Staying at Habitas Agafay was like no other place that we have stayed. The level of attention to detail from the amazing customer service by all of the staff, to the beautifully designed tents and outdoor lounge areas, and the exemplary food & drink, I can not say enough about this property. The location was ideal in that it was a short drive from the city, only about 45 minutes, but far enough that we felt completely removed from the hustle of the city. The tents are beautifully decorated, and the beds are really comfortable. The property has multiple pools and lounge areas, that we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was over the top amazing! I could not be more impressed with this property.

Our stay at Caravan Agafay was truly unforgettable. The staff was wonderful—always going above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, from arranging our activities to setting us up with a private driver and handling all our taxis. They were so accommodating and made us feel completely at ease. The food was some of the best meals I’ve had anywhere. The incredible breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus were nutritious, authentic, fresh, and delicious. We had Moroccan tea every night and green juices in the morning. The tents were cozy, spotless, and super comfortable. The beds felt like home, and every night, I slept like a dream. We were surrounded by peaceful views and enjoyed the perfect balance of relaxation and activities—yoga, gardening, swimming, you name it. I’ve traveled to a lot of places, but this was something special. I felt safe, calm, and deeply at peace the entire time. After just three days, we didn’t want to leave and could have easily stayed for days. I’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to share this magical place with my friends and family.

Nothing to complain about. We did have the occasional bug in our tent, (we are in the middle of the desert, of course) but the staff would handle any complaints and concerns immediately.

- Hotel has a brig structure with a lot of tents, pool, chairs to rest - Bed and room was very comfortable, considering a tent layout - A lot of activities are available and there is a lot of availability - Meals were very good - we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything was really well cooked and tasty

- in the night we stayed, there was a low occupancy so main structures of the hotel seemed a bit abandoned (e.g secondary bar ) - I imagine this isn't easy to solve due to the structure of the hotel but a note to take into account.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Caravan Resort in Agafay, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the stunning views of the desert provided a serene backdrop for our getaway. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional service we received from Amine and Abdul. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made our experience unforgettable. Amine went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, offering insightful recommendations for activities and dining that allowed us to fully appreciate the unique charm of the resort and its surroundings. Abdul, with his friendly demeanor and eagerness to assist, made our stay all the more enjoyable. He was always available to answer our questions or help with arrangements, making us feel valued and cared for throughout our time at the resort. The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with traditional Moroccan elements. We also enjoyed the delicious meals that highlighted local flavors, which were anything but ordinary. Overall, our experience at Caravan Resort was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the outstanding service from Amine and Abdul. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in Agafay, this resort is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!

Really easy to get to; just 20 minutes in a taxi from Marrakesh. The staff of the restaurant and bar were really lovely. The pools were serene and peaceful, and the room itself was super comfortable and cosy. I felt extremely relaxed here for three days. The food in the restaurant was also amazing!

The staff at the reception were a little standoffish and not nearly as friendly as the restaurant and bar staff. I unfortunately left a small bag with some jewellery in my room on my last day and it was not found by the cleaning staff or returned to me. My fault for leaving it behind, but a little disappointing.

The hotel is stunning, set in a picturesque spot in the Agafay desert, with the Atlas Mountains visible in the distance. Everything is beautifully designed and adds to the luxurious feel. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive, you can tell they are a little short staffed in the restaurant but we never felt we were waiting for too long. Due to an issue with noise management gave us a free upgrade to a bigger/nicer room, which was so spacious and comfortable inside with a great view. We had a few mishaps during our stay but management were always quick to resolve the issue - so service really is great. The activities bookable by the hotel were all good fun and well organised, we loved the desert trek with a Berber lunch. We also found out during our stay that Habitas do loads for the local community, and were one of the first companies to respond following the earthquake - so it’s an added bonus to support a company like this :)

Food in the restaurant is extremely overpriced and we didn’t find the quality to be great. Much cheaper places in Marrakech were more flavoursome. The hotel should stick to its roots, cooking proper Moroccan cuisine rather than trying to be more Westernised. We had booked the lower value rooms, which still aren’t cheap - they are tiny in comparison to the larger ones. They are also close to a loud generator that kicks in when weather is cloudy, as solar panels don’t work, which we found annoying. (To be fair, they upgraded us because of this)

we had an amazing 4 night stay at Caravan by Habitas. We just wanted a pieceful place to chill out and it delivered. The staff were amazing. Couldnt do enough for us. The food was lovely very tasty and obviously the weather made it.

The food choices were lovely but by the end of our 4 night stay there was nothing new to try to eat. The menu needs to have specials and different food and may be we would of stayed longer. Some of the sun loungers/.beds were broken and our chair outside our amazing tent was broken. I asked for this to be repaired but nothing was done

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but this deserves it. From the moment of arrival, the staff is very friendly. Very easy check in, our rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. We stayed for 5 days in December and only one night was very cold, the rest of us didn't even feel it. Everything they did for the new year is incredible, the dinner, the music, the fireworks. If you have the opportunity to be there at that time, I would definitely put it as a priority. We went to the yoga offered by the hotel every morning and they did one with the sunset and music, absolutely incredible The food, all fresh products, variety, and delicious. Many activities to do for the family We took quads, e-bikes, some afternoons we went for a walk and found other campsites or cafes. It is a very safe, quiet place, perfect to disconnect. I recommend it a thousand percent

Maybe the fact that some tents are a bit too far from the main area

The property is really thoughtfully designed with very attractive landscaping and communal areas. The staff were all very helpful and we could not fault the reception staff in particular. The food served was delicious and very nicely presented. Our room was very comfortable.

Given there is no drinking water on tap, I would’ve expected bottled water to be either included at this price point or to have been very cheap. For comparison 1.5L usually sets you back about 10-15 dirham, at the hotel it cost 40 for a 1L bottle. The included activity of a ‘cocktail class’ amounted to watching the barman make a mojito. Like wise the ‘tafarnout’ activity amounted to watching the bread be cooked in preparation for dinner rather than any explanation of the bread/process. The service in the restaurant was incredibly slow, seemingly because of a lack of staff.

Absolutely incredible experience! This place offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the present moment. The cuisine here is nothing short of delightful. Each dish bursts with a symphony of flavors, elevating the dining experience to extraordinary heights. Moreover, witnessing the breathtaking sunset and sunrise, coupled with the mesmerizing spectacle of starlit skies at night, adds an enchanting dimension to your stay. Truly a magical and unforgettable experience!

Maybe adding more sun beds at the pools will be convenient
