Located in the Kasbah district of the Medina, a 15 minute walk to main square. Safe by day and night. We walked this route several times. Quiet, comfortable, excellent service, beautiful people and Riad. Hassan was tremendous with suggestions and booking taxi, and excursions to Atlas Mountains and Camel rides. Wonderful people, absolutely beautiful architecture and design. Plentiful breakfast and service from ladies on staff. Wine and beer available for sale.

This is a lovely Riad. It's beautifully decorated, the rooms are very pretty, and the courtyard and pool are great to relax in. I stayed here on two occasions and both times, I had a great stay. The staff are really nice to deal with and the hotel is clean and very well maintained. I was very grateful to have good air-conditioning. The breakfast provided is good. The location is really good - it's off a main road in the Kasbah so you don't have too far to walk from where the taxi drops you off. It's in a safe quiet area where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within minutes walk. I enjoyed seeing all the family activity around the nearby mosque at night. Note: It's about a 12min walk to Jemaa el-Fna.

The shower needs some sort of screen or curtain - it was annoying having to mop up all the water around the base of the toilet after every shower. The old doors to the suites are beautiful but I found the padlock setup a bit of a pain. The room could use a mini fridge so you can keep drinks cold. All minor things that wouldn't put me off staying here again.

The riad offered a delightful escape in the heart of the city. Its charming ambiance, comfortable rooms, and convenient location made it a suitable choice for exploring Marrakech's vibrant culture. One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying breakfast. The breakfast offerings were simple yet delicious, featuring local pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, and aromatic Moroccan tea. The staff was really accommodating and helped us with any query we had. They even provided us with breakfast on the days when we needed to leave early.

This is one of my favourite hotels that I've ever stayed in. It is so tranquil and relaxing and only has 7 rooms. Everything is really clean and well maintained and it is decorated so elegantly throughout. I loved the big peaceful bathroom in our room with the copper sink and traditional wooden ceiling. We stayed slightly out of season (beginning of March) so the weather wasn't really hot but I imagine the riad would be nice and cool in the summer. The pool is nice and clean (my son had me in it everyday even though it was still a little cold this time of year!) and the roof terrace is fantastic. The courtyard in the centre of the building is covered over during winter months so it doesn't let in rain, etc and is a lovely place to relax. The host Paola is very helpful and friendly, as are all the brilliant hospitipal staff, and you can contact her on WhatApp with any queries even if she's not on site. We had tea with her upon arrival and she talked us through a map of Marrakech and gave us tips and suggestions on places to go. The breakfast is nice and plentiful and the wifi was never a problem as there are multiple networks throughout the building. When looking for a hotel we found Riad Amira quite early in our search and it definitely stood out. We then continued to search more expensive places but nothing we saw seemed to quite have the feel of Riad Amira. We did wonder if we'd get there and it would become apparent why it was cheaper but that was not the case and thankfully everything was beautiful. It exceeded our expectations and I'm so glad we chose it. Location-wise it is situated in the Kasbah just down the road from Moulay el Yazid Mosque and about a 15min walk from the madness of Jemaa el Fna and the Medina. The Kasbah is definitely more chill than the rest of the old town and a great place to base yourself without constantly getting lost in the souk.

The common areas of the hotel are absolutely charming & so carefully thought out. The personnel are just lovely too - they are a real strength. I felt that no-one could do enough for me. I even got an early breakfast made specially because I had to leave before the breakfast. I loved the bed - one of the most comfortable I have slept in for a while away from home. The early check in and check out times compared to other Riad were also a big plus. It was hot & having the aircon on for my arrival was great too.

I would have loved to be able to make a cup of tea in my room, but the is a small point. Otherwise it was really fantastic.

December 2022

Riad is beautiful and neat but medium standard (we can compare with 3 other riads in Marrakesh). Breakfast was good. The owner took some time to give advice what to see in Marrakesh.

The price of 900 DRH p.n. is a little too high for the found standard. We agreed breakfast to a special time because of our flight. Waited 20 minutes for it. We felt tricked by the owner with a car to the airport. We wanted to take a taxi (normal is max. 80 DRH in the street), the owner persuaded us to not go the street, but to book a taxi TO BE IN TIME (we agreed on 150 DRH). In the morning: Car came 30 min too late! + we found more than 3 taxis waiting really close to the Riad in the morning + turned out that the taxi is a privat car (reason for the high price --> probably giving jobs to friends at the expense of her guests.). Why is a booked / private car for double price late? There's only one job?!

This place exceeded my expectations l. the photos don’t do it justice of how beautiful it is. the host Paula and her staff are incredible. not only did they make sure everything was perfect but they also helped recommend places to see and amazing restaurants. we also had a car organised to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. the location is really good to visit the old town and the map provided was super useful. the rooms at this riad are beyond perfect, honestly we will be coming back as everything was incredible.

I wish we could have stayed more days.

It was the first time going to Marrakech and I wanted to stay in a typical riad and Riad Amira was perfect for the stay! After a long day moving around on the streets of Marrakech, it always felt so peaceful to get back. The breakfasts (good variety) and dinners were superb. I want to thank Mr. Hassan who from the beginning welcomed us and shared many tips and explained a little about the city. He was always very kind and helped us when we needed. Also want to thank to all the ladies, Ms. Saida, Ms. Atika and Ms. Hajiba, because they were so nice and helpful all the time and not forgetting Ms. Paola that gave us some ideas on what to do on the last days and for her availability. Hope to see you again! Hugs from Portugal.

The staff is super friendly and warmly and gave us many tips for our stay in Marrakech. They also helped us with organising a trip to the desert. The breakfast was rich and delicious with juice, tea, coffee eggs, croissants and many more things to enjoy. In the afternoon we loved to relax on the big roof top terrace which has lots of chill areas and a great view. We can definitely recommend this beautiful Riad :)

October 2022

The Riad is an oasis of calm after the busy streets of Marrakech. Everyone was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet. Very nice breakfast in the beautiful courtyard. From the terrace we had a very nice view.

Our arrival was quite stressful. We wanted everything to be smooth after the long flight so we ordered a taxi service from the airport via the riad, which was re-confirmed before our flight with the precise info that the driver will await us at the terminal. Unfortunately the driver completely forgot and the Riad did not react to our messages so in the end, we had to find our way through the crowds in 40°C heat and find a taxi ourselves which was much more expensive.
