And the restaurants are varied and great quality. Try the downunder. Not surprisingly a Australian restaurant. heHotel was simply stunning. The staff excellent. The continental breakfast for 20 euro a little steep. Which for was a yoghurt and a coffee. The town square is beautiful,The Parking was also very expensive. You went through a civic car park first to get to the hotel carport. You were then charged 15 euro from the hotel then 5 euro at the exit to the civic carpark. 20 euro per night. Not good vslue.

The locationis beautiful. The town square and the gardens. The people here are just amazing to visitors.

The building it is very beautiful and the location is just fine, close to the small center and the room has a gorgeous view of the gardens.

The cleaning could have been better and the elevator for a 4 star hotel seems rather lacking as it was only one for that since and it was the old kind, small and slow , if someone had a few luggage cases you would have to wait sometimes a while to get it.

Nice atmosphere, very comfortable room, good breakfast, easy and cheap parking (in nearest public parking garage). Chef's dinner in Bistrot Volte was superb!! Dog-friendly room (even a food/drink bowl was provided) and dogs are allowed in the bistro (not in the restaurant though, which is also the breakfast room).

The entree/reception is not what you expect (it looks like you enter through the back door) and there are no 'official' stairs to the upper floars, except when you go through the restaurant (but dogs are not allowed there). As an alternative to the small elevator we found another, backdoor stairs through a part of the building that was currently not in use. This hidden route added to the historical atsmosphere though, so not a problem for us as all :).

the hospitality of Xavier is above and beyond what anyone could imagine! He took care of us like we were the most important guests, even after arriving about midnight. The facilities are clean and comfortable.

more coffee and creamers for a multi night stay

Beautiful hotel with tasteful design. The risk of redesigning a former monastery is that the owner goes for insane occult art and shocking images. Luckily the owner Black label so far refrained from that and kept a lot of original details. For a hotel part of the French Accor Franchise the breakfast was very good. The coffee was still automatic machine stuff, the orange juice wholesale pack and the regular bread too dry but the meat, scrambled egg and especially the croissants (despite bake off) of exceptional quality. Nice surprise! Bed comfort was fine although the bedding was as nearly always synthetic and hence feels cheap.

The room is spacious but the windows could not open at night. Only to find out next day they could if a key was asked by the reception (because of child security reasons we guess). We would have had a better night if the receptionist would have told us at arrival. He did not. A few design flaws as wooden window post in a shower where the water hits the posts : meaning even in just a few years the posts already looked worn and if left like this will need replacement soon. The walk from rooms/ elevator to reception is far for the size of the hotel certainly with luggage. But then again as it is a former monastery perhaps there was no choice.

We travel a lot with ou Shih-tzu because of Dogshows We just booked our 3th stay. . We absolutely loved our visits and will book again next show. Great hotel and staff. Amazing comfy, clean beds

Very nice hotel in the very city centre. Comfortable, spacey, but a little bit expensive.

Expensive brekfeast, better to go few meters to the quare and eat there.

Instructions how and where to park, in advance but also in the parking garage, could be much better.

The location, building and grounds are absolutely stunning. The room was very spacious and modern and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The quality of the food did not match the hotel. The bistro offered a very limited selection which was moderate in quality but expensive for what you got. The choice and quality of breads, meats, cheeses and pastries at breakfast was mediocre. For a 4 star hotel, they could provide slippers and bathrobes.
