The room was great and had a beautiful view. My daughter and I enjoyed the marked trail around the garden.

Insufficient breakfast and waiting too long for coffee!

Room was very spacious and clean with a lovely view. I liked the idea of a breakfast buffet. So you could help yourself to what you like and how much you eat. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Pool is big and very clean. Nice for a swim. We also had dinner there. A lovely meal but too much food. It would have been enough to feed two people. Specially with the side dishes and the tasty flatbread. The Todra Gorge is only a short drive away and it's worth visiting it in the mornings before the tourist busses arrive.

Unfortunately when the main light switch was turned off the whole room did not have power. I understand the concept but it makes it difficult to recharge anything over night unless you prefer to sleep with the light on.

We loved our stay here! Staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The dinner and breakfast we had here was tasty and plentiful and great value. The hotel had such a nice atmosphere which does not translate easily into pictures. It definitely exceeded our expectations. The bedroom was really comfortable and had a fantastic balcony view of the neighbouring surroundings. We took the opportunity to have a very refreshing sunset swim in the pool before dinner. It was fabulous! If you’re on your way to Todra Gorge or passing through Tinghir then make sure to stop here.

It got a bit noisy with a local wedding partying up into the early morning but this was not the fault of the accommodation and was a unique experience regardless.

Beautiful Riad, so beautifully decorated. So much to take it - a real feast for the senses. So many places to sit and relax and enjoy the tranquility Swimming pool looked lovely but a bit too cold for use in February! Staff were friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a welcome tea and snacks. The room was so comfortable, the sheets were crisp and there was plenty of bedding for the cooler nights. All excellent quality. Lovely shower. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful- more range than we had had at other riads. The bar serves alcohol and you could order with evening meal or just sit on the terrace and enjoy the views.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The only slight thing was they had few of the wines on the menu.

The entire property was very well laid out and wonderfully decorated. Rooms were well furnished and were very nicely done. A waiter who took care of dinner and breakfast was just wonderful. Smiling and friendly all the time and chatted in English comfortably. The person at the reception who first greeted me was friendly as well. It was a really comfortable stay!

There was an individual, other than the ones mentioned above, and one who checked me out, who was not all that friendly. He should just not involve himself. But he might be in charge. In the shower there was no place to put the bottle of shower gel. So you had to put it on the floor and pick it up from the floor every time you used it. For dinner they served couscous. Nothing wrong with their preparation I guess. But generally I find couscous relatively bland and dry, even though relatively this was more moist than I have had before. Tajine was not an option 🙁.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Breakfast had many options and could be served in many spots depending on the weather. We really enjoyed the pool after a day of exploring however it was quite cool. The hotel was excellent in terms of service and price. It was near the main road and we were able to drive 15 minutes to the Gorge, the main attraction. I definitely recommend staying here if you plan on going to Tinghir.

The beds were really firm but we found that all through Morocco.

Everything about the property was fantastic. We were greeted warmly, the room was beautiful, the pool was amazing, and the staff were incredible, especially Omar. We ate dinner at the restaurant and tried great Moroccan soup and sat with Omar while he showed us “Berber magic”. Breakfast in the morning was spectacular. The property is also super close to the downtown area with great restaurants and shops. It is about 20 minutes from Todra Gorge. We wish we could have stayed for more than one night and will absolutely be coming back!

Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of Tinghir, and close to the Todra Gorge about 10km away. Staff were attentive without being over bearing and always on hand for queries. Room was very clean and comfortable, the atrium lobby was lovely and calm. The pool area was very nice with views of the Palmerie and mountains and the terrace a great place to eat. Breakfast was ok, they perhaps try too hard with the buffet, we had the evening meal at the hotel which was very good, well cooked, options in Tinghir appeared limited. Would definately stay again, a good stopping point en route to the desert. The area around the hotel felt safe in the village and Palmerie when we walked round, a real snapshot of Moroccan life.

Everything exceeded expectations, other hotels did a fixed table service breakfast, the buffet tends to maybe dry out a little in the summer temperatures.

In July I visited the Riad Dar Bab Todra for an overnight stay as a stopover as part of a Marocco around trip. You have to go from the main road, drive into a small gravel alley and put it over 200m until you arrive at the calm and remote riad. After driving through the entrance gate you will find very nicely designed parking spaces with shadow roofs. The house seems to be completely rebuilt, an immense potential of work has been invested to create this small oasis. After entering the riad, you have the small reception on the left hand. The check-in took place very quickly and very friendly, and I took a welcome tea on a comfortable bench at the end of the lobby. My room (like the other rooms) on the upper floor was very nice, simple and sufficiently furnished, and there were even high -quality toilet items in the bathroom. Everything was very clean and cozy. If you like the style, what I do, get your money's worth. If you let the eye wander, it can also be seen that the owner value that the guest feels comfortable. Countless, small details in the decoration and furnishings reveal that. My dinner in the Dar Bab Todra was excellent ... also recognized here that the regional cuisine is presented at a high level by means of the corresponding waiter (be sure to try it> the apetizer, a smaller Plate of a kind of pasta with cinnamon and sugar !!!) The weather allowed dinner to take dinner on the small terrace, which I also took on my breakfast the next morning. The breakfast itself is built up as a buffet in the restaurant below the terrace, a large selection and something for everyone. Due to the location facing from the main road, the night's sleep is safe. Another plus, to the entire facility in the upscale style, is a swimming pool with sun loungers, beautifully arranged in the back of the riad. A small bar directly near the pool ensures cool drinks.

Beautiful Riad or Dar decorated traditionally with a lot of taste. It’s very comfortable. The AC/heater works perfectly. Very nice bathroom. The common areas are very enjoyable: rooftop terrace, pool area, restaurant etc… The view from the terrace is lovely. The personal is extremely nice. The food and the breakfast are very good. We loved this place.

It’s a little pricey if we compare to other Riads in other places in Morocco. It’s still money well spent for us because we had a great stay.
