The location is central to everything; I valet parked my car and didn't use it until leaving. The facilities are top notch, very clean and the staff were terrific, responding immediately to the couple of requests I made.

The one slight negative in the location is that the noise from the music, etc. in the square does reverberate into the hotel. Rooms toward the next street back from the square might be a bit quieter.

Amazing location. Our room had a wonderful view. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the triple digit temperatures. The staff was welcoming and we enjoyed the rooftop bar. Hotel occupancy seemed low during our stay so it seemed like we had an entire wing to ourselves. We loved sitting on the patio during the evenings when things cooled off.

There was loud disco music playing at the pool and we had to ask several times for it to be turned off. This hotel is elegant and exclusivem, so we didn't want the Spring Break all-incusive commercial hotel experience. They did comply though. It was a shame to drown out the sounds of the birds. I feel they should keep the music off, or lower it and at most play classical music if any.

The attitude of the staff was simply outstanding. Giving you great recommendations about places to go and things to do. The room was just like the pictures.

It would be great that the reservation includes breakfast. It would be worthy to provide some recommendations if you go with your own car, since the street is narrow and there are hours with high traffic.

The Solar is a luxury hotel of the highest quality! The rooms are beautiful and the whole property is meticulous. The staff is friendly and helpful. We love the delicious breakfast and excellent service. The sky bar with pool is one of our favorite features with great views and so relaxing. We highly recommend this hotel!

the views from the top floor were amazing. loved the architecture and style. My room was very nice.

what I didn’t like was that they didn’t provide a late checkout which I found disturbing. I also didn’t like the fact the staff at the rooftop bar would allow to sit and have a drink at 10:40pm when they closed at 11pm. they had picked up all the cushions from the chairs and indicated we could order and take it to our rooms. not something we wanted to do. we want to have a night cap on the rooftop admiring the view. also didn’t appreciate a male waiter asking us to provide the tip in cash at the restaurant. As a result I gave the tip to the young waitress who had been working her tail off serving us not the male waiter who came to give us the bill only.

Very nice upscale hotel with wonderful rooftop bar and VERY helpful staff! The attached restaurant was very very good - especially the breakfast.

The bed was a little too hard for us - but we may be in the minority.

we love the central location, spacious rooms, comfy beds, beautiful decor. we have enjoyed their restaurant serving wonderful traditional Mexican breakfasts and dinners. since tequila technically closes down at 6pm we will continue to make dinner reservations right at their location rather than venturing out with a taxi.

it’s a beautiful property in the heart of Tequila, perfectly maintained

for the cost , the rooms were pretty basic, plus you got only two capsules of coffee for free, after that they will charge you.
