First of all I love the complementary fruits on our room especially the banana and mangoes they are my favorite. The staff was very nice and friendly specially the staff in the Spice room restaurant namely Nirzala, Rikesh, Jessica, Dewan, Rocky, Bhojrah, Sujan and also the staff cleaning to room was very attentive and friendly including guards who are very polite and very helpful. The food in The Spice Room restaurant are really good and what I appreciate most is that I can order my food from both spice room and Chimney restaurant at the same time. The location was good also and the room was always clean.

The room we stayed in was nice and spacious room but the division/elevation between toilet and shower is always a hustle every shower time (morning/evening), no matter how careful and slower the pressure of shower the water still flooding the toilet area which makes you slide sometimes.. and also this makes you need to wet all the towels to dry the area., I would suggest if they cannot put extra elevation they can at least provide floor wiper and extra towel for the floor. Other than that, everything was good.

The staff was always pleasant and ready to provide assistance. The rooms/amenities made for a very comfortable stay. Enjoyed the spa services as well as the beauty salon on site. Food at breakfast was also amazing. and dinner at the Chimney (and from room service) was too-notch!

we stayed twice at the property. when we returned the 2nd time, we were given one of the older rooms that was significantly dated and uncomfortable compared to the newer room we had previously stayed in. Staff was very accommodating and moved us to another newer room. the older rooms should definitely be updated to keep up with the rest of Yak and Yeti.

Room was nicely set out, and the bed comfortable. The tea in the room and complementary water in the room is a nice touch Staff in the hotel were very helpful. The range of the breakfast buffet was impressive

The Chimney restaurant wasn't as good as expected Its a pity they don't utilise the outdoor space better

Currency conversion was very difficult. Indian small notes of Rs 200/- or 500/- was not Exchangeable making the trip from India difficult . The Hotel should do something about it. I had first to convert INR to NPR and then make payment leading to exchange charges paid in the market. 😩

This is a lovely 5 star hotel. very comfortable rooms (although somewhat small), two great restaurants. Most of the staff really lovely.

the hotel was great when quiet, but was extremely busy over the Easter weekend. Had to wait for a table at breakfast, and reception staff seemed a bit hassled!

the hotel is very good, located in Kathmandu, close to shopping and main street. the staff were great and took care of all our requests. the cleaning policy is very strict and makes one feel safe. there is a big garden well taken care of, a pond, a very good restaurant with nepali, indian and international food. I would gladly recommend Y&Y hotel and we will come back here in the future.

wifi not stable in our room despite the fact that the staff were very prompt on improving it. improvements can be done outside by the pool with lights and modern tables+chairs to be able to enjoy the garden by evening/night. the breakfast was the same every morning, I think for 5 stars hotel this can be more varied and changed more often.

Room was small and could not enjoy the garden view because pigeon crap was all over the window sills

This was a world-class hotel. Stunning grounds, beautiful lobby and restaurants, clean and gorgeous room, and absolutely outstanding service.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Room very comfortable; excellent breakfasts and great service. Dinners in both onsite restaurants were well prepared/served and great value.

The Yak and Yeti was truly outstanding. World class service, immaculate surroundings, and we were made to feel like royalty.

There was no part of our stay that we did not like.
