Really nice staff. And I mean Really. Beds were comfortable. They are pod style, so they offer a lot of privacy and sound dampening, even in large rooms. Towels are included and there's a fridge/sink area with a coffee machine (not free). There are plenty of showers, which is nice. There is a convenient bus that drops you off right in front of the hostel and is 35 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal. However, it requires the more expensive public transit pass to use, so add that in to the price (for interrail users, the train station isn't far either)
There's basically no room space for personal items. There are lockers in the hall, but they're skinny and they only fit one of my two carry-on bags. I ended up keeping one inside my pod, which made sleeping a bit more uncomfortable than I would have liked. There is only one bathroom per gender per floor which led to a queue forming. The bathrooms could be cleaned more often (although I can understand why they're not, since they're often in use).

I liked most the people who worked there. .If You come there first time they explain You everything from the ground to the top floor. Personal in hostel very polite and helpful rare nowadays. They have very good manners and can resolve every situation and problem with professionalism. Especially I like mention Salvatore and Brenda. They have always in good mood and take every Your question seriously. Can give You the good advice about Netherland and Amsterdam..Don,t afraid to turn to them if You had some question They always have good answer. Brendan . Francesco and Cicero too can help You . Don t hesitate to turn with them with Your questions. Its shopping . orientation some small problems wich happened on the way in Your every day dealings. Great service orientated people must say honestly !
Only thing what not dissapointed but make thing littlebit problematic is absent of small kitchen coner but this is hostel not private house .Long stayers missing probably.

The hostel is well located with access to transportation at your disposal. Very quiet environment to have a good night sleep with clean compartment.
Staff should talk less with their responsibility infront of guest 🙂

This hostel was very good value for money very cosy beds in our pod and the staff were more than helpful and very friendly
The hostel was so quiet no one seemed to really speak other than the staff and we were almost afraid to breathe too loudly. It’s situated quite a distance from central Amsterdam with a change over in a different station which we found ourselves running for trains or having a long wait quite a few times so keep that in mind if you’re planning on spending the majority of your time in the city. There were quite a few stains on the blankets and sheets which were a bit disturbing considering you’re not allowed to eat or drink in the pods

Very good location near good restaurants and reasonably close to Amsterdam/Schiphol. Very affordable. Just remember to bring your own towel & shampoo/buy from the lobby. Also if you're really tall, just be careful.
Would have wanted a more powerful fan inside the sleeping booths as the air could get a bit stuffy inside with the curtains drawn. Sound proofing wasn't the best just in case you're a light sleeper and nearby people snore loudly.

it was a chicken sandwich!! very comfortable and affordable. I would recommend it to anyone traveling. big d said everyone looks like bottles of strawberry jam and I account for that. exceeded my expectations..
there isn't too much not to like, however I'm sad that the Netherlands lost the game and so did Canada, which was tough on us all, it took coming to terms with, the orange mergpijp is good. this is pretty much it.

Very conveniently located and easily accessible from Amsterdam. Juan and Alfie were both really friendly and helped with local recommendations. Pods, washrooms, shower area and kitchen were spectacularly clean for a hostel.
If only they had charging ports inside the pods

Awesome hostel right in the city center. Excellent staff, incredibly welcoming and professional. Shoutout to Salvadore at reception for providing exceptional service and setting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere The room and facilities are good for the price, exactly what you expect from a hostel.

Super super well organised friendly and clean, beds are literally like a mini private room (best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, so much privacy). Also such a nice seemingly safe area with a lovely coffeeshop across the road. Super good transport links straight into centre or anywhere else you need to go. Will be coming back asap!!! I felt so safe here as a solo female traveller and that’s the only place I can say that for (out of all the other places I’ve stayed in Dam)
Nothing, I liked everything 👍 Would be good if we were allowed our own little FOB keys to buzz in and out without bothering reception, however I understand that would be complicated and reception are always happy to help.

Ease of access and the staff were great
The other guests had no consideration for the people sleeping. The men's toilets were constantly dirty due to them using it and not cleaning up after themselves. I felt that the ignorance of other guests was rather rude, taking it for granted that the staff on site will clean their mess up as if they're in a hotel
