Host was super nice. We enjoyed learning about the history of the house. We had 2 bedrooms and a sitting room. Huge shower. We were served a Royal breakfast in a beautiful room. My 10 year old picky eater found a lot to eat, from fresh bread, cheeses, eggs, ham etc to fresh pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, fresh orange juice to cereal and yoghurt. You will even find crossiants with a choice of jams, honey and nutella. Lovely gardens and relaxing area. The house is really quiet and helps you to relax.

Unfortunetly, we only stayed there one night but had we stayed more a small computer desk would have been helpful.

Everything, the property is amazing and the owners went above and beyond. The room was very spacious with lovely touches (free wine, chocolates etc). The breakfast was massive and varied. We had an issue with our car and the owners drove us to our appointment and sorted out our car - amazing service, thank you!!

Amazing breakfast with nice fruit from the beautiful garden. Very friendly hosts. Beautifully renovated old pastor house. Very comfy bed and excellent facilities.

Fresh, tidy, historical, spacious and very price worthy. A very nice breakfast was included as well.

Was really good so not much to add - possibly work on the sound insulation and add AC for warm days but then it might add to the price as well..

Everything was perfect. Hosts, localtion, building, rooms, equipment, breakfast - it was absolutely briliant. I strongly recommend and I hope wisit this place again.

Els was an amazing host with a wonderful home. Our room had everything we needed and was nice and clean. We have free capsule-coffee in the room (which was refilled everyday!) and a mini-bar with beer, wine, ice-tea and water, which was free as well. The breakfast was amazing, with yogurt and fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee of our choice, different buns and bread, croissants, different meats and cheeses and fresh eggs from their own chickens. The property is located in the middle of Bakel and is within walking distance to beautiful forests and a small drive for multiple national parks. We can highly recommend this property and you’ll get a lot of value for money.

A very special place to stay. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is perfect, very complete and we could eat our takeaway dinner in the breakfast room, where the table was set including a beer and water. Also the bed is super comfortable.

Logement 1818 is beautiful and comfortable, relaxing and welcoming. Els and Jos made our stay such a wonderful experience with amazing breakfasts and evening treats. We loved our time there.
