Great beach and solid restaurant on the beachfront. Room was comfortable. the balcony bathtub jacuzzi as hot as you want it with the sunset view was awesome. Jacinto is a total stud and 5 star manager. The rest of the staff is super helpful and friendly. We also loved cooling off in the pool after dinner at sunset. We went to dinner every night in the Zona Romantica and had a great time. Great snorkeling at the beach.

you need to understand that that block is a jumble of hotel, condos, with bridges and hallways connecting them.

A pleasant surprise, very clean, recently renovated, studio style hotel with direct private beach access. If you want yo keep it simple and deal directly with the gorgeous ocean, yes yes yes. If your looking for amenities, not here. It’s very isolated in its feel so this is for beachside silence. Essentially it’s a no frills Mar Lindo, though there’s access to their beach restaurant. There’s no better place for beach access at this price. Night is breathtaking.

The terrace room was beautiful but for my vegan friends the 3rd floor terraces smell of grilling bacon at sunrise as the restaurant serves breakfast to the crowd.

The location was nice as it was away from the center and quiet, like we wanted, but a really close Uber ride to town. we also walked along the beach a few times to get to town which wasn’t too far. The view was nice and the beach beautiful. A/C worked very well.

There are a few things that unnerved me about the property. Our door didn’t lock closed and you had to remember to lock it and mess with the handle to get it all the way latched. Please install a deadbolt for your guest’s peace of mind. Pillows were too cheap and only had two on a King sized bed. The towels were frayed, thin and scratchy and only had bath towels- no hand towels which was annoying. Downstairs restaurant was delicious, affordable and right on the beach but upstairs one overpriced and not as good. The decor is minimalist but could have used a splash of something more.

Amazing location south of Zona Romantica. Bus stop and taxis right outside on the main Rd. Hotel has access to the beach and a restaurant underneath. Super staff, clean comfortable rooms. We had an absolutely fab stay. Great location if you want to beautiful views and to be close to but not in the centre of the action. We were able to walk into town along the beach but you would probably want to take transport if you were traveling with small kids as it wouldn't be ideal for a stroller.

The hotel is older and does have some funky layouts but the ocean views and the size of the rooms was great. You only want to get a room facing the ocean, the others are not worth it. There is no food service but there is a great beach restaurant (not connected to the hotel) but right at the bottom of the hotel that was great. The staff were great and took great pride in the cleanliness of the hotel. It is away from the business and touristy parts of town but a short taxi ride into town.

The pool was small and did not get much sun on it. If you have any problem with mobility this is not a hotel for you as there are lots of stairs. Because of high tides we could not walk along the beach to the town and it is a busy road to walk along to get to town. There are very few amenities but I did not mind that, just loved being near the water.

We really enjoyed the location due to the nice Concha Chinas beaches (both snorkeling and Sandy beaches without the incessant vendors) and proximity to Old Town PV. The staff was also very helpful and friendly . Our room was very comfortable and clean as well and the air conditioner worked!!! In addition, there is a nice little restaurant right on the beach with beautiful sunsets. my understanding is a lot of the rooms are unique so you should contact them after you book your property to request specific rooms.

It doesn’t have any elevators so there are a lot of stairs. The hotel is not a traditional resort so people who want massages, golfing and extra luxury touches will not like this property. However we absolutely loved it since these amenities aren’t important to us. The towels also could use improvement as I didn’t get washcloths consistently.

The location is the best on a great beach, The room was big and having a kitchen is always convenient when traveling with the family.

Need more parking spots, even if there is a short walking distance in between, feeling safe for letting the car in a secure place is a plus. Their own restaurant or an agreement with the local one to include the meals in the bill might be really convenient.

The location is stunning. The hotel is perched just off the winding road that clings to the steep mountains between Puerto Vallarta and Mismaloya and it’s compact terraced design drops several levels directly to a private beach with excellent snorkeling and beach combing. There are two restaurants, one at street level and one at beach level, both with amazing views. Markoba is affordable and the design simple, but it’s clean the staff are friendly and the views and convenience are amazing.

The location was fantastic. Beautiful ocean views and the sounds of crashing ocean waves and birds in the palms. No loud music, traffic or people partying here. Our room was nicely laid out with a comfortable king sized bed and a large tub on a private balcony. Close enough to amble along the beach each morning and evening to go town for breakfast and dinner. Also, very easy to catch the bus up at the road or a taxi.

There is nothing that we didn’t like. However, visitors should be aware that there are a lot of stairs and the property is set back slightly from the beach. The small beach is accessible to hotel patrons via the restaurant below or the lane way. Also, there are much more, and far better, restaurants than the two located closest to this property.

The view from the room was spectacular, with ocean waves crashing and a hot tub on the balcony. the service at the front desk was very friendly and efficient. bottled water was available on every corridor, which was very convenient.

the pool was very small so we didn’t have a chance to use it as it was often busy with families. also there were only 2 sun loungers on the patio which were often taken.
