Rooms were well kept, beautiful and comfortable. The beds are full size, not queen (so it can be tight for a couple). The shower was excellent! Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety and the food was well made. The hotel has a gym and a good pool which is always great as options if you have extra time :)

They offered us an extra bed at check in, saying it was free of charge. However on the following day when I decided to request the extra bed (after seeing the full size mattress was too small), they told me they would have to charge for it.

We enjoyed our stay at Mariott kathmandu the staff were amazing made us feel at home professional welcoming always ready to assist and help (prakash from reception Amit from restaurant and everyone sorry i m not good with names ) the place is sooo clean and neat food is amazing and variety ...there s a casino 24h open an arabic restaurant as well spa was good an amazing dj lady at raksi restaurant

I liked everything

The staffs in the Thamel Kitchen were extremely friendly, they even prepared a cake for me when they knew I was checking out that day. Room was nice and warm, I enjoyed it especially in a cold winter like this.

Power supply was unstable for a few hours. The kettle was not functioning, it took forever to boil the water. (I was only staying for one night hence I didn't call for replacement). Staffs were sometimes too friendly, asked too many questions. It's not their fault though, this is what I get for the great service. But I do prefer enjoying my holiday alone and quietly sometimes.

Great staff. Good room. The spa was also a good place, with steam room and jacuzzi. The restaurant food is good, ranging from western food to japanese food. Good variety. Concerning the hotel availability in Kathmandu, Marriott stands out.

Room doors could use spring to reduce slams; Restaurants could have the menu expanded a bit also on the beverage section; Kitchen time needs some improvement.

Comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. Not too far from the airport. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Overpriced food in the restaurants, although in 5-stars hotels is always the case. Not many good restaurants around, unless you walk 1km. Expensive airport transfer ($30 + taxes) compared to local taxi. Breakfast is mainly Asian type of food.

It is a stunning hotel, the interior design is on international trend. 1) Compliments to the architect/s for the room with a view concept, I loved the wooden floors and day bed/ couch next to the window in the room, and the spacious shower. 2) I appreciated the hotels efforts to be green/ pro-conservation. 3) The reception is stunning. I loved all the decor that reflects the region's designs and crafts. 4) Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful. 5) I highly recommend the Thai green prawn curry from in-room dining. It was delicious. 6) The breakfast had a wide variety of choices.

1) I was very disappointed with the spa treatment. The womens change room had a bad odour, suggest plumbing be addressed. 2) Suggest to provide small freshly baked bread rolls and smoked salmon as breakfast options. 3) On 1st day I was served an excellent cappuccino, but on the 2nd day I had to ask for coffee twice, after 20 minutes I was served with a cold cappuccino.

Comfy rooms and a nice surprise to an upgrade. Really enjoyed the M Club, worth selecting as part of the offered room options. Exceptional support from the staff especially the concierge service provided by Sundip. The SPA was great, and the Lebanese food offered at the restaurant Tahina on the rooftop and its quality really overdelivered, very tasty.

The staff is very friendly - they went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel at ease. Loved their restaurants - made our Christmas special. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent too. People in Nepal are very welcoming. They helped us with our RTPCR, print outs, everything.

So we went for Spa to the hotel which was for an hour. While we reached 5 -7 minutes late from our room, when I got done was surprised that we finished the massage so soon while we had a one hour slot. Later when I checked the time of payment and realized (which was late night) that our massage was for just 40 mnts and we left the next day itself so could not address this with the team.

The breakfast was decent but not managed properly as a result everything we ordered took forever to come. But the staff was trying to help. Excellent location of property. Close to thamel and airport.

Breakfast could be managed better. Also Lunch took us 30 mins to be served . I think the kitchen management at this property needs improvement.

The accommodations and the facilities were excellent. The staff was great too.

It could have been closer to downtown walking. But the taxis made up for it.
