Nice hotel on Main Street. perfect for visiting downtown Chapala. Clean and attractive. Breakfast was ample with choice from 8 entries. Great shower and bed. Public parking around the corner and staff helped us with our luggage. The car was hit by another driver in the parking lot and the hotel manager negotiated with them to pay for damages. Good restaurant nearby El Fogon. Beautiful back yard.

Room was small. Hard to find at night. Signage was small.

Loved the welcoming environment. After meeting the owner you can tell that this place is run by a loving team and their efforts to make your experience the best is evident. Breakfast was lovely and the grounds are beautifully kept. The bed was so comfortable and found myself not wanting to get up in the morning. I could go on and on about the positives of this place. They far exceed any potential "negative" comment.

The more expensive room has more noise exposure as it faces the street (although the balconies are beautiful!). I booked the king suite which was lovely, however maybe including some finishing touches like robes, or better sound proofing the room would make the value more perceivable. I was left wondering if the garden suites offered a more private experience. I still slept very well all things considered and would love to stay here again.

The breakfast was delicious! The outdoor area is beautiful. We were able to spend time in the back area at a table and enjoy relaxing at the end of the day. The hotel was clean and the room was really nice. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and was in a great location. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

The parking was really hard for our group because we had a rental car. It is street parking only and was difficult to park the car close during busier times.

Needed a coffee machine in the room and tea kettle inside room to make late night and early morning; they had communal one but that’s not the American and European way ; need cater for our needs; Nice to have a pool! Inform client about construction at front ;

Location is ideal for anyone visiting Chapala (or even nearby Ajijic) as a tourist. Across from the town plaza, just a few blocks from the waterfront, and near good restaurants and coffee shops. Easy to catch 15-minute bus to Ajijic. This hotel is calm and quiet in spite of location in the heart of the action. Nice semi-enclosed interior space & courtyard. Nice staff.

I had a room with NO windows -- not even to the interior courtyard. So, this was a bit claustrophobic. (If I'd realized the room came with no window I might have upgraded my room choice.)

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Chapala. Everyone was very nice and accommodating, the breakfast that comes with the reservation was good and you can always pay extra if you want variety. The town felt very safe and the hotel too.

The only thing I did not like was the amount of mosquitos. We found mosquitos and a fly in our room but the town was filled with them because we went on raining season.

I loved more came with premier movies and net flex. Wonderful air conditioner. Staff was very friendly. Break was amazing. Everything was walking distance.

The room didn't have small refrigerator. Would be nice to stock cold drink.

We stayed in the penthouse suite. Loved everything about this property. Clean & Convenient location. Friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was good.

Penthouse suite has two private bedrooms which is great. But, would be nice to have two bathrooms.

The place was very nice, cozy and the staff nice.. I did request more pillows and they said they didn't have extra but besides that was good.

The noise is bad in the front, busy street late on weekends, constant traffic, loud car radios or something so that was not pleasant. Parking is not great if busy you have to park several blocks away. If you want downtown this is a great place, but if you want a quiet peaceful room ask for one not on the street side ;)

The place is very nice, clean an excellent location

not really the property, but since the city is repairing the street, it quite uncomfortable and we did not enjoyed completely our stay.
