The room was really big and we had jacuzzi. The bathroom was pretty big and really liked the smell of toiletries. Most of the staff was very friendly and super nice. They gave us a small bottle of water per each person. In general was pretty clean. The bed was really big and comfortable and we had two big windows facing each towards something like internal courtyard. In the room there was ceiling fan and AC. We loved the interior at the reception - vintage furniture, they had also pretty big library and some ceramics.

The sofa was not comfortable and some of the furniture in the room/bath needs renewing. Not sure why we had like a wardrobe/ place to put your clothes in the bathroom - if it gets super wet and humid that would affect them.

Beautiful lobby,old school decor in the rooms,comfy beds and nice big shower with great pressure and heat.Central location across the bicentennial park,near everything.The blackout curtains with screened windows keep out the mosquitos and make a calming resting place.

Rooms a bit dark,windows don't offer great views,but there was a lot of beautiful trees to look at.

Amazing rooms for the price!! Wifi was very good! Way better than in other hotels. Breakfast was great and the staff is exceptionally awesome!! I was in 4 different rooms because I kept extending my stay and switching was always easy. Would always come back!

I liked a lot the way that they arranged the lobby, in a 19th century style, the petrof piano was amazing, the restaurant was so confortable actually and staff was great, not mentioning the fact that they have a beautiful library.

The room was a little bit small than expected, bed was not that confortable, sheets were so thin, and what I did not like the most was the "not-excellent" odor of the carpet. You guys have to do something about it ASAP

it’s like a theme hotel, the owners made the place like a museum. dedicated to a legendary composer and feels like you are in a movie.

we went there with a baby and it was cold, but there were no possibility to warm it even a little bit. all they could offer was a blanket which will not do the job for a baby

The place has character and is a stone throw away from the center. immediately hot water from the shower and the possibility to have a good breakfast for a reasonable price.

Here and there there can be fixed something. Not a total makeover because that might kill the character of the place.

I have very sensitive sinuses and they were irritated the whole time in the room, giving me a nasty headache, by a mild odor of carpet cleaning fluid, or something similar.

great wifi, wheelchair accessibility was great—elevators and ramps throughout the hotel. location very close to central Xalapa and very walkable. cute library in the hotel

would have been nice to have a parking spot specifically for disabled guests, but it still worked out fine

This hotel is a gem! First class especially in my King room. Maybe 5 stars! Staff is great, but very little English. My Spanish is poor, but no problems. The hotel is an easy walk to the central area. Everything else is straight up. If you have trouble walking up, take a taxi. Friendly people everywhere. Walking down easier. Very clean, airy, quiet and an incredible bargain!
