Really close to Valkenburg Centre, nice easy flat walk to the numerous bars and shops. Hotel was very clean, warm and tidy. Reception was welcoming and dealt with us quickly and efficiently. Bar area and Dining Room were set up nicely, plenty of choices at breakfast. There’s a lift which is great when hauling luggage. My bedroom (no. 4) was basic, clean, warm, and had everything I needed (spare blanket included). Tea & coffee was provided (free of charge) via a drinks station in the dining area, so you can help yourself anytime. There’s also a snack area with chocolate, crisps, water, beer etc in case you get the munchies. On the Saturday night the hotel was full but there was no noise! On the Sunday the bar area was nicely full as we watched England cruise to a 3-0 victory in the World Cup. Would highly recommend.

There were no tea making facilities in the bedrooms. The drinks station in the dining area was very helpful but, obviously, you had to be dressed to get a drink and early morning it would’ve been more convenient to have facilities in the room.

The first contact by phone was very nice and friendly. My welcome was with a hug but that was due to the conversation we had. The owner She is the nice blond and the dark lady she is adorable,the chef made his own likrur and the taste was sublime.the waiter is learning dutch my compliments to him. But most of all we will go back. We left as friends and we keep it that way .if i really have to score its 100% good in every way......GREAT BIG HUGS TO YOU ALL, LOVE PAUL AND MARGO. hope to see you son. Oh they have very nice sitting places outside were you can enjoy the nature. So all that said it was pefect

Breakfast was very good and the location was very close to the city center but in a quiet neighborhood

The staff were very helpful the facilities were good a nice sized Breakfast/dining area with a bar in a room next to it and a roof top seating area that wasn't originally apparent.

Rooms at the front are near a busy road so understandably traffic could be heard in hindsight we could have requested a quieter room in advance, No tea making facilities in the room but avaliable in the reception area.

We loved this family run hotel,with top service from the whole crew,from front of house through to housekeeping. Breakfast was one of the best I've come across with a particularly attentive gentlemen making sure nothing ever runs out. Perfect location too,just a 15 minute walk to the station & just a couple of minutes stroll to the town centre. Thanks guys,we'll be back.

Couldn't fault this place!

Excellent experience at the Atlanta, very nice location - 5 min walk from the centre of Valkenburg, 5 min walk to the children's park. Lots and lots of eating options in the nearby area, hotel beds were very comfortable, very very clean toilet & bath , adjacent parking spots, very good Breakfast options with variety of menu for kids as well. Overall a very soothing experience end to end. Also not to forget the welcoming hospitality of the hosts.

It's in a central location to different amenities ie restaurants, stores, within 2 minute walk. The staff members were really helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay would be pleasant.

The internet was not working in one particular room, probably due to location of the router. Besides that, the stay was nice.

Room a little small but adequate. The sound of other guests moving and talking was quite loud especially at night.

The ceiling above the bathtub is inclined. So my head hits the ceiling when I take a bath. There is also no shower curtain so the water splashes everywhere.

The hotel is a family business which results in committed employees and excellent staff. The superior room (no 20) has had a makeover recently and is quite spacious with a dining area (which comes in handy in COVID times). The rooms has a nice Smart TV, but the WiFi sucks so forget about Netflix or bring your own device to stream it. The corridors, hallways and stairs could use a makeover (Rooms are using old-fashioned locks with keys) The restaurant is currently having a makeover. The location is perfect. On the edge of the old town you can stroll easily through the center and the hiking routes through the lush countryside skirt along the hotel. If you love road biking, Valkenburg is the center of road biking in the province with the best climbing segments of the country nearby.

WiFi sucks in and around room 20 (Netflix will not run on the Smart TV) As the building is quite old, the floors and walls are not exactly soundproof.
