Everything! The location is perfect - just across the beautiful Kandawgyi Royal Lake. The hotel is connected to a shopping center, cafes and restaurants. All the staff from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the housekeeping to the hotel manager demonstrated top-notch customer service. I booked a deluxe and got a suite like room at an executive level. My room is very spacious with a separate living room, a dressing room, a working space, and a huge bathroom overlooking the lake. I wish I had stayed longer here. The best hotel in Yangon!

The breakfast at Wyndham Hotel was truly exceptional, with a diverse and delicious array of options to satisfy every palate. The reopened business launch at Wyndham Hotel was truly excellent. Lanna and Eyon's super friendly and polite demeanor added an extra layer of warmth and professionalism to the event. Their exemplary service significantly contributed to the overall positive experience, making it a memorable and enjoyable occasion for all attendees.

The location is amazing and we had selected a lake view room. The rooms are spacious! From our room we could view the lake and the greenery. The lake itself is beautiful and one can go for long morning or evening walks (which we did!) The staff is exceptional and they accommodated my requests. I had travelled for 24 hours without sleep hopping over couple of airports. Eric and Snow at the reception took up my request for early check-in with May. May said that usually they do not allow a very early check-in (I had landed at 9:30 AM and the normal check-in time is 2:00 PM.) But May was considerate enough and making out that I was tired, they allowed a very early check-in. A big shout out to them!! Thanks May, Eric and Snow. Wyndham Grand gave a complimentary fruit basket which was a nice gesture from them. The massage and spa center is wonderful with nice ambience and the service is nice. We requested for a room change as the room provided on check-in was very near to the lift. This request too was accommodated. The breakfast spread is limited for a vegetarian but is good. But if a request is placed, they accommodate it. On the evening of second day, Robert kindly took our request for getting vegetarian soup, vegetable fried rice and fresh apply juice. Thanks Robert!! And on final day of stay, Nick helped with one final request of late check out. Overall it was a memorable stay.

The option of food for vegetarians is very limited. The hotel should also try to make it easy to identify food which is veg, non-veg, vegan. It does not feel right to approach a staff every time daily to ask what food is veg / non veg

Spoon, the hotel's buffet restaurant, offers a wide variety of delicious food, especially the Chinese cuisine. We often saw the executive chef personally inspecting the restaurant, and our family felt that he was very attentive to every detail of the food. In the morning, the chef greeted my wife and daughter, and we found him to be very gentlemanly.

Internet WiFi not stable, sometimes offline

Most comfortable bed and pillows ever. Great sized rooms, spacious, well appointed bathroom and strong air-conditioning. Efficient and smooth check in and check out. Buffet breakfast is awesome but too crowded on new year's day where the kitchen could not replenish food and drinks fast enough. Would stay again if the prices are good 👍

Housekeeping did not replace bathrobe (which was placed in laundry basket on day 3) nor replenish bedroom slippers and toiletries for a 6- night stay.

The interior space of the room is spacious and comfortable, with exquisite decor and beautiful scenery. The view from the pool to Shwedagon was gorgeos.

Buffet, the cost performance is pretty weak. The seafood cream soup is not bad but it can seasoning more, The salmon sashimi is ok. But the tuna sashumi is pretty weak. I'd prefer to pay more and received a better cost perform result like Lotte hotel buffet.

Well-trained staff, very polite, conscientious and very helpful. What you would expect from a five star hotel. They were not pretentious and didn’t surround you or bother you but were attentive

Very poor choice of food, and for a very poor country well over the top on price. Especially when we ate out a lot and the quality of the majority of restaurants was on a par with the hotel. Perhaps the restaurants weren’t as grand and opulent as the hotel, but all else was.

One of the best stays in S.E. Asia. The staff were magnificent, friendly, efficient, caring, and one could see they took pride in their work. Having experience in hospitality myself, I would like to give special thanks to all those involved in the breakfasts, and especially those working at the Christmas Eve Dinner! Being a solo traveller is at times difficult, but I was so well looked after and cared for. Being made to feel like a treasure on Christmas eve, was an absolute highlight. They even left us a little gift Christmas stocking outside our rooms with biscuits - too adorable. The facilities are immaculate. Everything it of the best quality. The view from the room spectacular. Honestly such a high bar that has been set here, well done to the Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel team!!! Definitely coming back and recommending to everyone I know.

The Absolute only comment that I could leave is that 2 extra bins [1 in the bathroom and 1 in the living room section] could be added. Might I add this is honestly only for convenience sake and the entire stay was sublime and perfect.

A modern hotel with great rooms, beautiful views, top restaurants and friendly staff. The electrics and control of lights in the room are unsurpassed. The layout of the lifts has also been thought through. There is a separate low-level control for disabled people. The wifi connection is the fastest we have ever had in a hotel. Compliments to the owners and builders.

There's really no making it up. Top hotel!

The staff is overwhelmingly friendly. All requests are served at any time. Wherever I was in the hotel (eg pool or the bars balcony) and at any time, a member of the staff was nearby to make sure to take my requests. A staff member at the bar memorized my name after I wrote it down for the check and on the next day in the restaurant, referred to me by my name.

The payment process for room service could be streamlined a bit (staff had to return toothed room several times so I could pay with visa, instead of just adding the check to the room‘s checkout bill). The food served during the night with room service isn’t as crisp as it probably is during the day. Both are really very minor issues, though.
