The room is excellent, clean and comfortable with an efficient wifi. We use this as a staging post between the UK and Germany. It is sad that the restaurant is no longer open but there are alternatives and the breakfast is very good, so all in all it remains a very satisfactory stay.

Very large family room with 4 beds, sofa, separate toilet and bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff, safe cycle storage, breakfast included . Good restaurants 15 minutes walk away.

Upstairs room was up a long flight of fire escape stairs which were tough to carry luggage up and down

Overall, easily the worst place that I have booked through Booking.com my wife and I stayed at. Breakfast was not available within the promised time. As a result, we left the property without breakfast but paid our invoice, which included breakfast, in full as agreed when the booking was made. No adjustment was offered for breakfast not being available as promised. The external all-metal staircase to our room on the first floor is unsuitable for the majority of guests or travellers. There is no lift at the property. In Room No.2 my wife and I stayed, the bathroom wash basin plug was stuck in closed position. When I managed to lift it open (with a lot of difficulty) water drained away very, very slowly. Then the plug dropped back to closed. We have never met the propriety/manager previously and the comments I make here are without prejudice. The beds and the linen were clean and WiFi connection worked well. It makes me sad to recommend that Booking.com investigate this hotel without delay to ensure that necessary improvements are made to bring it up to an acceptable standard.

No lift / all-meatal external staircase to the upper floor unsuitable and hazardous / bathroom must be in working order / Continental breakfast offered for the price should be available during the hours promised. The ground surrounding the property at back the with tables and chairs are in urgent need of cleaning and tidying up. We have stayed in many hotels in Holland over the years which have all fulfilled our expectations. We regret that we have to rate this property as the worst in our experience.
