Breakfast was having little or no option I should say for the amount I paid. An old building hence structures are old, bathroom is not renovated and are very old style however this should be a major issue. Location: this hotel is located at the start of the village hence be prepared to walk a lot if you wish to walk through the village.

The location of the hotel for Giethorn was superb. The rental of Electric Boats and the application for navigating the boats through Giethorn was excellent. The hotel manager was very knowledgeable. Breakfast was great. Good value for money hotel with bedroom having nice terrace to watch the ducks, herons and other widlife

Thought the room would be cleaned automatically but we needed to put a sign outside the door to say Please clean the room.

Perfect location. You can rent a boat at the hotel and the hotel has an app with some very nice routes. The hotel is a bit outside the center of Giethoorn, so nice and quiet. Our room was very nice and comfortable and the bathroom very clean. The owners of the hotel are very friendly, contrary to what we read in other reviews. Unfortunately we had to leave after 1 night, due to personal circumstances. TIP: If you want to go for dinner in the center of Giethoorn, maybe a good idea to make a reservation upfront, because a lot of restaurants were fully booked, even though it was not high season yet.

The staircase leading up to the room was a bit narrow. No problem at all for us, but if you have large/heavy suitcases or are not very mobile, I would request a room downstairs, if possible.

The price for the boat from hotel was very fair €73 for 2-2.5 hours. Cost €50/hr in town. Owners are very nice. Parking is free with spaces for lots of cars. Ask for downstairs room if mobility is not good, stairs are steep. Waiter always have a joke and makes guests comfortable. Hotel serves breakfast and has a restaurant open for coffee too.

Need shampoo and a stronger hair dryer. Its about 3km from the main Giethoorn attraction ie Giethoorn village and restaurants. Taking the boat from hotel may be boring the first half but we enjoyed getting to know the boat and the tranquility. Restaurant was closed due to illness but can't fault anyone, just inconvenienced.

The hotel is located by the side of the Giethoorn village. To go to the center of the village will be by riding the bike and takes less than 10 minutes. There are some charming houses and tranquil narrow waterways close to the hotel. They are as beautiful as those in the village center but less tourists. The room is very clean and big. People can rest at the terrace by the water and enjoy the picturesque nature. The hotel and its restaurant supply charming atmosphere and are well designed and decorated. The hosts and staffs are very kind.

The Property : Nice and clean , maintenance well. Sitting in the good location.. The surrounding atmosphere is calm and peaceful. The Food : Only breakfast is served while we are staying there, no dinner. Breakfast is good and plenty of varieties. The Staff : Jan and Kathinka have been amazing to us, friendly with warm hospitality and superb service. Specific case that our booked taxi does not show up on the date of checkout, Jan was so helpful in getting the new transportation arranged for us to ride back to Delft otherwise our holiday plan will be messed up. Please accept our sincere gratitude for all your help.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly, especially the receptionist/manager. Very near to the bus stop and not too far from city. Quiet, clean and peaceful environment. Will highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Overall the stay is great, but the beds are a little worn out and shower place is a little too small. Breakfast menu is the same on daily basis too. Could include some variation would be perfect.

Hotel is operated by a family and they are very friendly! Location is very convenient too, there is a bus stop just outside the hotel. We can take the same bus to the village center area. I got the room that comes with a bath tub in the toilet and a beautiful outdoor balcony! It was nice to hear birds chirping outside the window in the morning. The scenery surrounding the hotel is beautiful and serene too. The hotel owner is full of humor, he likes to crack jokes. We were all very grateful for him and his family to make dinner for our group even though they has closed the kitchen order. The breakfast was yummy too. He even suggest to us to take a walk in the neighborhood as it has century old history. Great place to stay.

We liked the the waiter and the restaurant the food was nice as well Breakfast was continental with scrambled egg and bacon, Our room was nice and big the bed was really comfortable, you could say the room basic but it was fine for us. Really nice and clean

the menu was the same for the nights we stayed, but the hotel had a staff shortage so we understood why.

Perfect location. Beautiful property. Amazing staff. We were here for a night, but wish could have stayed longer. The Hotel owners provided all the necessary help around the area. We took a boat and a cycle from them. They were kind to offer a jacket too, to help with the cold.

My only suggestion is that - Breakfast could be better.
