A great location near the heart of Queretaro. Loved walking in the area. The room was small but adequate and was comfortable with a great shower and lots of hot water. The bed was very firm but for me, this was fine. I slept well except for noise. The breakfast was basic but adequate. It would have been nice to have more coffee. Super nice staff greeting us and helping us at check out.

There was only one real problem and that was the noise at night from a nearby bar or festival. On Sat night, it lasted until 3 am, then 1 am on Sunday night. On Monday, it was wonderful - no noise at all. If not for this, I would have given higher rating for this charming hotel.

What a wonderful hotel. The facility itself exudes the charm and character of Queretaro. While maintaining the charm, my room provided every modern amenity and was spotlessly cleaned each day. The location can't be beat as it's smack dab in the middle of the historical center and all of the sights, plazas, cafes, and restaurants are within an easy walk. The best thing, though, is the customer service. Each employee gave their all to ensure a great stay. Each day you let the staff know what time you want breakfast the next day and it is served exactly on time. Printing your boarding passes, reserving taxis, setting up excursions, the list goes on what the staff will go out of their way to do for you. I cannot praise the staff enough.

Absolutely nothing.

They bring you breakfast to your room and they are very attentive.

I didn’t like the tax service they booked me with. It was called radio taxi. They got to the airport earlier and charged me more for waiting on me. They gave me one set fee of $500 pesos then when I finally made it out of the airport they said it would and addition 180 for waiting 30 mins. As a female traveler alone this did not make me feel safe and radio Taxi guy was even wanting to take me to atm to get more money. When I asked the hotel what happened they said they didn’t know they would raise the price.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. My king bed room upstairs was charming. It felt vintage with high ceilings and unique furnishings. Not a cookie cutter hotel room. The long staircase to access the upstairs could be a problem for some people. No elevator. But the staff quickly took my bag and carried it up for me even though I was fine with doing it myself. The king bed was firm and very comfortable.

The Continental breakfast was welcome but insubstantial. It was delivered on a tray at 7:30AM. I would have liked more food. It was just 2 pieces of lightweight white bread toast, a large glass of juice and a cup of coffee.

I loved the concierge who was absolutley lovely and made us feel so welcome and made us laugh with her sweet personality. The location is incredible, as it's right in the center of the Historico Central district. So easy to walk out to your door and be within several main plazas within a 7 - 10 min. walk. It was also quiet, despite being so centrally located. The rooms were very spacious and clean, and the water pressure was excellent. The beds were firm (I like that!) and not soft, which I so appreciated. I will definitely stay here again without a doubt.

There isn't anything that I can think of that I didn't like about this place.

An honor and a privilege to stay in this historical mansion! Immaculately cleaned, QUIET, a true respite for a traveler starting with a lovely fruit and yogurt breakfast delivered to our table by the goldfish pond outside our room. Bathroom: Magnified lighted mirror, quality toiletries, plenty of high pressure hot water. INCREDIBLE friendly, helpful staff! Not everyone spoke English, but it wasn't a problem. We used our phones to translate when needed. Although we had A/C, it was great to just open our shuttered doors and let the cool breeze through in the evenings. A lush, comfy bed! Our room was on the bottom floor: Lluvia (Spanish for rain). It was magical to stay here. When we came in after a long day of walking and sightseeing, the candelabra outside our room was lit (till about midnight, I think??) to welcome us. Perfectly located to discover the historic district.

That I had to leave after only a week there:(

The hotel was charming, blending history and traditional Mexican decoration with modern day conveniences. The location is perfect, being only a few metres away from plazas and shops. The included breakfast provided daily to your room is excellent along with the Oaxaca coffee. However the standout for us were the staff who were so friendly and helpful . On our arrival I realised I had left my wallet in the back seat of the taxi ( which turned out Not to be An Authorised Taxi - so take care!) . My IPad showed the location of the phone and the car and Juan on the front desk immediately ran down the street to find it. It all turned out well, ( and a lesson was learnt ). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone seeking a small, (13 rooms) atmospheric hotel with the personal touch, which I forgot to add is scrupulously clean.

The room was beautiful. Nice breakfast. Air conditioning worked great. Nice hot water with good pressure. The location is awesome and safe. Near a 7/11 convenience store, which is very handy for water, snacks, beer, etc. The rooftop patio was awesome!!

The beds were about as hard of beds as I have ever slept on. Felt like sleeping on a box spring. There was some sort of night club next door that played very loud music with the bass bumping until about 1am. Combined with the hard beds, I slept like garbage for the few days.

The wonderful staff always goes extra miles to make you feel at home (even better). The hotel is set in an old building that was remodeled with elegance and good taste. I liked the excellent and healthy breakfast served in my room: very good coffee (probably from Oaxaca or Chiapas), lot of fruits, whole-grain bread, and tasty home-made strawberry jam.

Staying at the heart of the old center of Queretaro has many advantages, but it can be a bit noisy late at night, especially prior to Christmas (when I stayed in the hotel). This is no fault of the hotel. Any hotel in the center of Queretaro may more of less have the same drawback. On the other hand, going out at night can be fun (and is safe).
