The staff at Hotel Terminus are amazing. I arrived late on a Saturday and as I was travelling immediately on the Sunday knew I would not be able to buy camping gas or ethanol alcohol for my backpacking stove.as shops are shut on Sundays. The staff at Hotel Terminus reassured me that they would buy what I needed and it would be available for me. They couldn't find the gas that I needed but did find the ethanol alcohol and it was waiting for me on reception on my arrival. So thank you to Marija, Suzana and Biljana. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and has a great breakfast. Highly recommended by me to you the readerof this review.

Terminus does not look like much from the outside, but was perfect for a 2 day stay. Conveniently located right next to the bus & train station, and less than a 15 minute walk to some of the main attractions of the city center. Pros: Prompt responses to inquiries pre check-in Organized airport pick-up & taxi pick-ups as requested Friendly and attentive staff Spotless rooms, lobby & dining area Bedrooms have small fridge, AC, wifi, TV, blow dryer and toiletries. Several breakfast choices (eggs, crepes, cereal, fruit, local meats & cheeses, pastries, toast, etc.

Cons: These aren’t really cons, more of a reflection of expectations / cultural differences. I did see there was a coffee vending machine in the lobby, but it would be nice to have freshly brewed coffee served, rather than make your own instant coffee at breakfast. Comfortable beds, but just a paper thin sheet as a “duvet” cover. I did find a blanket in the closet, but the bedding is minimal at best.

We wanted somewhere close to the bus station for a brief 2 night stay in Podgorica and this was it! Just around the corner from the bus station it is an easy walk even with heavy bags. It also only 10 minutes from Clock Tower and Old Town. Room was clean and had all necessities. AC worked well. Breakfast selections were adequate and they opened early. Staff was very warm and welcoming with recommendations and calling taxis when needed. FYI stick to the Yellow Cabs which are metered and very cheap. Taxis at bus station are most gypsy and will charge you double or triple.

We chose this hotel based on its proximity to the railway and bus stations so that we could use it as a base to visit other areas. The downside to that is that it is a 15 minute walk to International Square which is lively in the evenings. The staff were very very helpful and gave good advice on Lake Skader etc. We liked the breakfast menu, there was lots of choice and it was replenished regularly by the lady who worked there. She would make omelettes etc if they ran out. The chambermaid was very helpful too.

Some of the electric points didn’t work so we only had one bedside light.

Excellently located and very pleasant hotel right next to the bus and train stations, though you are not affected by that. Personally, I had great help from two of the receptionists. One booked a taxi for me to the airport which was inexpensive. Nice breakfasts and a comfortable room. If you have travel plans to see a lot of Montenegro, this hotel would make a very good base. The Bradt Guide to Montenegro gives the Terminus a good review and one I agree with. Would strongly recommend. Two good restaurants also in Guide books, Pod Volat and Lanterna.

I was happy with the whole of my stay.

The sweetest people I have ever met in my entire trip for 10 days ( Zoran, Marija, Biljana, and Suzanne) They all made me feel home due to their very warm and great hospitality with positive energy. They are all helpful regardless of the time or need. The location is perfectly amazing. Walking distance (less than 5 min) to the train station and 1 min to the bus station The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is comfortable . The bathroom has toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel) along with extra slippers I requested for an iron, and it was provided within a few minutes Breakfast has a variety of local food selection, and it's just yummy and starts at 6 am in case you have early plans so you won't miss it Parking is available (private and safe)

Absolutely nothing

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served at 6 am but I had to check out at 5 am. To ensure I was able to get breakfast, the staff put together a to-go bag for me. They also reserved a taxi for me and made sure it attended at the required time. I only stayed for one night, but the property was conveniently located right next to the bus station and within walk-in distance to the Mall of Montenegro, Old Town, and downtown.

The bed wasn’t comfortable and the fridge was so full of items for purchase that there was little room in the fridge to place items i brought with me.

The staff was super helpful. They try their best to give you great recommendations. She organized a trip to lake Shkoder for me and recommended me a very lovely Konoba. Also the breakfast was very good and the hotel is directly next to train station and bus station. The AC worked fine and I was even allowed to Check-in earlier since my room was already cleaned.

It's close to the train station and to the bus station but at the same time it's quite a walk downtown (maybe like 20 min). Also in the train station area sometimes creepy people walk around.

A solid hotel in a convenient location. It does what it says on the tin. The staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good. In spite of being next to the bus station the room was nice and quiet.

The location is ideal for trips around Montenegro as the hotel is less than 3mins walk away from the train station and the main bus terminal. The breakfast was adequately equipped, rich in various options of jams, meats and cheeses. Also fresh juice and instant coffee was available during my stay. The bathroom was well equipped, even had separate shampoo, shower gel and conditioner which were refilled by room service every day. That is surprising as many higher class hotels don't have that.

The beds are fine but not overly comfortable. The mattress is only covered with one thin sheet that easily moves during the night. Also, the on-suite fridge is very loud.
