In general, we really enjoyed the experience specially because of the location and the views. The pool and restaurant area are amazing, but the biggest positive was how helpful the staff was through the whole stay. I have to add as well that we really enjoyed the food (they even had wine available!) and the prices were really good.

Unfortunately, the heaters did't seem to be working inside the room, so that part was a bit of a letdown in the experience. Communication beforehand was a bit hard as well through Booking, but after getting their Whatsapp everything worked fine.

Our stay at canyon lodge exceeded our expectations, as soon as we arrived we were made to feel at home by the staff. We are both vegetarian so were slightly worried about the food options but we were catered for amazingly, lunch, breakfast and dinner were all incredible. The food was all homemade, fresh and delicious and there was always more than enough of it. The pool and area around the pool were stunning and the perfect place to relax. We decided to do a quad bike trip and really enjoyed it. Overall the stay was perfect but what topped it off were the amazing staff, Lahcen and Lhoussain couldn’t do more for you, thank you both!! Hopefully one day we will be back and see you again.

The location was out of this world. Peaceful, woke up in the morning and could hear a sound. The infinity pool was incredible and huge. Once in a lifetime experience. Included dinner, which was accompanied by local musicians, which involved the audience. Was offered a camel ride or quad bike ride, which would have been amazing, we didn't take them up on the offer as we were only staying for 1 night. Breakfast was a good offering. Bathroom was not expected to be of such high quality. It's definitely a stay to remember, highly recommended.

The bed, although massive, wasn't very comfortable. The road in was a single track and broken road, felt sorry for our taxi driver in his new car.

The accomodation is in a sensational location. The views are out of this world, the infinity pool is beautiful and really cold even though it's extremely hot.

The rooms are not so comfortable. The rooms seem half renovated and they are extremely hot and the aircon doesn't work properly. Dinner is lovely but I think the entertainment shouldn't be in your face when you're trying to have your dinner.

Good location. Beautiful swimming pool. very nice tents, with amazing view. Seemed like the nicest desert camp in the region to me (drove past some). Very friendly and cooperative staff. Friendly owner. Wifi works sometimes, which is better than expected in the desert. Renovation was in progress (plants, tiles): looked very good. Fun excursions.

Timing of the dinner not suited for young kids. Luckily we already read about this here and prepared for that. Staff was very helpful, proposing to provide food for the kids earlier. At some point there seemed to be a problem with the pool drainage/sewage system, with some waste ending up in the pool. It was only a few minutes. Some short power outage, no big problem. Blood stains (from squashed mosquitoes?) in the bathroom.

The peace was just amazing, you could hear a pin drop! Our luxury tent was huge. Lovely bathroom and toilet. Towels included - and also pool towels. Each tent had own private patio with sunbeds. The pool was outstanding - absolutely beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The owner was very chatty. Spotlessly clean - even in a desert! Food was of a high quality and very tasty. Drinks were reasonable. Evening entertainment was perfect - singing and dancing but not too loud or rowdy and finished at 11pm.

I loved the peace of the place …truly a place of silence. The pool was fabulous. Staff were kind . Truly beautiful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a good view over the Canyon

On booking I was told that the property was suitable for people with disabilities …it is not really. To get to the pool involved walking a steep path into the canyon and then up . I only did it once. The performers at dinner were very talented however trying to push people to get up fell flat …maybe the guests were just not very fun.

Incredible facilities / views / the Canyon itself is beautiful esp if u want a nice little hike in the evening. Emmanuel is an incredible and caring host and got a great team around him. Food - a true highlight of the evening - a lot of it and probably the best one we have had so far ( and I have been in Morocco twice!) If the chef opened a restaurant- I'd b there ! Swimming 🏊‍♂️ pool is amazing. Overall- this was a great choice. Sleeping with the moon and stars ☪️ is an incredible experience...

Wish the food / dinner service started earlier. 9:30 is way too late for us to eat :-( especially with no snacks avail in between. Flies - too many of them and they kill the vibe a little. But no control over them so we get it! A little too cold at night so a heater would be great. Some live music 🎶 would have been a great addition.

Away from civilisation, barely any signal, WiFi is only available at the restaurante and is weak, perfect for an escape. No complaints. The surrounding, the canyon, the pool, the outdoor fireplace, this place is unreal. Greater by the Ower and saff are amazing.

Loved everything. Room was not cleaned during our stay, but it's a camp experience, so it's not a major complaint... we are clean people, so it didn't bother us. Other tha. this 10 stars.

It’s an exceptional experience to stay at Canyon Lodge. Beautifully remote, surrounded by nice hills, the positioning of the Tents gives you a very nice view and the pool above a hill is just wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and professional management and staff. Delicious food and breakfast. I totally recommend it and will go there again for sure.
