Splendid Conference & Spa Resort

Stayed here for five nights in June 2023. It was one of the nicest hotels we ever stayed at. We paid for a premium sea view room and I requested a quiet location with a view of the sea. They gave us room 942 I think and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was modern, view was stunning and the double bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was modern so no complaints at all. No issues with noise levels either which I was most grateful for. We had our own car and it was valet parked. The buffet breakfast was excellent and no complaints about the variety at all. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel so can't comment on that. There is also a QR code service by the beach and the pool where you can order food and drinks. It is slightly more expensive than other places but you're paying a premium for what I thought was a good service. Location wise it is about 5 mins drive (pending traffic) to Budva old town. You can actually walk it which takes about 25 minutes and is a pleasant walk with little effort required. Taxi ranged between 6 and 10 euro from the hotel on the way to old town. At night coming back, taxi's are usually in tier two rate to it cost about €15. There are a few restaurants close by and shops just up the road if you want some chocolate/water. Overall highly recommend this hotel and if we were to return to Montenegro this hotel would be top of our list.

Perhaps not charging for coffee capsules. I don't drink coffee myself but my partner does and I think it should be included. I don't mind the minibar charge as its very common but the coffee capsules was a little bit much I thought.

I liked the valet parking. The views on the pool and sea were amazing

The staff was either overworked or disinterested. I checked in and they just threw the key card at me with no explanations about the area, the fact that the spa was included or any additional information. Service at the bar was also somewhat slow. There was a coffee maker in the room but they charge 2 euros per capsule! And this is a 5 star hotel. The pool and beach area close at 17, so you can't rent towels anymore. They were blasting loud music at the pool area, which was annoying if you wanted a relaxing holiday.

2 euro per coffee capsule in the room - I see this first time in 5star hotel. 15 euro for cocktail - expensive. There is a wonderful restaurant Azzuro just next to the hotel (50 meters by the beach), they offer good food and the same cocktails for 8 euro.

We came for the honeymoon. Everything was excellent especially Mr.Srdjan from the reception he is very helpful person. we love the hotel and we love the country😍 it was a great experience!! thanx you for everything Splendid family❤️

Everything was perfect just there is no complimentary coffee in the room.

The location and sandy beach was perfect.

Open buffet was good. But the menu has to be much more alternatives espacially dinner

I loved view from our room and the room. it’s big and comfortable and have a bath too included to the shower and toilet. Only thing which is only my preference, I would like to have toilet separate but it’s good anyway. Very clean, they have cleaned the room in the mornings and I found clean towels changed 2-3 times a day.

I didn’t liked their main restaurant La Bussole. It looks more like canteen. Breakfast is good, I could find what to eat. But I didn’t liked the coffee there, both from coffee machine and from “barista”. Coffee from coffee machine tastes bad. Coffee from barista tastes better but they don’t know how to use this machine to make perfect cappuccino. I had a very big desire to ask if I could make a cup of perfect cappuccino by myself. And last thing I didn’t like is prices for food and drinks in their bar and restaurants. If you order them, be ready for prices as in Norway. Very overpriced, it’s better to go out to the beachfront and find order from bar which is about 1-2 min away. Coffee costs there from 1-2,5 euro.

The staff was very polite and helpful. The beach was not crowded and breakfasts was just one of the best ever.

They try to charge for anything they can. Left a car for overnight EV charge, and was not even told up until the checkout, that the charge is 5€ an hour. Coffee in the room, 2€ per capsule… sodas in the room fridge over 5€… Lots of stuff around the room was warn out, no bath robes in the room…

Everything about this place is fantastic! What stood out the most were the young people working here, from the lobby reception, the housekeeping, the babysitters, to the restaurant and beach staff, everyone was absolutely incredible. Traveling along with three kids is not easy, but this place made it so. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a beautiful spread to start the day, and the restaurant/bar food looked delicious, although we only tried the pizza. Definitely coming back here again as it offers a gorgeous spot with a private and clean beach and all amenities a family may want. A special thanks to Milica the “teacher” and Nikola at the beach for making our stay special-From the three musketeers, A, L, and V.

The room was excellent as were the staff, some exceedingly so. Also enjoyed the Japanese/BBQ restaurant. Spa did a very good job and pools were good

Given the status of the hotel felt the breakfast arrangements could have been more personal although better than Than many

We were on the 8th floor with a corner balcony which proved us a great view.

Room service was overpriced. 50 euro for a couple sandwiches and chips is too much.
