The Zeegse Duinen are just a stone throw away, so the the location is ideal for walking in the heather covered sandy landscape of the northern Nederlands. The breakfast was good, and free parking was nice.

The swimming pool is small, meaning no swimming really, and it was not very much ventilated either. Being there at Sat night meant no normal menu dinner in the hotel restaurant, but being forced into a live cooking event or eating somewhere else. Fortunately, the somewhere else is just around the corner and good.

The room was very nice. The hotel was on a location off road but not annoying I was positive surprised then I could dine after 21:30 The breakfast was very extensive and good.

cleaning could be better. when entering the room you're able to see the spiderwebs on the lights

The breakfast was a well stocked hot buffet. We also liked we had a very quiet room on the ground floor with an outside patio with a view of the National park. Lots of greenery and Heather surrounding the hotel. There was plenty of free parking as well.

The bed was a little too soft for us.

The place is very good. Clean, beautiful. There is a cafe, a restaurant. Peace and beauty.

Everything there is great. Except for coffee and bathroom cups, they are disposable. It looks cheap, but the hotel is really beautiful.

The staff were very helpful and understood our needs perfectly. The food was varied and very well presented and prepared. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We can honestly say there was nothing we didn't like about thr hotel, staff or facilities. Possibly the only thing we would comment on was the closing time of the bar, but we were 8 blokes on a fishing trip lol.

very nice location if you want to explore Drenthe, bike for rent and friendly suggestions on how to explore the area. Hotel has a restaurant, but the town has two great ones as well.

breakfast was ok, but could have had a little more variety in hot dishes and sweets. Pool is a bit outdated: indoor and only 9m, but we didn't come to swim, but rather to bike and walk, which was great in the areas around the hotel.

The location is in a stunning area. The accommodation was clean, quiet and comfortable and the food was awesome.

There is nothing to not like.

The room was perfect, good place too for hikes and cycling. The room was inexpensive on a Sunday night.

Breakfast and meals are expensive.

Nicely located for our trip to the International Blues festival. Just a shame we didn't have more time to explore the surrounding nature.
