortable and clean. Elizabeth and staff were amazing. They helped with everything from reservations to taxi rides. Breakfast was also amazing - generous portions made to order and the bar has great margaritas. I definitely recommend Casa del Sol Inn to anyone heading to Ajijic.
