A Dreamy Getaway at Casa Mia El Cuyo My stay at Casa Mia El Cuyo was nothing short of exceptional. This charming hotel nestled in the quaint beach town of El Cuyo provided the perfect retreat for our vacation. The beautifully designed rooms are cozy, comfortable, and exude a sense of serenity that truly embodies the spirit of the town. The staff at Casa Mia went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist with any needs or recommendations. The on-site breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of dishes to choose from, including some delightful local options. The hotel's prime location allowed us to easily explore El Cuyo and its stunning beaches. We appreciated the tranquility of the area, which is far removed from the hustle and bustle of more touristy destinations. After a day of exploring, it was a pleasure to return to Casa Mia to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend Casa Mia El Cuyo enough for those looking for a peaceful, authentic experience in the Yucatan. The combination of warm hospitality, idyllic surroundings, and comfortable accommodations made our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Casa Mia is a great place to stay with the beach and the kitespot just a 100 meter stroll away. Wonderful clean beach and a great kitespot with more than enough place to launch. We stayed in the somewhat smaller Ocean room and later in the suite. Both are very clean and equipped with a good shower and beautiful views. The suite is equipped with a refrigerator and a nice space to sit comfortably. Both rooms, like the rest of the building, are wonderfully airy and have good mosquito nets. The staff are cheerful and you can tell that they are having a good time. The tireless owner Marco, with his smile, friendliness, tips and tricks, ensures that you feel welcome and never want to go home. We have used the communal kitchen which is clean and equipped with sufficient materials to cook dinner. Casa Mia also caters for downwinders with a delicious lunch on the beach. All in all, we can wholeheartedly recommend Casa Mia to everyone, but certainly also to the kite surfers among us.

Beautiful place in the wild nature, close to the beach, in the end of El Cuyo / 10 -15 minutes by walk from the center/- very private. Nice decoration, amazing view, well equipped comunal kitchen. Large terraces with chairs and hammocks.

not possible pay by credit card, if you don’t want to pay very very high fee. They said something about 20%, I think it is quite strange. I understand that some fee can be but this ….. Now is a new ATM at the centre of El Cuyo - HSBC bankomat / maximum 7000 pesos/ but they have hight fee around 81 mxn. It is written that it is including breakfast, but it is only coffee or tea and fruits, they offer much more but you must pay. We found out at check out.

This place is just amazing! The owner is a really great guy and you can tell he built the house with much love for detail. You really don’t need AC in the rooms as they are breezy and never too hot. The beautiful beach is just a few steps away and you can kite surf with the school within the hotel. Every morning we got a delicious breakfast and Miley even taught us how to make Chilaquiles. We had the best time and would always stay again with Marco when in El Cuyo.

Casa Mia is a beautifully designed and decorated boutique hotel where the staff makes you feel welcomed and at home. It’s located close to the beach and a bit away from the center of town, so it’s perfect for amazing ocean and jungle views and star gazing at night. Delicious fresh breakfast as well! I’m planning my next trip already.

Nothing! It's a little far from the center of town but that allows it to have amazing, uninterrupted views of the surrounding jungle and beach

Perfect if you are looking for a holiday dedicated to contact with nature, local culture and physical activity. You go to bed early and wake up at dawn to enjoy the beauty of the place and live at the pace of the local people. The facility is run by very welcoming and friendly people who are very happy to help. The facility's dogs and cats are an absolute asset!

a little noisy. I woke up nightly to fighting cats. we stayed 6 nights and never had our room cleaned. I finally requested a cleaning on night 4, but sheets were never changed so our bed felt sandy.

Service kind, nice and always available. The hotel is amazing, cozy and comfortable. The view from the balcony exceptional and the position a few minutes walk from the beach and from the center.

Breakfast is good but could be a bit more. For continental breakfast you have to pay an overprice. But nothing too expensive :)

A unique property with such a talented and accommodating staff! We aren’t kite surfers (which is part of the attraction) but enjoyed the vibe, the privacy and the mission of the place. breakfast was great, and we were thrilled that they had a traveling vegan chef during our visit who made us inspired meals.
