nice and modern; very green and quiet; close to Amsterdam airport; the room is equipped with everything for a relaxed stay! free parking with enough space

nothing really - everything was ok; just a minor recommendation - as there are 3 buildings there could be good to have clear indication where reception is.

We loved the scenery! The grounds are kept up so well. They are situated along de Vecht and have a terrace with a bar right on the water. The sunroom in the dining hall was beautiful, and the rooms were fantastic. They provide bikes to rent and it’s a 10 minute ride to the station. The cleaning staff did an excellent job throughout our stay. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, even offering to move us to a larger suite in another building when they realized we were the only room in our building not part of a big celebration they were hosting so we wouldn’t be disturbed, and offered a bottle of champagne for our trouble. They also provided free breakfast to our room because breakfast had been booked up by the same party and there was no seating in the restaurant. We were consistently impressed by the quality of service and hospitality, and can’t wait to come back and stay again next time we visit the Netherlands.

The location and setting were a dream! Likewise, all staff were engaging, friendly and made us feel relaxed - nothing was too much trouble. We also used the local buses and it was convenient to walk and cycle to nearby places. We deliberately didn't hire a car and benefitted from the nearby bus and train stations. Amsterdam, Utrecht, Airport and countryside all easily accessible without a car. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant area was amazing - along with a recommended local boat trip and hotel bike hire. Thank you for making this a special stay for my parents as well as my wife and I. Bedankt!

Food was a little more expensive than other nearby locations; however, we appreciate that we were staying in an exceptional setting.

It's a boutique hotel in a fantastic location away from the city meeting my expectations for a quiet family holiday. It may be reachable by public transport but having a car would make it much easier. The restaurant location and ambience is really nice. Utrecht City Square with plenty of shopping outlets is about 30 mins drive. Overall, my family had a great peaceful vacation.

Breakfast spread could be improved with some hot food meeting the needs of the customers and the climate! At least international breakfast item like omelet has to be considered rather than only boiled eggs and variety of breads.

The surroundings, the central location between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the tranquility of the place, comfort of the room (Junior suite), possibility to rent a boat, the nice and well maintained garden

When we arrived, the parking was full because of a large group of vintage car collectors but hotel's receptionist found a solution (we parked on the grass). We were surprised to not find any information in the room about the surroundings, type of services the hotel may offer etcc (like a welcome book) but hotel's staff was able to answer any of our questions. At the breakfast, a better proactivity of the staff would have been appreciated (nobody came spontaneously to ask what we would like to drink)

The hotel has a beautiful old building which is very well renovated and quite modern inside. Also, the area around the hotel is beautiful with a little pond with benches and a connection to a canal. The vibe and atmosphere in the room and the hotel itself is amazing, also our room was quite spacious which was really helpful. The food at the restaurant is amazing, the breakfast was top notch. Also, we came with our baby and the hotel was able to help us accommodate our stay in the best way (providing a cot, baby chair for breakfast, etc.). We would definitely come again!

Nothing I can mention here, the price is on a high end, but everything just got more expensive now. Otherwise its great!

The split level room is great for families, the serre/ restaurant, the hotel, teahouse and Christmas decoration.

The elevator broke down and my father (in wheelchair) could not join for dinner. No clear plan for when it was going to be fixed. Not enough things to do for children during Christmas holidays (they had good memories of Eastern with the bunny and egg hunt in the beautiful garden). The service in the restaurant could be better in terms of training. We have coeliac disease and the dessert we ordered was different and after finishing we heard it was (luckily) also glutenfree. Menu in restaurant is a bit limited.

The hotel has a fantastic location by a long, navigable, calm canal, and is surrounded by the hotel's meticulously maintained garden. The whole area looks like an old, rich patrician neighborhood. The building mass itself is also very appealing. Free, safe parking, with charging points for electric cars. Breakfast: The breakfast was absolutely fine. I appreciated that they didn't put out so much at a time and served eggs to order, rather than having it on a buffet. There was a variety of food, but they clearly have a very conscious attitude towards reducing food waste. The hotel has a noticeable, but not intrusive, attitude regarding environmental measures

the lighting system in the room set by movement, lighting during the night when going to the toilet or wash basin area (since it's an open room layout) affected/ awoken the one in bed due to the bright light that goes on based on movement. should set up a "night light" version for a softer/ dimmer light tone or just remove the movement feature and let the guests turn on or off manually.
