The hotel was lovely and modern. The bed,pillows and doona were just gorgeous. So nice to snuggle into the bed. I left the best till last…Robert-Jan was an exceptional host and owner. I had a crash on a bike and he organised a friend who a doctor to come and check me out, he then made an appointment for an emergency doctor for 8:15pm, he then drove me there and waited while I had stitches. He constantly checked I was ok over the 3 days of my stay. When I come back to the Netherlands I will definitely stay at the hotel.

The rooms were spacious and everything was new and clean with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

One small area for improvement We were at the property at a very quiet time so it was a little difficult for the property to offer a breakfast with a great deal of variety without incurring a lot of wastage so offerings for us were somewhat limited which was understandable. Probably better then to either point us in the direction of a cafe in town or offer a discount explaining the circumstances upon checkin. Nevertheless we still loved our stay here and will definitely return when we are next in the Netherlands.

Everything was great .. the room is spacious. I lived on the third floor and the room was spacious. We arrived late.. and he was communicating with us and sending me how to enter the hotel. And bring a cot late. The breakfast is suitable, and the village is beautiful and has everything .. Close to Githroon

Staff especially nice and friendly. Thank you! Means a lot when you are traveling. Easy come and go with bikes since the bike cage is not locked.Clean comfortable room.

Be aware that is some distance into town so we rode our bikes in...but Easy to do and bike friendly. Be aware there is non locked bike facility but seems to be in very safe neighborhood near the highway.

Room was awesome . Friendly staff and good breakfast. Location is very beautiful perfect for romantic and nature getaways

By mistake one other person was given the same room as me and they open the room in the middle of the night. But issue was quickly resolved by the staff. But it disturbed my sleep. Otherwise everything else was fine and deserved a 10.

I really enjoyed my stay at MyHotelSteenwijk. I could tell the room I stayed in was recently rennovated and all the furnishings were brand new. The room and the bathroom were both spacious and clean. There was a moment in which the key did not work but the staff already had a solution and were quick to respond!! I would recommend this hotel!

Well located if you have a car to visit Giethoorn. Very helpful staff. Breakfast is just perfect.

Location if you are coming by train and that too with luggage. It's a fair walk from the railway station. Resort should provide the number of bus etc to reach their place.

Nice and new, air conditioning and quiet rooms due to good sound insulation. with a bicycle 9 minutes from city center. good value for money. I would advise this hotel to others.

Breakfast was good, Location was good just a short bicycle ride (5 mins) or drive (2 mins) from town centre.

Very small point, - room did not have a full length mirror
