I have recently had opportunity to stay at this hotel. The hotel service was of a high standard, staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. The place was clean, WI-FI worked fine with strong signal across the hotel, air condition was working also fine, I had smart TV in the room and a fridge. Sun beds and swimming pool were available for daily use. During my stay the hotel was very quiet in day time which gave me exclusive use of the swimming pool which was very nice. The hotel is located just next door to Atlas Film Studio but is a bit of a distance from other attractions and the Town Centre (10 min by Taxi), definitely not within a walking distance. The Reception was very helpful in arranging Taxi’s for all my outdoor trips. Rich and healthy breakfasts with a large selection of fruit and vegetables were available every morning. Dinners with a high standard of service and taste that cannot be found in nearby restaurants in the city centre were provided. Room was smaller than I expected but I didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't an issue for me.

Our family had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this lovely hotel. Everything from the immaculate cleanliness to the warm hospitality exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and it was evident that great care was taken in preparing everything to make costumersfeel happy and enjoy theirtime. We would like to extend special thanks to Mr. KAMAL, who made our stay truly exceptional. His kindness, professionalism, and dedication to ensuring our comfort were unparalleled. This was a stop on our way to Merzouga and we had a great 48h there! Theme rooms were great, I took 3 rooms for my family and all were nice with great AC. Kids enjoyed room service in the evening while we went to have dinner outside. The pool was refreshing in the heat. More than anything, staff was so kind and helpful! Many thanks to the director Madame Hind and Omar always there to support and help! Finally, the ability to visit next door the OuarzaWood was the final highlight of the trip!

The staff were fantastic, everyone was kind and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was amazing, the service and standards of delicious food very good. Breakfast was great also with lots of choice. The hotel is located away from the main town but the hotel arranged taxis which were good value and reliable. The film studios are next to the hotel and worth a visit also.

A modern stay! The buffet breakfast was good lots of options! There was AC in the rooms and comfortable beds! Hence, It was a great stay to refresh ourselves before continuing on to the desert and after visiting Ben Aid Haddou.

We mainly booked this hotel for the pool since this was during the desert portion of our trip however it was unavailable during our stay due to maintenance issues. We also had to wait an extra hour and a bit past check-in time before we could check in. We found the front desk staff to be unhelpful when inquiring about amenities offered. Despite all these issues I’m still rating it a 8 because relative to other desert option stays it is more modern and the AC and comfortable beds were most important to us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Oscar Hotel. The location is right beside Atlas Film Studios, several kms outside of the center of Ouarzazate. So depending on your travel plans and where you want to base yourself, this location may or may not be for you. We enjoyed it for the following reasons. LOCATION: being slightly outside the city it is very quiet and peaceful, a definite plus. Being right beside the studio makes visiting it super easy. Also you just have to walk out the front gate and you are surrounded by beautiful desert of which you can set off walking in any direction either to explore or get some good exercise, all while staring at the incredible snow covered Atlas Mountains. You could even walk the km or so back to the actual film set used in making Kingdom of Heaven. And getting into town was super easy and cheap, just a 2 min taxi ride away. One afternoon in town touring the Taourirt Kasbah was enough for us, as that is the main sight to see. Unfortunately, we didn't really get to visit it as heavy rains in Morocco had caused some rather extensive damage. Also there is a great Carrefour Market in town where you can stock up on snacks, water and wine. ALCOHOL: Being a muslim country, finding a hotel that offers beer and wine can be difficult some times, but at Oscar Hotel the alcoholic drinks are plentiful. POOL: The hotel itself is beautiful and stylish. Movie references and props are scattered throughout the property. The pool area is beautiful and inviting to either sun, relax, or dine around. ROOMS: We stayed in a themed room suite with pool view, which literally was right on the pool, with lovely french doors opening out onto the pool veranda. Room was decorated beautifully in a Caesar theme, had wonderful coffee daily from in room coffee bar, tasty fruit and cookies waiting for us in the room upon check-in, beautifully designed bathroom areas. Wonder heating/cooling unit....it does the job of keeping you comfy.

Not a critique but just be aware that when showering water may spray onto the floor or counter areas, as the shower wall is only about 2 feet high. We just made sure the bath towel was nearby to catch any excess water. Noticed some condensation and dripping (and some staining) from the ceiling at the end of the bed. We had the AC unit going so I think the supply line in the ceiling was the reason for the stains/dripping. Not a huge deal, we just made sure not leave anything under that area.

The building itself is amazing, you feel like you are on a movie set everywhere. Rooms are nice and breakfast buffet has a good selection of food. It is common to see here actors that together with waiters and receptionists made my staying unforgettable. The private parking is very useful and safe.

I couldn’t use the swimming pool because it was really cold. But all other hotels I tried in the nearby during my trip had the same “problem “

The restaurant, pool, pool area, rooms and private patio area all exceeded my expectations. The buffet breakfast offered a huge selection of fresh and delicious food. The pool is long enough for lap swimming, which was a huge plus for anyone who enjoys swimming for exercise. The hotel is literally attached to Atlas Studios, which made it easy to tour the studios at our convenience.

We liked everything.

Really great stay, excellent quality and attention to detail, loved the small fruits and water on arrival. Restaurant was also great quality and a fair price. Also loved the rosemary bushes all around, made the entire property smell nice.

Honestly hard to find a fault. A lot of mosquitos in the room, so it might be better to keep the doors closed when cleaning. Doesn't take away from the fact that it's a proper 4 star stay.

Stayed for 1-night on our way to Zagora and MHamid. Came as a pleasant surprise it's linked to the film studio. Room is spacious and comfy. Shower could have used a shower curtain or semi-divider as the bathroom got completely wet because of the setup.. All and all good spot to say. Couldn't try out the pool as it was windy and slightly on the colder end of the temp scale. Definitely would stay again if travelling through.
