The hotel is very well located, and is close to the ADO bus station which connects directly to Cancun's airport. Amazing rooms and cleanliness

There is a club in the street right next door and our room looked directly onto it. They played loud music for most part of the night and the room was definitely not sound proof

We stayed just for one night before our flight from Cancun and I think it was a perfect choice - great location just next to the bus stations and busy street, a lot of shops and restaurants around. The room was spacious and super clean, had everything we needed, the bottles of water was a nice touch. The receptionist were speaking English and were able to give us some advices, they were kind and professional. I’d for sure stay again!

Just as I said, the hotel is located on the busy street, next to the night club, so if you have issues falling asleep with the noises, make sure to pack your earplugs.

The room was very clean and well-appointed. The hotel is in an excellent location for those wishing to enjoy the local culture rather than the cosmopolitan beach scene. It was good to have the cafe in the hotel. However, we did not use it because there was no decaffeinated coffee available and there was an odour of toilet cleanser when we were there.

The air-conditioner goes off when one exits the room. Consequently, it is too hot on returning to it. I am not at all used to paying in advance for hotel accommodation. Normal business practice is for the booking to be made with a credit card and then payment deducted at the end of one's stay, not at the beginning. What would happen if I wanted to move on before the booking period was over? Apparently the printer was not working and so I could not get a copy of my electronic ticket in readiness for my next flight. I was disgusted to have to pay 1300 pesos for a taxi from the airport to the hotel. The hotel should have a system for its clients that is much more reasonable in price and availability; a shuttle perhaps.

it was extremely clean, good location for downtown but not much to do around. V useful parking option

the front door was closed during the night so you have to wait until the staff open the door for you. you need to sign a paper to confirm you will not consume alcohol in the room which is v weird to me. the staff usually ask you which room you are staying in every time you enter the hotel which is weird and annoying

We happen to stay at both Hotel Luma and Hotel Antillano 1 block away. It was not obvious which one was better when we booked online. But Hotel Luma clearly has more modern and comfortable facilities (elevator, better public seating area...etc). The staff speaks better English. We had a flight cancellation and had to reschedule our booking on the day of check-in. They kindly allowed us to rebook it without extra charge, which we greatly appreciate the flexibility. This location is close to parque de las Palapas, a great place to see local nightlife and have great street food. It is on R1 route with easy access to the hotel zone and the beach.

Big clean room 5 minute walk to ADO bus station. We booked an interior room and it was very quiet - no traffic or guest noise. There was plenty of space to put the luggage. The shower was huge and had plenty of hot water. Check-in/ check-out was simple with no surprises. Decided this will be my go to hotel for downtown Cancun stays when traveling by ADO.

Price is a bit high for not having a pool or included breakfast.

I stayed here as a layover for my flight home, and for that it was perfect as it's a short walk from the ADO Terminal. The room was spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and check in/out was painless. The shower was far and away the best that I have ever encountered in Mexico. Plenty of good food options nearby.

My room was on the ground floor near the restaurant and there was some sort of tour group that was allowed to have breakfast in the restaurant very early (about 6am) and the noise from those people was annoyingly loud for the time of day.

I like the 24 hours parking, was big enough. The breakfast was tasty and healthy. The beds were comfy. Like the fact the key was a card. The location was great, there was a pharmacy just a block away. And the Palapas Park is just behind the hotel. Great wi-fi.

No breakfast options. The shower door was a bit transparent you can see the siloutte of the person inside. The need to request a blanket, all beds should have one. There's a disco across the street. You can eat some muffled noise at night.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the tv was a smart tv, the room was very big, the shower wasn't too hot or to cold, the front desk employees were very friendly, it was quite clean, I asked for a quiet room and the girl put me in the farthest room in the back on the third floor. I appreciated that. Also the location is super close to the ADO bus station. About a 7 minute walk. A pretty good and affordable taco place was a few doors down on the left, also an Oxxo to get some basics. They also let me check in just a little early. That was nice.

The pictures of my room showed a coffee maker that I was really counting on and when I arrived I was told there was not a single room with a coffee maker. It was why I chose this specific hotel. The girl at the desk did offer to bring up hot water, which was very nice. The room above me was moving furniture until after midnight 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️. A quiet time (maybe after 10pm) should be placed because that kind of noise at that hour of the night is not appropriate in a hotel. Consider placing a water bottle in the room per person and eventually a piece of wall art (that's just my own two cents).

Forget the hotel zone, downtown is the best place to be and Hotel Luma is probably the best hotel I could have chosen. I actually had a long stay (2 months) and really felt like home. Very well priced and very good quality. The staff was super nice and accommodating, the hotel and my room were spotless. The cleaners do an amazing job. The room is a very good size, I had a twin even though I was alone. There's no wardrobe, but you have a rack to keep your clothes. Not a big deal for me, at least I didn't have to open/close doors when while deciding what to wear. The bed is comfortable and the room is generally quiet. In the 2 months I was there I heard on a couple of occasions some loud guests. The AC is quiet. Just next to the hotel, a nightclub plays loud music from Thu- Sun 8-11 PM. It didn't bother me much, kinda created a good atmosphere in the evenings, the music was not too bad, I even Shazamed some songs. I had breakfast at the hotel a few times, omelet, beans, nachos, toast, butter, jam, coffee/tea, juice, all freshly made and well priced. There are loads of places to eat in the area, there is a great restaurant just to the right of the hotel and a quesadilla stand to the left. There's a Chedraui supermarket 10 min walk, a gym 5 min walk (they offer monthly membership so was perfect for my stay). Just across the big avenue, literally a 3 min walk, there is a Lavanderia, so you can wash your clothes. There is a 10 min walk to the start of the Hotel Area bike and run/walk lane which goes on for at least 10k, so I could do my daily runs. The ADO bus is only 7 min walk from the hotel and the R1 bus stop for the Hotel zone is like 3 min walk. I mean, this must be the best-positioned hotel ever. And finally, I must say I was impressed with the WIFI, it was faster than my home internet, so no problems using Zoom or any online video calls, perfect to work. I really felt sad leaving, but hope to return.

Ok so, when i first arrived the sink and bathroom were not draining well, but eventually, they unclogged them. The WIFI is super strong, but it cut off about 3-4 times during my stay. The hotel was very quick to fix it, but in one instance it lasted all weekend. The nightclub nearby plays loud music Thu-Sun 8-11 PM, it didn't bother me but have in mind when asking which side you want to room to be on.
